Abstract

The automotive industry and its components growth the manufacturing sector in Indonesia. This industry creates many jobs and drives various other industries. The research aims to analyze the firm value of automotive companies based on capital structure and sales growth. The population of this research is the automotive company and its components listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample was taken using a purposive sampling method, and the data was proceed using multiple linear regression analysis methods. The results showed that the capital structure had a negative effect on firm value using debt to equity ratio (DER), and had a positive effect using long-term debt to equity ratio (LDER). While sales growth has a non-significant positive effect on the firm value of automotive companies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perilaku keuangan terhadap literasi keuangan pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universtas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara dan sampel yang diambil secara purposive random yaitu sebanyak 94 Mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan statistic SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan antara perilaku keuangan (X) terhdap literasi keuangan (Y) pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara. Tingkat literasi keuangan berdasarkan jenis kelamin adalah responden laki-laki lebih tinggi dari pada responden perempuan. Berdasarkan usia responden yang berusia 23 Tahun lebih tinggi tingkat literasi keuangannya dari pada respoden usia 19 Tahun, 20 Tahun, 21 Tahun dan 22 Tahun. Berdasarkan tempat tinggal, responden mahasiswa yang tinggal sendiri/kost lebih tinggi tingkat literasinya daripa mahasiswa yang tinggal bersama orangtu, dan untuk responden yang pendapatan orang tua memiliki lebih dari Rp.10.000.000,- memiliki tingkat literasi lebih tinggi daripada responden yang memiliki pendapatan orangtua kurang dari Rp.5.000.000,- dan Rp.5.000.000, sampai dengan Rp.10.000.000

Abstract

This study aims to estimate and analyze the relationship between variables using quantitative data. The data presented is cross section data, the data studied is more than one. The variables that will be observed are the variables that determine the buying behavior of Gen Z and Millennials. This type of research is survey research, because it takes samples from one population. This study uses an explanatory research approach. The approach used is a quantitative description.. This research aims to look at the Factors Influencing the Level of Digital Financial Literacy based on shopping behavior. The population in this study are adolescents aged 10-19 years (Gen Z) and those aged 20-37 years (Gen Y) who shop online with e-commerce in Medan City. The purpose of this study is to look at the differences in shopping behavior of Gen Z and Gen Y. Since there is no data on young people who shop online using e-commerce (the number is unknown), the sample selection framework is non-probability sampling. The method used is purposive sampling, especially quota sampling. This method is used to ensure that the various subgroups in the population are represented with various sample characteristics to a certain extent as desired by the researcher. The samples taken were respondents from Gen Z and Gen Y who shopped online using e-commerce which were randomly selected.

Abstract

The spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia has caused disruption in all sectors, including the economic sector. One of the economic sectors currently in the spotlight is the declining per capita income, while consumption must continue to run to meet daily life. The study aims to identify the financial behavior of Muhammadiyah people in Medan before and after the Covid-19 pandemic, especially in the aspects of consumption, cash flow management, saving, investment, and credit management. In addition, it measures whether there are differences in the financial behavior of Muhammadiyah people in Medan before and after the covid-19 pandemic, so that it can be a reference for what form of financial behavior should be. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is certainly a force majeure situation that can occur anytime and anywhere. Even though there are still many other force majeure events that can occur. It is a quantitative approach, with a statistically correlated parametric test (t test), if the data is not normal, then the Wilcoxon test is carried out. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there were significant differences between the financial behavior of Muhammadiyah people in Medan before and during the Covid-19 pandemic.
