Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah memberikan bimbingan Marlin test secara daring di masa pandemic COVID-19 ini guna meningkatkan kemampuan Bahasa Inggris Maritim bagi alumni Pelayaran yang berada di Kecamatan Bukit Batu. Adapun permasalahan yang dihadapi antara lain koneksi jaringan dari peserta bimbingan yang sering tidak bagus sehingga membuat bimbingan menjadi sedikit terhambat dan memakan waktu dalam proses pembelajarannya. Bimbingan ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 8 kali pertemuan Dan sebanyak 15 sempai dengan 24 orang peserta via aplikasi online baik itu secara oral Maupin berupa latihan dalam bentuk tulisan. Target Dari bimbingan ini adalah peserta bias menguasai materi-materi yang berhubungan dengan pelaksanaan tes Marlin yang juga bias dilaksanakan secara online sehingga sebgai calon pelaut mereka bias mendpatkan sertifikat Marlin yang dapat digunakan dalam pengembangan karir mereka di masa mendatang. Selama kegiatan ini didaptkan hasil akhir yang menunjukkan peningkatan dalam mengerjakan beberapa penilaian yang diberkan oleh para tutor

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of discipline and self-leadership on the performance of the Directorate of Shipping and Maritime employees. The research method used in this study is a survey with the type of correlational research. The results showed the value of the correlation coefficient between leadership style and employee performance amounted to 0.613, leadership style can contribute to improving employee performance that is 37.5%. Furthermore, the correlation coefficient between work discipline and employee performance is 0.710, meaning that work discipline also contributes high enough to improve employee performance by 50.4%. Furthermore, the results of correlation and multiple regression of leadership style, and work discipline together with employee performance obtained a large correlation coefficient of 0.759 or 57.6%. In conclusion, the three independent variables are leadership style (X1), and work discipline (X2), which are variables that need attention. In other words, that the three independent variables are leadership style (X1), and work discipline (X2) are variables that are effective enough to improve employee performance. Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the process of online learning in this pandemic as well as effective and optimal for students’ online learning. The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic forced many universities to apply online learning. The design of this research is descriptive qualitative research. The data has collected by using observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Hopefully, this study will find which one is the most interesting online learning way by the lecturers to teach especially at the third semester students of Maritime Department, Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis. There are WhatsApp Group, Zoom, Google Meet and Google Classroom that the lecturers always use at this department. The study will suggest for students in online learning and the development of other media to implement effective online lectures that other researchers expose the solution to get more experience.Keywords: Students, Responses, Learning, Pandemic

Abstract

The AX BOW type catamaran is a ship that is used specifically for recreational purposes between Beting Aceh Island, which has two hulls or catamarans. This design aims to obtain data on ax bow type catamaran tourism boats that are suitable for the Aceh shoal island. This design is intended to see a good performance of resistance, stability, weight, and cost calculations. In this study, the authors analyzed the investment feasibility of the AX Bow catamaran, the main size of the ship, L = 12.20 m, B = 4.089 m, H = 1.48 m, T = 0.62 m, then the process of designing a landing craft boat using Maxurft Modeler Advance. The results of the investment feasibility analysis are declared feasible because the Net Present Value is 0.11% and Profitability Index > 0.11 with a break even point in 3 years of operation and an interest rate of 12% per year on capital loans. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the factors that influence work discipline and self-leadership on the performance of employees at PT. Buana Listya Tama Tbk (Company), in encouraging the growing interest of all employees and leaders to carry it out in their respective fields of work, so that everyone in the company feels involved with the company's organizational culture. The research method used is a survey applying the type of correlational research. The results of the proposed research prove that the variables of leadership style (X1), work discipline (X2), both individually and collectively have a positive and significant relationship with employee performance (Y). In conclusion, the three independent variables of leadership style (X1) and work discipline (X2) are variables that need attention. In other words, that the three independent variables of leadership style (X1) and work discipline (X2) are quite effective variables for improving employee performance.
