Abstract

The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical and analytic data on substantive and important issues that affect the implementation of the Air Force Unit Command School’s education program. The study was conducted from 1 January 2019 to 30 June 2019 at Air Force Unit Command School (Sekkau) in Jakarta. This study used a qualitative approach with the CIPP model to evaluate the results and benefits of implementing education at Sekkau. Respondents in this study were Sekkau’s students who were studying at the time of data gathering, former Sekkau’s student serving in Air Force units, as well as instructors and officers who have authority on policies of applied at Sekkau. The informants in this study were Air Force Chief of Staff (Kasau), Assistant to Chief of Air Force Staff for Personnel (Aspers Kasau), Commander of Air Force Education and Training Command (Dankodiklatau), Head of Air Force Education Service (Kadisdikau), Sekkau Commander, and Sekkau alumni batch 104 of the 2017 academic year. The sampling procedure for this population used multi-stage (clustering). The sample selection for the survey was carried out using a purposive sampling method of 15 respondents distributed proportionally consisting of Kasau, Aspers Kasau, Dankodiklatau, Kadisdikau, Dansekkau, and Sekkau alumni of the batch 104 of the 2017 academic year. The selection of population and respondent samples, especially in modeling, was adjusted to environmental conditions and the number of interviewees to be taken i.e. those who were considered to be able to represent and understand the issues under study.The findings are: (1) the educational program of Sekkau is in accordance with the background or context of the program, which is seen based on aspects of needs, aspects of the problem and aspects of objectives, (2) the available support for education program at Sekkau in general is in a sufficiently supportive condition for the effectiveness of the education and training program for students which is seen based on aspects of human resources, budget, and the curriculum (3) implementation of educational programs were well done based on aspects of timeliness, application of learning methods, evaluation and monitoring, development of human resources, recruitment of teaching staff and staff and services to students, (4) the achieved results of the educational program at Sekkau in general was quite good from the aspect of responsiveness, toughness and vigour. The novelty of this research is that the evaluation of education program of Sekkau was obtained through two design models, namely using the David Stufflebeam CIPP evaluation model and the Four Models Kirkpatrick evaluation model that has never been done before. The results of program evaluation in this study were also obtained through the match between the idealism of evaluation criteria that were built with real conditions in the field that were different from previous studies. These are the novelties resulting from this research.

Abstract

Hospitals are obliged to provide safe, quality, anti-discriminatory, and effective health services by prioritizing the interests of patients in accordance with hospital service standards. For this reason, hospitals are required to provide professional health workers, one of which is a nurse. Conditions in the field there are still many patient complaints about hospital services. To answer this problem, it is necessary to evaluate the performance of nurses in hospitals and see the factors that influence it. The purpose of this study is to develop a model which states that nurse performance is mediated by job satisfaction which is supported by organizational culture, career development and remuneration which also pays attention to the relationship between career development variables and remuneration. This research was conducted at the Embung Fatimah Regional General Hospital, Batam City using a survey method and involving 200 clinical nurses as respondents. Data were collected using a Likert scale with Construct Reliability (CR) 0.70 and Variance Extrated (VE) 0.50. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with LISREL 8.8 and SPSS software. The research findings for the measurement model reveal that all variables have SFL > 0.50 which indicates that all variables are valid. Likewise for the reliability of consistently measuring all indicators of research variables, it can be concluded that the reliability of the measurement model of all latent variables is good. Furthermore, the findings of the structural model reveal that organizational culture, career development, remuneration and job satisfaction have a direct positive effect on nurse performance. In addition, there was also a positive direct effect of career development and remuneration on job satisfaction, and the dominant direct influence of career development on remuneration (t-value = 12.01 > 1.96), but there was no direct positive effect of organizational culture on job satisfaction ( t-value = 1.47 < .96). The conclusion of this study, is to improve the performance of nurses at the Embung Fatimah Regional General Hospital, Batam more effectively through improving remuneration management, and implementing career development in accordance with applicable regulations compared to organizational culture.

Abstract

Employee satisfaction has become an issue in almost organizations in Indonesia. One who experienced the issue, the ministry of youth and sports became an interesting issue in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of empowerment and work environment on employee satisfaction in the ministry of youth and sports. This study used 180 employees in the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The results show that empowerment has a significant and positive effect on job satisfaction by 0.457. The work environment also has a significant and positive effect on job satisfaction by 0.496. Therefore the ministry of youth and sports must focus on the work environment that has the most influence on job satisfaction.

Abstract

In general, teacher creativity has a main function that helps get the job done quickly and efficiently. The purpose of this study is to conduct a study to determine the direct effects of organization culture and Perceptions of organizational support for the creativity of high school teachers. This study used 165 high school teachers in Indonesia. The results show that organization culture has a significant and positive effect on creativity by 0.629. Perceived organization support also has a significant and positive effect on creativity by 0.389. The implications of this research to be able to improve the creativity of teachers, every schools in Indonesia need a strong organizational culture and support from the organization.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate a model and analyze the direct influence of Transformational Leadership, Organizational Commitment and Organizational Culture on Governance and Lecturer Performance in Private Universities in Banten. This study uses an associative quantitative approach, or research aimed at knowing the effect of exogenous variables on endogenous variables. Data collection using survey methods, and analysis techniques using SEM with Lisrel 8.80 software. The population in this study were lecturers at Bina Bangsa University, Banten Jaya University and Serang Raya University, as many as 211 lecturers participated as respondents in this study. The results showed that (1) Transformational Leadership Has No Significant and Positive Effect on Governance, (2) Transformational Leadership Has No Significant and Negative Effect on Lecturer Performance, (3) Organizational Commitment Has Significant and Negative Effect on Governance, (4) Organizational Commitment Significant and Positive Influence on Lecturer Performance, (5) Organizational Culture Has No Significant and Negative Effect on Governance, (6) Organizational Culture Has No Significant and Negative Effect on Lecturer Performance, (7) Governance Has Positive and Influence on Lecturer Performance. There is empirical evidence and novelty or new findings that the existence of good governance can improve Lecturer Performance, with a positive correlation direction coefficient.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku pengayaan pengetahuan kajian fisika tentang Magnetically Levitated Trains yang layak untuk SMA serta dapat menambah wawasan pengetahuan atau tidak. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian Research and Development yang mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Desain, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Telah dilakukan survey untuk anlisis kebutuhan buku pengayaan terhadap beberapa sekolah dijakarta dan sekitarnya serta toko buku. Didapat presentase sekitar 90% guru dan 96% siswa yang setuju dibuatnya buku pengayaan. Dan keberadaan buku pengayaan tentang Magnetically Levitated Trains di sekolah dan toko buku belum tersedia.  Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku pengayaan pengetahuan kajian fisika tentang magnetically levitated trains perlu dibuat.   Kata Kunci:  Buku Pengayaan Pengetahuan; Magnet; Magnetically Levitated Trains ABSTRACT This study was conducted to develop Knowledge-Enrichment Book about Magnetically Levitated Trains for senior High School and can increase knowledge insight or not. The research method use Research and Development which refers to ADDIE development model (Analyze, Desain, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Survey has done to know the necessity of Enrichment Book on several school in Jakarta and surrounding areas and book store. Obtained a percentage of about 90 % teachers and 96% studens who agree to make the book enrichment. And the percentage of enrichment books on Magnetically Levitated Trains in schools and bookstores is not yet available. So it can be concluded that the book enrichment of knowledge about the Magnetically Levitated Trains needs to be made. Keywords: Knowledge-Enrichment Book; Magnet; Magnetically Levitated Trains
