Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Mengetahui disimilaritas hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi khususnya materi perubahan lingkungan antara model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. (2) Mengetahui pengaruh hasil belajar kognitif dengan model discovery learning. (3) Menemukan perbedaan hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen, dan menggunakan desain penelitian control group design dengan desain penelitian dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok yang diberi pretest dan posttest pada siswa kelas X SMAN 57 Semester II T.P 2020/2021. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas dengan jumlah sampel 64 orang yang ditentukan dengan cluster random sampling pada kelas kontrol X MIPA II sebanyak 32 orang siswa menggunakan metode konvensional dan kelas X MIPA III sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan model-pembelajaran-discovery-learning-sebanyak-32-orang. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes hasil belajar kognitif pretest dan post test di masing masing kelas. Berdasarkan analisis data dan uji hipotesis yang dilakukan diperoleh bahwa : (1) hasil belajar kognitif siswa mengalami peningkatan pada kelas ekspeirmen yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model discovery learning dibandingkan dengan siswa pada kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional dengan rata-rata nilai post-test eksperimental 76,4844 berbanding dengan nilai post-test control sebanyak 67,0312. (2) Hasil belajar kognitif siswa yang menggunakan model discovery learning memiliki perbedaan nyata yang signifikan. Kata kunci: Model pembelajaran, discovery learning, hasil belajar kognitif

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using Project Based Learning models with Live Aquarium which uses native Indonesian species on cognitive study result. The research design is a quasi-experiment that uses a pretest posttest control group design model. The research population was all seventh grade students in Yogyakarta Junior High School 1 consist of 8 classes. The research sample was taken two classes based on cluster random sampling technique. The control class is VII A and the experimental class is VII B. The instruments that used in this study were observation sheets of learning implementation with the PjBL model and the pretest and posttest to find out the cognitive study result. The data from this research were analyzed by ANOVA test. The results showed that learning with the Project Based Learning learning model with Live Aquarium that uses native Indonesian species had a positive effect on cognitive study result. Abstract

Endophytic bacteria and fungi inhibite the tisues of living plant. Both of them are significant components of plant microecosystems. Current research was performed to explain several microbiological activities (production of extracellular enzymes, antioxidants, and antibacterials) of endophytic bacteria and fungi from binahong leaves extract (Anredera cordifolia (Ten.) Steenis). In this case, the research was conducted by applying a review of several literature reviews published online on Google Scholar and several journals listed on the ScienceDirect site. Based on the results obtained from the research reports from several scientific journal sources, there are four types of extracellular enzymes produced by the endophytic bacteria of the Anredera cordifolia plant, including proteinase, amylase, esterase, and cellulase. In addition, the endophytic bacteria of Pseudomonas aeruginosa from the leaves extract of Anredera cordifolia has antioxidant activity, which is volatile compounds including cis-9-Octadecenoic acid, 2-dodecenoic acid, and 9 octadecenamide produced by endophytic bacteria of Pseudomonas sp. Furthermore, the endophytic bacteria isolated from Anredera cordifolia leaves extract inhibits the growth of E. coli ATCC 35216 and S. aureus ATCC 29523. Meanwhile, the endophytic fungi from Anredera cordifolia leaves extract inhibite the growth of E.coli and S. aureus bacteria. Therefore, understanding the relationship between bacteria and endophytic fungi from the leaves extract of binahong (Anredera cordifolia (Ten.) Steenis) is essential. This knowledge can be utilized and applied well for the future production of higher quality and more medicinal plants from binahong plant (Anredera cordifolia (Ten.) Steenis).

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the ability level of Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) students of biology education at the Christian University of Indonesia. This research was a qualitative descriptive research. Data collection was carried out in two ways, namely by conducting a survey of respondents about pedagogic knowledge and content knowledge, then observing the learning implementation plan document which was assessed by two panelists. The population in this study were students of the Biology Education study program at the Christian University of Indonesia. The conclusion of this study was 1) The level of Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) ability of biology education students was sufficient in terms of the results of written tests regarding Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) knowledge, 2) Biology education students' Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) ability level entry into the criteria is sufficient in terms of the results of the observation of the learning implementation plan (RPP) document

Abstract

ABSTRACT The research conducted aims to examine the application of Cooperative Learning model type STAD combined with the Culture-Based Group Project in improving students high order thinking skills. This research was conducted in Biotechnology matery. The group projectreferred to in this study is a task which in group who makeproducts by conventional Biotechnology processed. This conventional Biotechnology product must be adapted to the culture of each student's region. This product is a colorful product and combined with typical food in the regional culture of each student.This research is a classroom action research. The design of this research uses a modification of the Kemmis & McTaggart model in 2 cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of Biology Education, Facultyof Teacher Training and Education at the Universitas Kristen Indonesia (UKI). The research instrument uses observation sheets and evaluation of learning outcomes that measure high-level thinking skills in the realm of C4 - C6. Data analysis techniques are conducted in qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive with a T. Test. The results showed that after the implementation of the Cooperative Learning model type STADcombined with a culture-based Group Project that the standard of success had reached greater than 75% and was complete. The results of the T test between the pretest and posttest cycle I and post-cycle one with posttest cycle II also showed a significance value of 0,000. These results state that if P <0.05, there are significant differences between pretest, posttest cycle 1, and posttest cycle2. Higher-order thinking skills from pretest to cycle 1 to cycle 2 experience improvement. Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Group Project, High order thinking skills ABSTRAK Penelitian yang dilakukan ini bertujuan untuk menguji penerapan model Cooperative Learning Tipe STAD dipadu dengan Group Project Berbasis Budaya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mata kuliah Bioteknologi. Grup project yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini adalah suatu tugas kelompok mahasiswa yang membuat produk olahan Bioteknologi konvensional. Produk Bioteknologi konvensional ini haruslah disesuaikan dengan budaya masing masing daerah asal mahasiswa. Produk ini adalah produk yang berwarna–warni dan dipadu dengan makanan khas yang ada di budaya daerah masing masing mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Desain penelitian ini menggunakan modifikasi model Kemmis & McTaggart dalam 2 siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan di Universitas Kristen Indonesia (UKI). Instrument penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi dan soal evaluasi hasil belajar yang mengukur kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dalam ranah C4 - C6. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan Uji T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah diterapkannya model Cooperative LearningTipe STAD dipadu dengan Group Project Berbasis budaya bahwa standar keberhasilan telah mencapai lebih besar dari 75% dan tuntas. Pada hasil uji T antara pretes dengan postes siklus I dan postes siklus satu dengan postes siklus II juga menunjukkan nilai signifikasi 0,000. Hasil tersebut menyatakan bahwa jika P<0,05, maka ada perbedaan nyata antara pretes, postes siklus 1, dan postes siklus2. Kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dari pretes ke siklus 1 sampai ke siklus 2 mengalamai peningkatan. Kata kunci: Cooperative Learning, Group Project, Kemampuan Berpikir Tingkat Tinggi

Abstract

Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan faktor internal belajar siswa Kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 37 Jakarta. Selain itu, untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar Biologi siswa selama pembelajaran daring. Selanjutnya, untuk menganalisis hubungan antara faktor internal belajar dan hasil belajar Biologi siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode survei yang dilaksanakan pada Juli-Oktober 2021. Sampel berjumlah 148 responden dari Kelas XI MIPA 1, XI MIPA 2, XI MIPA 3, dan XI MIPA 4. Data berupa faktor internal dan hasil belajar Biologi yang dianalisis secara statistika deskriptif dan statistika inferensial. Statistika inferensial menggunakan Uji Korelasi Rank Spearman karena data tidak berdistribusi normal. Faktor internal yang dominan di Kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 37 Jakarta secara berurutan adalah faktor kesehatan=faktor motivasi > faktor minat > faktor kebugaran > faktor bakat. Hasil belajar Biologi siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 37 Jakarta berada di atas KKM dengan skor rerata 76.13. Terdapat hubungan/korelasi positif antara faktor internal dan hasil belajar Biologi siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 37 Jakarta. Rendahnya nilai koefisien korelasi kemungkinan disebabkan oleh faktor lain di luar faktor internal belajar siswa.

Abstract

The sayur asem is one of the traditional Indonesian dishes, especially the Betawi ethnic group. This study aims to document the local knowledge of vegetable traders in the Kranggan Mas market, the diversity of plants used as an ingredient in sayur asem. The method used in this research was a survey. Data were analyzed qualitatively and descriptively. The sayur asem is a soup-like vegetable that has a sour taste with the main ingredients of melinjo (Gnetum gnemon) leaves and seeds and tamarind fruit (Tamarindus indica). The total of 13 species belonging 12 genera and 10 families used to process of making sayur asem. The part of used to process of making sayur asem is dominated by fruits (8 species), followed leaves and tubers (each 2 species). The melinjo (G. gnemon) is the main ingredient in the making of sayur asem, while Alphinia galanga, Syzygium polianthum and Tamarindus indica are the main spices with a larger volume. The main ingredients and seasonings used mostly have antioxidant and antimicrobial activity and are therefore very good at supporting digestive tract health and providing healthful effects.Keywords: Antioxidant, antimicrobial, gnetum gnemom, tamarindus indica

Abstract

The aims of this research include: 1) to describe the external factors of Class XI MIPA students at SMA Negeri 37 Jakarta; and 2) to analyze the relationship of students' external factors to the learning outcomes of Biology Class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 37 Jakarta. The survey method was used in this study. The questionnaire was given to 148 respondents and was declared valid. The dominant external factors in class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 37 Jakarta sequentially are family environment factors > school environmental factors = parental education environment = friends factor > community environmental factors = time factor. The value of student learning outcomes in class XI MIPA SMAN 37 is above the KKM with an average of 76.13. There is a positive relationship/correlation between external factors and Biology learning outcomes for students of class XI MIPA SMAN 37 Jakarta. The very low correlation coefficient may be caused by other external factors, including zoom fatigue, limited network/signal, and limited internet quota owned by students.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the application of online learning with the Project Based Learning (PBL) model on student learning outcomes. This research was classified as a quasi-experimental, with a sample of 36 students of class XI IPA 1 and IPA 2 at SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong as the control class and the experiment through purposive sampling technique. The results show that there is an increase in the value, where previously only 65.94 increased to 82.06. In addition, further ANOVA test was also carried out with sig. 0.023 0.05 which indicates that PBL learning has an effect where the PBL model is better than conventional learning, which shows that there is a difference in the average learning outcomes of control and experimental class students. This is because the advantages of PBL are able to construct and provide opportunities to convey, listen and reflect on ideas based on individual experiences in groups so that they are able to provide meaningful learning during online learning

Abstract

Kanker Payudara menjadi masalah yang sering menyerang wanita mulai dari umur remaja sampai lanjut usia. Cara pencegahan kanker payudara yang efektif adalah mengetahui gejala awal kanker payudara dengan Gerakan SADARI. Jika pengetahuan kanker payudara ini diberikan sejak dini dan upaya pencegahannya juga dipahami sejak dini, maka remaja terutama siswa SMA akan terhindar dari resiko kanker tersebut. PKM ini dilakukan untuk menambah pengetahuan siswa tentang kanker payudara dan memberikan pemahaman siswa bahwa lingkungan dapat dipakai untuk meningkatkan kesehatan guna melawan jika ada bibit kanker payudara yang ada di tubuh kita. Pemberian pengetahuan kanker ini dengan mengajak salah satu Yayasan kanker SRIKANDI. PKM ini melakukan dua kegiatan utama yaitu kegiatan seminar secara online atau webinar dengan mengundang seluruh sekolah SMA yang ada di Jakarta dan kegiatan kedua yaitu memberikan alat Kesehatan kepada para penyintas kanker melalui Yayasan kanker SRIKANDI. Hasil dari PKM ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat bahwa lingkungan merupakan hal utama yang dapat mempengaruhi kondisi psikologis seseorang. Lingkungan yang hijau dapat meningkatkan kondisi psikologis yang bahagia dan sehat. Kesehatan psikologis dapat mempengaruhi aktivitas imunitas tubuh. Semakin baik kondisi psikologis seseorang maka imunitasnya juga semakin baik. Semakin baik imunitas seseorang maka pertahanan seseorang terhadap bibit sel kanker payudara juga semakin baik. Maka perlu sekali peningkatan imunitas tubuh agar dapat terhindar dari penyakit kanker payudara. Kata Kunci:kenker, payudara, lingkungan, pencegahan
