Abstract

This study aims to determine how to develop a Higher Order Thinking Skills/ HOTS based question bank in elementary schools and to find out the results of developing a HOTS-based question bank. This research is a research and development (research and development). The method used in this research is to refer to the 4D learning model by Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel which consists of 4 stages of development, namely defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The item validation sheet is used to determine the validity of the product. Based on the results of the quantitative analysis of HOTS items, it shows that out of 100 items, 90 items are eligible to be included in the question bank by obtaining data from the validation results of the expert team of 0.75 (high criteria), reliability of 0.90 (very high criteria), the mean differe nce of each is 0, 6 (good criteria), and the average level of difficulty is 0.4 (moderate criteria).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mengembangkan media puzzle pecahan matematika.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan Borg and Gall yang disederhanakan menjadi 5tahapan yaitu: analisis kebutuhan, desain, pembuatan dan validasi produk, uji coba lapangan, dan revisi produk. Hasil  penelitian menunjukkan bahwavalidasi ahli media puzzle pecahan matematika dikategorikan “baik” dengan total skor 24 dan rata-rata 3.42  sedangkan ahli materi dalam kategori sangat baik dengan total skor 44 dan rata-rata 4.8. Hasil angket respon siswa dalam kategori “sangat baik dengan perolehan 92.2%, dari 27 siswa. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran puzzle pecahan matematika memenuhi kriteria valid dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajan.

Abstract

Making Biopore holes is not difficult and does not require special skills but the results and benefits are much greater. Biopore functions as a water catchment and processing household waste. This method is quite effective in a densely populated environment and limited land. The purpose of this service is to provide knowledge and its application on how to process organic household waste through the Biopore system. The problems faced in Tebaban Barat village are sorting, separating, handling, and managing household waste. Handling household waste is only carried out by transporting waste from the house to the house, then throwing it into the landfills. So that the existing household waste is only wrapped in plastic and waiting for the schedule to pick up the landfills every week, this situation causes a bad smell. Implementing this activity includes field surveys, communication, collaboration, socialization, and mentoring. The survey results obtained are communicated with the village and residents. Then an agreement was made regarding the manufacture of Biopore holes. Furthermore, socialization about waste and conducting assistance activities for making Biopore holes was carried out. The results of the community assistance activities in making Biopore holes, 90% of the residents who attended were able to practice directly making Biopore holes either manually or using a drill and how to fill holes and harvest Biopore results. After the mentoring, the results of the visit carried out by the Team, 70% of the residents have implemented it in their respective homes even though it is still made manually. The activity invites interest from some people because it is seen from the usefulness of this activity. The Biopore is very suitable to be applied in that environment.

Abstract

Environmental literacy is a part of education that helps students protect the environment by using or consuming nature and by understanding and solving environmental problems caused by actions that exploit the natural environment, forests, and other natural resources in the area. This activity tries to teach people more about the environment by growing hydroponically grown vegetables in the school to make the school a healthier and cleaner place. SDU Hamzanwadi has never enhanced environmental literacy through hydroponic activities; therefore, this should advance environmental preservation awareness. The method is implemented in three stages: 1) the planning stage includes field surveys, cooperation, and communication; 2) the implementation stage includes socialization and mentoring by the Lecturer Team in collaboration with Hamzanwadi University PGSD Students; 3) the monitoring and evaluation stage. The survey findings were shared with school partners, beginning with the principal and teachers. Then, an agreement is drafted pertinent to the school's conditions, notably hydroponics production. The outcomes of the activity demonstrated that 90% of the participants were able to conduct hydroponics directly. Some participants' mastery and comprehension reached 85%, and they could utilize the help material that had been developed. This is evident in the enhanced knowledge and abilities of the partners, as seen by the green and healthy plants. The production of hydroponics necessitates considerable skill and knowledge as well as a sizeable financial investment. Thus, careful planning is required. Hydroponics is not only an educational tool for environmental literacy but may also beautify and green the school environment.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Mathematics Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on character education strengthening using the ADDIE model research design which consists of 5 stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research was conducted on fourth grade students with the number of respondents being 20 students. This research and development instrument uses a validation sheet, and student response questionnaires. The results of the material expert validation test with a total score of 62 and are in the range of X scores > 58.74 with the "very good" category. The results of the display expert validation test with a total score of 48 and are in the score range of 44.2 < X 54.6 with the "good" category. The results of the student response questionnaire on the feasibility of using the Mathematics Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on strengthening character education developed obtained a score of 218 obtained from the number of "Yes" points and the percentage of the overall components reached 83% in the "good" category. So it can be concluded that the Mathematics Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on strengthening character education is valid and effective to be used as teaching material in character building in schools.
