Abstract

This reserach was conducted to determine the influence of organizational behavior and commitment towards lecturers’ performance at private universities in Jakarta. The method used in this research is the survey method. The samples in this research were 90 lecturers of private universities who were selected randomly. The technique used to analyze the obtained data was a path analysis by employing SPSS program. The results indicated that: (1) there was influence of organizational behavior towards the lecturers’ performance, (2) there was influence of commitment towards the lecturers’ performance, (3) there was influence of organizational behavior and commitment simultaneously towards the lecturers’ performance.Keywords: organizational behavior, commitment, lecturer performance

Abstract

Indonesia sebagai salah satu negara kepulauan, telah meratifikasi UNCLOS/ United Nations Convention On The Law Of The Sea dengan UU Nomor 17 tahun 1985 sebagai kelanjutan perwujudan dari konsep Doktrin Wawasan Nusantara yang merupakan satu kesatuan terhadap tanah, daratan dan perairan. Namun dalam hal ini masih ada masalah yang timbul di antaranya adalah masalah alur laut kepulauan yang diatur oleh IMO/ International Maritime Organization dan masalah yurisdiksi dari International Tribunal yang menurutnya overlapping dengan yurisdiksi International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)Council. Hal ini semata-mata berkaitan dengan “Penafsiran hak lintas Udara”.

Abstract

The  purpose  of this study was to determine the  influence  of work  attitude and motivation  on employees  pefonnance  at PT Kinanty  Patopang.  The subject of this research  were  50  employees.  By using 5  Likert Scale.  The frame work of this research was  based   on  that  work  attitude  (X1)   and  work  motivation   (X2)   had  influence  of employees  performance  (Y). The work attitude  was  measured  bay 30  items  question, work motivation  was measured  bay 31 items question, and employees  performance was measured  with 39 items question/statement.   Data analysis  used  in this research was a multiple  regression   to  analyzed  data.  Obtained  data  then  were  examined  with  SPSS17.0 version.  From the research  it can concluded  that:  (I) there  was influence of work attitude  toward  employees  performance; (2)   there  was  influence of work  motivation toward    employees   performance, (3)  there  was  influence of work  attitude  and  work motivation  simultaneously toward  employees  performance of  PT.  Kinanty Patopang.

Abstract

Pengakuan internasional terhadap prinsip-prinsip Negara kepulauan yang sekian lama diperjuangkan oleh Bangsa Indonesia, telah menjadi kenyataan dengan disepakatinya hukum laut Internasional "United Nations Convention On The Law Of The Sea" (UNCLOS 1982), yang ditandatangani oleh 117 negara pada tanggal 10 Desember 1982, berarti suatu negara yang seluruhnya terdiri dari satu atau lebih kepulauan dan dapat mencakup beberapa pulau. 'Kepulauan" berarti suatu gugusan pulau , termasuk bagian pulau, perairan di antaranya dan wujud alamiah yang hubungan satu sama lain demikian aratnya, sehingga pulau-pulau , perairan di antaranya dan wujud alamiah yang hubungan satu sama lain demikian eratnya, sehingga pulau-pulau, perairan dan wujud alamiah tersebut, merupakan suatu kesatuan geografi, ekonomi dan politik yang hakiki. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan dan komitmen mahasiswa terhadap motivasi berprestasi di PTS Jakarta. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 80 mahasiswa. Kerangka penelitian mengacu pada apakah kualitas pelayanan dan komitmen memunyai pengaruh terhadap motivasi berprestasi yang diukur lewat angket. Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas 25 butir pertanyaan untuk kualitas pelayanan, 26 butir komitmen, dan 29 butir motivasi berprestasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi, analisis regresi ganda, dan koefisien jalur dengan bantuan SPSS versi 17.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh dari kualitas pelayanan terhadap motivasi berprestasi; (2) terdapat pengaruh dari komitmen terhadap motivasi berprestasi; (3) terdapat pengaruh kualitas pelayanan dan komitmen secara bersama-sama terhadap motivasi berprestasi mahasiswa PTS Jakarta. Kata Kunci: kualitas pelayanan, komitmen, motivasi berprestasi THE INFLUENCE OF SERVICE QUALITY AND STUDENT COMMITMENT ON ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION AT PRIVATE UNIVERSITY Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of service quality and commitment on achievement motivation at Private University in Jakarta. The subject of this research were 80 students, by using 5 Likert Scale. Abstract

As stated in the preamble of the 1945 Constitution, the goal of our states is to form a government of the state of Indonesia which shall protect all the Indonesian people and the entire country, promote the general welfare, the intellectual life of the nation and participate in the establishment of world peace. This understanding is based on the need of clean government and to accommodate the principles of good governance. Currently, our government has not been fully able to protect and carry out its functions as mandated by the 1945 opening which is stated above . This is consistent with the results of research on Indonesia which governance has not improved significantly and has not been consistent after 15 years of reform. The data is processed by comparing the implementation of data governance at the beginning of the reforming process (1996/1998) and the 2009-2014 strategic plan (drawn from the data transparency of Worldwide Governance Indicators Projects 2010 and Kompas May 20, 2013).

Abstract

United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea 1982 (UNCLOS) was formed at 10 December 1982. Archipelagic State (Article 46) means a state constituted wholly by one or more archipelagos and may include other islands. Article 53, paragraph (2) UNCLOS 1982, stated: “all ships and aircraft enjoy the right of archipelagic sea lines passage in such sea lines and air routes”. However, this article could cause overlapping in applications, because ICAO already states all air areas in flight routes (ATS). In another article, the right of archipelagic sea lines passage, especially for military aircraft regarding the necessity to get permission from Archipelagic State, has been perceived differently by every states. This research with the grounded theory methode, involves expert respondents to see and synchronize few aspects or articles. Findings from this research are to complete the sentence of “all ships and aircraft enjoy the right of archipelagic sea lines passage .... “, with the understanding that all aircraft can provide overflight on archipelagic sea lines air area, which determined as an ATS route according to ICAO rules. Every military aircraft which uses the ATS route should have permission from Archipelagic State Goverment.
