Abstract

Kurikulum 2013 juga mengamanatkan penilaian hasil belajar peserta didik harus dilaksanankan secara autentik. Penilaian autentik menuntut guru agar dapat mengamati perkembangan peserta didik pada semua aspek perkembangan. Oleh karena mengikuti perkembangan dunia pendidikan, kemampuan peserta didik yang perlu diketahui oleh pendidik tidak hanya terkait kognitif tetapi juga afektif dan psikomotor. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan mengenai penyusunan instrumen penilaian bentuk non tes, dan memberikan pelatihan bagaimana cara menganalisis butir soal dengan menggunakan salah satu program analisis butir soal. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam bingkai pelatihan dan pendampingan saat guru mengembangkan instrumen penilaian. Kata kunci : pengembangan instrumen, penilaian autentik, kurikulum 2013.

Abstract

Mahasiswa memiliki gaya belajar yang berbeda antara satu dengan yang lain meskipun kemungkinan ada yang memiliki gaya belajar sama. Mahasiswa termasuk sebagai peserta didik pada jenjang pendidikan tinggi. Mata kuliah Ilmu Lingkungan membutuhkan banyak pembelajaran secara kontekstual, pengayaan, diskusi dan studi kasus di lingkungan sehingga diselenggarakan secara blended learning. Blended learning akan efektif jika pengajar mengetahui gaya belajar mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, perlu diketahui gaya belajar mahasiswa untuk keefektifan kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei. Responden adalah mahasiswa yang menempuh mata kuliah Ilmu Lingkungan. Data yang diperoleh adalah data kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket tertutup. Data dianalisis menggunakan persentase. Hasil studi menunjukkan mahasiswa peserta mata kuliah Ilmu Lingkungan memiliki gaya belajar auditif-visual sebanyak 61,1%, kemudian diikuti oleh gaya belajar visual, visual-kinestetik, auditif-kinestetik, auditif, dan kinestetik. Pembelajaran secara blended (blended learning) dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif guna memfasilitasi gaya belajar mahasiswa yang beragam. Sebanyak 71,1% dari mahasiswa menggunakan internet sebagai sumber belajarnya dan sebanyak 91,2% mahasiswa mengakses internet melalui smartphone. Kebiasaan mahasiswa menggunakan internet melalui smartphone mendukung dalam kegiatan pembelajaran secara blended yang dilakukan.Students have different learning styles from one another even though there may be those who have the same learning style. Environmental Science Subject require a lot of contextual learning, enrichment, discussion and case studies in the environment so that blended learning is held. Blended learning will be effective if the teacher knows the students learning style. Therefore, it is necessary to know the learning styles of students for the effectiveness of learning activities undertaken. The study method was a survey. Respondents were students who take Environmental Science Subject. The data obtained was quantitative data. The instrument used was a closed questionnaire. Data were analyzed using percentages. The study results showed that students participating in the Environmental Sciences Subject had the auditive-visual learning style with a percentage of 61.1%, then followed by the visual, visual-kinesthetic, auditive-kinesthetic, auditive, and kinesthetic learning styles. Blended learning can be one alternative to facilitate the diverse student learning styles. As many as 71.1% of students used the internet as a source of learning and as many as 91.2% of students accessed the internet through smartphones. The students' habit of using the internet through smartphones supported the blended learning activities.

Abstract

Program kebijakan pemerintah terkait dengan profesionalitas guru saat ini tengah digalakkan melalui program Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG). Dalam kurun waktu pelaksanaan PPG tersebut, belum diketahui secara jelas terkait pandangan mahasiswa yang saat ini berkuliah di program studi kependidikan, terutama pendidikan biologi FKIP UAD, terkait program PPG. Pengetahuan akan persepsi mahasiswa diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu informasi yang berguna bagi keselarasan antara program studi kependidikan dengan program PPG. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pandangan mahasiswa angkatan 2015 yang merupakan mahasiswa semester VIII) Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP UAD terkait dengan program PPG. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan simpulan. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket terbuka dan wawancara kepada responden. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 42 mahasiswa angkatan 2015 Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP UAD yang dipilih secara acak. Dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa 100% mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Biologi angkatan 2015 mengetahui adanya program PPG. 93% mahasiswa mengetahui informasi tentang PPG saat mereka duduk di bangku kuliah, sedangkan 7% mengetahui saat masih di bangku SMA. Mahasiswa mengetahui adanya program PPG ini dari beberapa sumber. Pengetahuan mahasiswa angkatan 2015 terkait sasaran, manfaat, dan pelaksanaan program PPG bervariasi. 71,43% mahasiswa mengaku tertarik untuk mengikuti program PPG, sedangkan 28,57% tidak tertarik. Mahasiswa yang tidak berminat untuk mengikuti PPG menyampaikan alasan bahwa mereka lebih memilih untuk langsung melanjutkan ke jenjang S2 atau langsung bekerja. Alasan lain adalah lantaraan merasa belum diwajibkan untuk mengikuti program PPG, serta adapula yang dikarenakan belum ingin menjadi guru. Terkait saran mahasiswa terhadap pelaksanaan program PPG cukup bervariasi.Government policy programs related to teacher professionalism are currently being promoted through the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program. During the PPG implementation period, it was not clear what the views of students currently studying in educational study programs, especially biology education at FKIP UAD, related to the PPG program were. Knowledge of student perceptions is expected to be one of the useful information for alignment between educational study programs and PPG programs. This study aims to determine the views of 2015 students who are semester VIII students of the Biology Education Study Program, FKIP UAD related to the PPG program. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data obtained in this study is qualitative data. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively using data reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data were collected through open questionnaires and interviews with respondents. Respondents in this study were 42 students of the 2015 Biology Education Study Program, FKIP UAD who were randomly selected. From this research, it is known that 100% of students of the 2015 Biology Education Study Program are aware of the PPG program. 93% of students know information about PPG when they are in college, while 7% know when they are still in high school. Students know about this PPG program from several sources. The knowledge of the 2015 students regarding the objectives, benefits, and implementation of the PPG program varies. 71.43% of students claimed to be interested in joining the PPG program, while 28.57% were not. Students who are not interested in participating in PPG convey the reason that they prefer to directly continue to the Masters level or go straight to work. Another reason is because they feel they are not obliged to join the PPG program, and some are because they don't want to become a teacher. Regarding student suggestions for the implementation of the PPG program, it is quite varied.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are still a benchmark of learning success, with good learning outcomes signifying mastery of knowledge that can be implemented in life. Students require to be accustomed to reading before beginning learning, to be able to manage information from learning resources.. This study aims to study the Remap-RT learning model to improve student learning outcomes by looking at the results of pretest and posttest students of class VIII E Muhammadiyah 2 Kalasan. The method used in this research is CAR (Classroom Action Research). The subject in this study was a student at VIII E of SMP Muhammadiyah 2. Data obtained by using the test twice in both cycle, cycle I and cycle II. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest the average value of class VIII E in the last cycle is higher than the first cycle. Based on these findings it can be concluded that there is an improvement in the learning process and differences in student learning outcomes using the Remap-RT learning model.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes in learning in class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Yogyakarta is still low. Factors causing low learning outcomes include not using any learning model and still being teacher-centered. This study aimed to determine the effect of Discovery learning learning models on student learning outcomes in the digestive system material class VIII at SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Yogyakarta. This type of research is a quasi-experiment. This study's population were all VIII grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Yogyakarta consisting of five classes, namely classes A, B, C, D, and E, with 140 students. In this study, purposive sampling was conducted based on certain considerations so that 2 class samples were obtained, namely class VIII C as the control class and VIII E as the experimental class. Data collection techniques with tests. Data collection instruments were in the form of pretest and posttest questions. The analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative. Research Results Learning outcomes were analyzed by t-test statistics at the level of significance 5% obtained t-count 0.302 and t-table = 2.01063, so t-count < t-table. Therefore, the Discovery learning model does not affect the learning outcomes of VIII grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Utilizing the environment as the learning resource can enhance learning activities, but on biodiversity material, teachers have not been able to apply this system on teaching and learning activities. This study aims to determine the level of diversity of Bivalves in the intertidal zone and to analyze the requirements of learning resources. The type of this study is a literature study, which is designed in a narrative review. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results showed that the Bivalve diversity index belonged to different categories, namely low, medium to high. Based on the analysis of the requirements for learning resources for biology, the results of the study have met the requirements as a source for learning Biology in class X on biodiversity material.

Abstract

Learning difficulties could be caused by inside and outside factors of human beings. Learning difficulties could affect student learning success. Learning difficulties should have known from the beginning so that it can be anticipated by educators and learners through the efforts of diagnosis. The aim of this study is to determine the lecture material that is difficult to understand by the students, factors that cause learning disabilities in students, the percentage of students learning difficulties of external factors on Learner development studies. This research is a qualitative descriptive. Qualitative data that obtained to be described to give the real condition. Quantitative data of test results during the middle of the first and the second half used to assist data reduction. The analysis used to adapt from qualitative research, those are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing a conclusion. These results indicate that the material considered the most difficult by the students are the implications of the growth and development of learners. Learning difficulties during learner development studies caused by internal factors such as the physical condition, motivation to learn, how to learn, and social relationships. There are three difficulties external factors affect students learning such as teaching methods, resources and learning materials, lecture hours.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan panduan pembelajaran yang layak digunakan sebagai alternatif sumber belajar biologi di tinjau dari aspek materi/isi, penyajian, kebahasaan, dan kegrafisan; (2) mengetahui keefektifan panduan dalam memunculkan karakter positif peserta didik (bersahabat/komunikatif, tanggung jawab, dan peduli lingkungan) selama kegiatan; dan (3) mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman peserta didik pada materi keanekaragaman lichen dan tumbuhan paku serta lingkungannya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model 4D (define, design, develop, disseminate). Data hasil penilaian panduan, keterlaksanaan kegiatan, dan kemunculan indikator karakter peserta didik dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Saran pengembangan produk dan saran untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Data skor pemahaman dinalaisis dengan teknik gain score. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) panduan belajar layak digunakan sebagai alternatif sumber belajar biologi ditinjau dari aspek materi/isi, penyajian, kebahasaan, dan kegrafisan; (2) panduan belajar secara efektif memunculkan karakter peserta didik (bersahabat/komunikatif, tanggung jawab, dan peduli lingkungan) selama berkegiatan; dan (3) panduan belajar dapat meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik pada materi keanekaragaman lichen dan tumbuhan paku serta lingkungannya. Kata kunci: panduan, edutourism   DEVELOPING EDUTOURISM GUIDES HUTAN WISATA TLOGO NIRMOLO TO ACTUALIZE STUDENT CHARACTER OF GRADE X Abstract This study aims to: (1) developing a suitable learning guides which used as an alternative source of learning biology in terms of the material/content, presentation, linguistic, and graphics components; (2) determine the effectiveness of the guides in eliciting positive behavior of students (friendly/communicative, responsibility, and care for the environment) during activities; and (3) determine student’s improvement understanding of diversity of lichen and ferns as well as the environment. This study is a research and development with the 4D model (define, design, develop, disseminate). Data assessment the guides, activities enforceability, and the actualization of a character indicator learners analyzed quantitatively. Product development advice and suggestions for the implementation of analyzed qualitatively. The results show that: (1) the learning guides was considered very good in terms of material/content, presentation, linguistics, and graphics components; (2) during the activities, learners could actualize character of friendly/communicative, responsible, and care for the environment very positively; and (3) the learning guides could improve learner’s understanding of biodiversity of lichen and fern as well as its surroundings. Abstract

Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) provide many benefits and promote public debate regarding their safety and risks. Currently, there is a lack of research that specifically focuses on biology teacher candidates’ knowledge and attitude towards GMOs. This study aimed to explore the knowledge and attitude of biology teacher candidate students towards GMOs. The data was collected through an online questionnaire distributed. The data scores of knowledge and attitude were analyzed using an independent sample t-test to analyze the effect of the genetic course on the knowledge and attitude of biology teacher candidate students towards GMOs. A Pearson correlation was used to determine the correlation between teacher candidates' knowledge and attitudes towards GMOs. As a result, genetic courses do not significantly affect the knowledge or attitude of biology teacher candidate students towards GMOs. There was a positive correlation between knowledge and attitude of biology teacher candidate students towards GMOs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan LKPD mobile learning berbasis android dengan Problem Based Learning (PBL) sebagai bahan ajar dan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model Design and Development Research dari Peffers. Penelitian ini memiliki enam tahapan yaitu: 1) identify the problem; 2) describe the objectives; 3) design and develop the artifact; 4) test the artifact; 5) evaluate testing result; and 6) communicate the testing results. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Playen dan SMA Negeri 1 Semin tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket kelayakan LKPD mobile learning berbasis PBL. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa LKPD mobile learning berbasis android dengan PBL layak digunakan pada materi perubahan lingkungan yang dikembangkan ditinjau dari aspek pembelajaran Biologi (aspek didaktik, konstruksi dan teknis), aspek materi (kelayakan materi dan keakuratan materi, penyajian materi, relevansi fakta dengan konsep, serta kebahasaan), dan aspek media (kualitas tampilan dan bahasa, kemudahan proses instalasi, kemudahan pengoperasian, kehandalan, kualitas ilustrasi (gambar, video atau animasi) dan kemudahan penggunaan).
