Abstract

Ability of swimming 50 meters breaststroke swimming subjects specializing in FIK UNP coaching is the background of research problems. This study aims to determine the effect of interval squat thrust training and circuit training exercises on swimming speed of 50 meters breaststroke. Type of experimental research, two groups pretest-posttest. The population of swimming students specializing in FIK UNP training is 26 people, 21 men and 5 women. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique, which is 18 men. Data collection by carrying out the initial test and final test swimming speed of 50 meters breaststroke. The data analysis technique uses the mean different test formula (t test) significant level α = 0.05. From the analysis of the data the results are obtained: there is a significant effect of interval squat thrust training on swimming speed of 50 meters breaststroke (12.94 th> tb.86) from mean 62.32 to 58.99 seconds. There is a significant effect of circuit training exercises on swimming speed of 50 meters breaststroke (11.03 th> 1.86) from mean 63.96 to 59.61 seconds. There was no significant difference between squat thrust training at intervals with circuit training with swimming speed of 50 meters breaststroke (th 0.1206 <tb 1.86).

Abstract

The problem in this study is the lack ofability of three point shoot the male athlete Dharma Muda Dharmasraya. The variables in this study wereexercise plyometrics and the ability of the three point shoot. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect oftraining plyometrics on the improvement of theability of three point shoot male athletes Dharma Muda Dharmasraya. This type of research is a pre-experiment which aims to see the effect oftraining plyometrics on improving the ability of three point shoots. The population in this study were all male basketball athletes, Dharma Muda Dharmasraya, totaling 17 people. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique, namely male athletes Dharma Muda Dharmasraya as many as 10 people. To obtain research data, theability test was used three point shoot. The data obtained were analyzed by using the t test. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known thattraining plyometrics has a significant effect on the improvement of theability three point shoot. Where theaverage of pre-test theability three point shoot was 16.1 while the post test increased to 22.8. Then obtained the mean difference test (t test) of tcount 10.30 while ttable 2.26 with a significant level α = 0.05 and n = 10, then tcount > ttable (10.30> 2.26), it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the form oftraining plyometrics on the improvement of theability of three point shoot the male athlete Dharma Muda Dharmasraya.

Abstract

The ability to carry a basketball (dribbling) is often considered a major ability in the success of playing basketball. Therefore, many coaches encourage practice by mastering a player's basketball dribbling. The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of ball handling exercises or ballhandling on basketball playing skills. This research comes from the problem which is to determine the effect of ballhandling practice on dribbling ability. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental. With a sample of 28 people consisting of sports students. The results of this study were described using statistical analysis to determine the difference between pre and posttest. The results of the study stated that the average N-gain score for the research group was 5.8994 or 5.8%, which was included in the ineffective category with a minimum score of 0% and a maximum of 13.64%. These results confirm that the ballhandling training method is still not an important factor in assessing dribbling playing basketball. From the results of the analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that by using a ballhandling training program, it can still not increase and improve basketball dribbling skills. Moreover, a success in playing basketball is not only determined by the factor of dribbling ability, but there are many factors that influence it.

Abstract

Kondisi fisik berpengaruh besar terhadap kemampuan Teknik ketika kondisi fisik telah menurun maka teknik yang dimiliki tidak dapat berjalan dengan maksimal. Komponen kondisi fisik menjadi perhatian khusus utama sekali pada kecepatan dan kelincahan. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memberikan dua penjelasan instrument tes sprint 100meter dan T-Test. Pada pelaksanaannya pelatih dan atlet menjadi sumber data dengan peserta berjumlah 286 orang dan pelatih 20 orang. Hasil dari pelaksanaan pemberian tes dinyatakan 95% atlet memahami pelaksanaan tes kecepatan sprint 30meter dan t-test, sehingga dapat disimpulkan pelaksanaan tes kecepatan dan kelincahan dapat diterapkan atlet dengan baik. Untuk menjadi rekomendasi penting daripada seluruh pelatih pada saat start tes sprint menggunakan start melayang dan untuk aba-aba gunakan bendera. Pada tes kelincahan t-test perlu diperhatikan atlet menyentuh ujung marka/cone
