Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah memberikan bimbingan Marlin test secara daring di masa pandemic COVID-19 ini guna meningkatkan kemampuan Bahasa Inggris Maritim bagi alumni Pelayaran yang berada di Kecamatan Bukit Batu. Adapun permasalahan yang dihadapi antara lain koneksi jaringan dari peserta bimbingan yang sering tidak bagus sehingga membuat bimbingan menjadi sedikit terhambat dan memakan waktu dalam proses pembelajarannya. Bimbingan ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 8 kali pertemuan Dan sebanyak 15 sempai dengan 24 orang peserta via aplikasi online baik itu secara oral Maupin berupa latihan dalam bentuk tulisan. Target Dari bimbingan ini adalah peserta bias menguasai materi-materi yang berhubungan dengan pelaksanaan tes Marlin yang juga bias dilaksanakan secara online sehingga sebgai calon pelaut mereka bias mendpatkan sertifikat Marlin yang dapat digunakan dalam pengembangan karir mereka di masa mendatang. Selama kegiatan ini didaptkan hasil akhir yang menunjukkan peningkatan dalam mengerjakan beberapa penilaian yang diberkan oleh para tutor

Abstract

The axe bow type catamaran is a ship used specifically for recreational purposes between Beting Island Aceh, which has two hulls (catamarans). This analysis aims to see a more reductive resistance value that can be used in the Beting Island Aceh  (Rupat) waters. To get the main size of the ship, namely the parent design approach method, which is to find data on the main ship and the same displacement to analyze the value of the ship's resistance. The main data of the ship, namely, LOA=12.20 m, B=4.089 m, H=1.48 m, T=0.62 m, ∆=7.243 tons. The resistance value of the axe bow type catamaran is smaller than the non-axe bow type catamaran, with a difference of 5.92%. Based on the results of running, the engine power of the axe bow type catamaran is 227 HP, while the non-axe bow type catamaran is 241 HP. Catamaran tipe axe bow adalah kapal yang digunakan khusus untuk rekreasi antar Pulau Beting Aceh yang memiliki dua lambung (catamaran). Analisis ini bertujuan untuk melihat nilai resistansi yang lebih reduktif yang dapat digunakan di perairan Pulau Aceh Beting (Rupat). Ukuran utama kapal diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode parent design approach, mencari data kapal induk dan displacement yang sama untuk menganalisa nilai hambatan kapal. Dan didapatkan data utama kapal yaitu LOA=12,20 m, B=4,089 m, H=1,48 m, T=0,62 m, =7.243 ton. Nilai hambatan kapal katamaran tipe axe bow lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan kapal katamaran tipe non axe bow dengan selisih sebesar 5,92%. Berdasarkan hasil running, tenaga mesin catamaran tipe axe bow adalah 227 HP, sedangkan catamaran tipe non axe bow adalah 241 HP.

Abstract

Kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak sangat diperlukan oleh Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis untuk dapat meningkatkan kapabilitas kelembagaan perguruan tinggi dalam mewujudkan link and match antara pendidikan vokasi dan dunia industri. Kesepakatan yang dituangkan dalam dokumen perjanjian kerjasama yang menjadi dasar implementasi kerjasama harus diarsipkan dan dikelola dengan baik. Pengelolaan kerjasama pada bidang Humas tidak terlepas dari pembuatan, pengajuan dan pengarsipan bukti kerjasama (MoU). Saat ini, data dan informasi yang berhubungan dengan kerjasama pihak eksternal di Jurusan Kemaritiman Polteknik Negeri Bengkalis masih diproses dan disimpan dengan pengarsipan manual, dimana semua MoU dan bukti kerjasama lainnya disimpan di folder dan lemari arsip. Sementara pendataan partner juga hanya tercatat pada Laporan Kerjasama yang dihasilkan setiap periodenya saja. Hal ini menyebabkan kesulitan dalam pengelolaan kerjasama yang dirasakan oleh Humas. Terutama dalam mengarsip MoU, mencari MoU, ataupun mendata dan mengetahui kerjasama-kerjasama yang masih berjalan maupun yang telah habis masa berlakunya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini ditujukan untuk membangun sebuah sistem informasi terkomputerisasi yang dapat membantu pencatatan, pengarsipan, dan penyediaan informasi yang berhubungan dengan kerjasama bagi Humas Polteknik Negeri Bengkalis. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tahapan-tahapan: pengumpulan data, studi literatur, analisa dan perancangan sistem, pembuatan program, dan tahapan implementasi/pengujian. Data Flow Diagram (DFD) digunakan sebagai tools perancangan alur sistem dan Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) untuk perancangan konsep datanya. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah Sistem Informasi Pengelolaan Kerjasama Bidang Humas yang dapat membantu mencatat seluruh data partner, data kerjasama yang telah dilakukan, informasi masa berlaku kerjasama, dan pengarsipan MoU secara terkomputerisasi sistem elektrnik. Dengan sistem yang dibuat diharapkan dapat membantu mempermudah pekerjaan bidang Humas Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis khususnya Jurusan Kematitiman Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis dan meningkatkan kualitas kerjasama dengan pihak industri, perguruan tinggi dan pemerintah

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of discipline and self-leadership on the performance of the Directorate of Shipping and Maritime employees. The research method used in this study is a survey with the type of correlational research. The results showed the value of the correlation coefficient between leadership style and employee performance amounted to 0.613, leadership style can contribute to improving employee performance that is 37.5%. Furthermore, the correlation coefficient between work discipline and employee performance is 0.710, meaning that work discipline also contributes high enough to improve employee performance by 50.4%. Furthermore, the results of correlation and multiple regression of leadership style, and work discipline together with employee performance obtained a large correlation coefficient of 0.759 or 57.6%. In conclusion, the three independent variables are leadership style (X1), and work discipline (X2), which are variables that need attention. In other words, that the three independent variables are leadership style (X1), and work discipline (X2) are variables that are effective enough to improve employee performance. Abstract

The AX BOW type catamaran is a ship that is used specifically for recreational purposes between Beting Aceh Island, which has two hulls or catamarans. This design aims to obtain data on ax bow type catamaran tourism boats that are suitable for the Aceh shoal island. This design is intended to see a good performance of resistance, stability, weight, and cost calculations. In this study, the authors analyzed the investment feasibility of the AX Bow catamaran, the main size of the ship, L = 12.20 m, B = 4.089 m, H = 1.48 m, T = 0.62 m, then the process of designing a landing craft boat using Maxurft Modeler Advance. The results of the investment feasibility analysis are declared feasible because the Net Present Value is 0.11% and Profitability Index > 0.11 with a break even point in 3 years of operation and an interest rate of 12% per year on capital loans. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to create a basic application of Maritime English that is useful in supporting learning and improving the skills of Maritime English cadets at Maritime Department especially for nautical program. Maritime English is one of the English language learning with a special purpose that is indispensable in communicating, maintaining safety and activities at sea both nationally and especially internationally. The research problem is many seafarers do not understand maritime terms, either in their daily conversations at sea, from ship to ship or ship to shore station, whether it's about health, safety, or security issues in the shipping industry. In this millennial era, it is very rare for sailors to read books to increase their knowledge because they tend to be boring and unpleasant. Therefore, as a basic step in the maritime department, researchers created an android-based application consisting of vocabulary and pictures about maritime English to increase interest in learning Maritime English. There are lots of English apps but not much about sailing. Therefore, with the proliferation of android-based gadgets, as the result, the researcher was successful find an application as a solution to support students or cadets as a basic learning in Maritime English.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the factors that influence work discipline and self-leadership on the performance of employees at PT. Buana Listya Tama Tbk (Company), in encouraging the growing interest of all employees and leaders to carry it out in their respective fields of work, so that everyone in the company feels involved with the company's organizational culture. The research method used is a survey applying the type of correlational research. The results of the proposed research prove that the variables of leadership style (X1), work discipline (X2), both individually and collectively have a positive and significant relationship with employee performance (Y). In conclusion, the three independent variables of leadership style (X1) and work discipline (X2) are variables that need attention. In other words, that the three independent variables of leadership style (X1) and work discipline (X2) are quite effective variables for improving employee performance.
