Abstract

This study aims to determine factors affecting employee performance of private companies in Medan City during the COVID-19 pandemic. The population in this study were all private employees in Medan City. The samples were selected accidental sampling technique. The research method used was descriptive quantitative with factor analysis techniques. The results of the study highlighted that there are two dominant factors which influence employee performance decisions during the Covid 19 pandemic, namely.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of investment literacy and perspectives on investment on the ability to manage investments, both partially and simultaneously. Suggestions used in this study are associative. The population in this study were all students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University, North Sumatra. Data collection techniques in this study using documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques in this study used the Classic Assumption Test, Multiple Regression, Hypothesis Test (t Test and F Test), and the Coefficient of Determination. Data processing in this study uses SPSS software version 23.00. The results of the study prove the fact that partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on investment literacy and perspective on investment on the ability to manage investment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate and analyze the Effect of Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Knowledge Sharing together on Organizational Commitment of Private Employees in Medan City. The approach I use is the associative research approach, quantitative. Population and sample in data analysis techniques using classical assumptions, multiple linear regression, t test, F test, and coefficient of determination. The object of study is permanent employees with a minimum service period of 2 years. The population is all private employees in the city of Medan, with the sample used is accidental sampling, where the sample is the employee who filled out the questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that organizational citizenship behavior (X1) towards organizational commitment (Y) has a positive and not significant effect. Knowledge sharing (X2) on organizational commitment (Y) has positive and significant effect. While organizational citizenship behavior (X1) and knowledge sharing (X2) together have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment (Y).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of Gross Profit Margin on stock prices, to determine and analyze the effect of Net Profit Margin on stock prices, to determine and analyze the effect of Return on Asset on stock prices, to determine and analyze the effect of Return on Equity on stock prices and to find out and analyze the effect of Cross Profit Margin, Net Profit Margin, Return On Assets Ratio and Return On Equity on stock prices both partially and simultaneously on Transportation Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2017. The approach used in this study is associative approach. The population in this study are all Transportation Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange while samples that meet the criteria for sampling observations carried out for five years and as many as seven Transportation Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data collection techniques in this study used documentation techniques. The data analysis technique in this study used the Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Regression, Hypothesis Test (t Test and F Test), and the Determination Coefficient. Processing data in this study using the SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Scoring) software version 24.00. The results of this study prove that partially there is a significant positive effect of Gross Profit Margin on stock prices. There is a significant negative effect on Net Profit Margin on stock prices. There is a significant positive effect of Return On Assets on stock prices. There is no effect of Return On Equity on stock prices. Simultaneously there is a positive and significant influence of all variables affecting the stock price of transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors influence the decision of consumers (millennial generation) to make online purchases. The population in this study is the millennial generation born in the 2000s. The research method used is quantitative descriptive using factor analysis techniques. Where the results of the study stated that there are three dominant factors that influence online purchasing decisions, namely lifestyle,easiness, and quality of information.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial literacy on investment decisions during the pandemic. The object of this research is the students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara by using the Slovin formula in taking the sample. The test is carried out by simple linear regression where the classical assumptions have been tested previously. The results showed that there was a significant influence of financial literacy on investment decisions. The pandemic has made everyone, including students, start investing for future needs. Students are advised to continue to improve their financial literacy for the better. With increasing financial literacy, financial management will also be better and lead to investment.
