Abstract

Informatics is one of the study programs at STIKI Malang which has quite large student data both data on active students and students who have graduated. Every year students who graduate on time are far less than new students, which will affect the quality of students and also influence to the accreditation of STIKI Malang. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to make an application to predict the duration of study and the predicate of student graduation by applying supervised learning techniques. Output predictions for the period of study are on time, late, or not graduated and output for predicate are summa cum laude, cum laude, very satisfying, or satisfying. The application method used in supervised learning for prediction is a Naïve Bayes algorithm. This is used to analyze data, especially in the pattern recognition process, predicting the period of study and the predicate of graduation. Before entering the calculation phase of the Naive Bayes algorithm, the Correlation Feature Selection is used to select relevant features that function to improve the accuracy of the system. The results of the study based on 10 Fold Cross Validation testing indicate that the application can be used to assist informatics study programs in order to find strategic information related to the duration of study and the predicate of student graduation with an accuracy of 77.19% and 87.65%.Keywords: Prediction, Naïve Bayes, Study Periods, Correlation Feature Selection, 10 Fold Cross Validation

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to build a decision support model for prospective students in choosing undergraduate programs at state universities after they accomplished their high school. There are more than 800 undergraduate programs from science and technology departments from 40 state universities in Indonesia. In this research, we use the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (F-AHP) to model a decision. This method is chosen because able to make comparisons between criteria more complex than other DSS (Decision Support System) methods. For the criteria used in this research is computer-based test result, student capacity in 2019 and the people who interest in those majors in 2018. The main result of this research is a ranking of science and technology departments at 40 state universities in Indonesia. The results of this research are expected to be able to assist students in choosing majors that will be taken after graduation in their school. In addition, the method of this research can also be continued in subsequent researches that are similar (theoretically). Whereas practically, this method can be implemented every year using different data.

Abstract

The main requirement for graduation from students is to make a final scientific paper. One of the factors determining the quality of a student's scientific work is the uniqueness and innovation of the work. This research aims to apply data mining methods to detect similarities in titles, abstracts, or topics of students' final scientific papers so that plagiarism does not occur. In this research, the cosine similarity method is combined with the preprocessing method and TF-IDF to calculate the level of similarity between the title and the abstract of a student's final scientific paper, then the results will be displayed and compared with the existing final project repository based on the threshold value to make a decision whether scientific work can be accepted or rejected. Based on the test data and training data that has been applied to the TF-IDF method, it shows that the percentage level of similarity between the training data document and the test data document is 8%. This shows that the student thesis is still classified as unique and does not contain plagiarism content. The findings of this study can help the university in managing the administration of student theses so that plagiarism does not occur. Furthermore, it is necessary to study further adding methods to increase the accuracy of system performance so that when the process is run the system will work faster and optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to build an aquaponics automation tool to simplify the control of fish and vegetable cultivation. The objects that were taken in this study were nile tilapia and choy sum. In this study, testing was carried out in an aquarium and hydroponic pipe to control nutrition, water turbidity, light, pH, feed, and temperature. The main tools used to build this automation include Arduino ESP-32, GY-302 Ambient Light Intensity Sensor, DFRobot Gravity Analog pH Sensor, DS18B20 temperature sensor, 3-6V DC R140 DC motor, Relay Module6 Chanel 12V, RTC Module. DS130 and SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor. After the system testing process, it can be concluded that this tool can support the process of cultivating nile tilapia and choy sum properly and make it easier for farmers to monitor aquaponics.

Abstract

Abstrak: Perkembangan industri Game pada saat ini sangat pesat dengan berbagai macam teknologi yang digunakan. Salah satu teknologi Game yang terkenal beberapa tahun belakangan ini adalah Virtual Reality. Virtual Reality sendiri adalah teknologi yang memungkinkan penggunanya merasakan secara lansung tampilan dunia maya (virtual) dengan memanfaat indra penglihatan. Game ID Card Puzzle memanfaatkan teknologi ini dalam implementasinya. ID Card Puzzle termasuk dalam kategori (genre) puzzle. Konten yang digunakan dalam Game ini merupakan konten lokal seperti rumah adat, pakaian tradisional, senjata tradisional, alat musik tradisional dan tarian tradisional.Sesuai dengan judul dari Game yang dibuat, tujuan dari pembuatan Game ini adalah untuk mengembangkan permainan berbasis virtual reality yang menarik, kreatif, dan inovatif sehingga bisa dinikmati serta mencoba untuk mengenalkan budaya Indonesia bagi pengguna didalam maupun luar Indonesia. Dalam proses pengembangan terdapat beberapa prosedur yang dilalui yaitu persiapan, analisa, desain, pembuatan dan uji coba. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan meliputi studi literatur dan observasi. Pada tahap pengujian dilakukan proses uji coba pada 30 penguji yang terdiri dari usia 14 – 40 tahun. Setelah melalui tahap pengembangan dan pengujian, Game ID Card Puzzle dapat membuktikan bahwa dengan penerapan teknologi Virtual Reality dalam Game yang mengangkat konten lokal, pengguna dapat merasa pengalaman bermain yang jauh lebih interaktif dan memberikan pengetahuan baik tentang informasi kearifan lokal. Kata Kunci: Game , Puzzle, Virtual Reality, 3D Game. Abstract: The development of the Game industry at this time is very rapid with a variety of technologies used. One of the most popular Game technologies in recent years is Virtual Reality. Virtual Reality itself is a technology that allows users to feel directly the appearance of the virtual world by utilizing the sense of sight. ID Card Puzzle Game utilizes this technology in its implementation. ID Card Puzzle is included in the puzzle category. The content used in this Game is local content such as traditional houses, traditional clothes, traditional weapons, traditional musical instruments and traditional dances. In accordance with the titles of the Game s made, the purpose of making this Game is to develop interesting, creative virtual reality based Game s and innovative so that it can be enjoyed and try to introduce Indonesian culture to users inside and outside Indonesia. In the development process there are several procedures that go through namely preparation, analysis, design, manufacture and testing. Data collection methods carried out include literature study and observation. At the testing stage, a trial process was carried out on 30 examiners consisting of ages 14-40 years. After going through the development and testing phases, ID Card Puzzle Game s can prove that with the application of Virtual Reality technology in Game s that lift local content, users can feel a much more interactive playing experience and provide good knowledge about information on local wisdom. Abstract

Abstrak: Di era industri 4.0, setiap universitas memiliki web yang dapat digunakan sebagai media informasi, promosi dan barometer untuk mengukur kualitas dan kredibilitas dari web universitas itu sendiri. Webometrics adalah sebuah sistem perangkingan web universitas yang dapat mengukur kualitas dan kredibilitas web dari suatu universitas. Aspek penilaian yang digunakan oleh Webometrics antara lain Presence, Visibility, Transparency dan Excellence. STIKI Malang pada bulan Januari 2018 menempati posisi 244 di level Nasional. Minimnya jumlah halaman web STIKI Malang yang terindeks di Google, jumlah backlinks dan jumlah pengunjung menjadi salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi popularitas sekaligus peringkat web STIKI Malang di Webometrics. Oleh sebab, peneliti membutuhkan sebuah teknik yang dapat meningkatkan popularitas web STIKI khususnya terkait Google Indeks, backlinks dan jumlah pengunjung. Teknik yang paling memungkinkan untuk diimplementasikan adalah SEO (Search Engine Optimization). SEO merupakan serangkaian proses yang dilakukan secara sistematis yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan volume dan kualitas trafik kunjungan melalui mesin pencari. Hasilnya, STIKI Malang berhasil menempati posisi 205 di level Nasional setelah penelitian ini selesai dilaksanakan yaitu pada bulan Juli 2018. The most possible technique to be implemented is SEO (Search Engine Optimization). SEO is a series of processes carried out systematically that aim to increase volume and quality of traffic visits through search engines. Abstract

Perkembangan sistem dan teknologi informasi yang pesat telah membawa perubahan yang signifikan terhadap dunia Pendidikan khususnya Pendidikan tinggi. Hampir seluruh perguruan tinggi di Indonesia sudah mengadopsi teknologi informasi sebagai media untuk melakukan proses belajar mengajar. Salah satu teknologi yang sudah sering diadopsi adalah Sistem Informasi Akademik (SIA) yang berfungsi sebagai fasilitator IT dalam menyelenggarakan kegiatan yang bersifat akademik. Namun demikian, dengan penerapan Sistem Informasi Akademik ini pun masih meninggalkan berbagai macam pertanyaan terkait dengan pemanfaatan SIA tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat sebuah kerangka yang dapat memfasilitasi untuk mengukur kualitas sebuah perangkat lunak dari sisi Functionality (Fungsionalitas), Reliability (Keandalan), Usability (Kebergunaan), Efficiency (Efisiensi), Maintainability (Pemeliharaan) dan Portability (Portabilitas) dimana semua unsur ini terdapat pada ISO 9126 sebagai dasar acuan untuk menguji kualitas. Adapun metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah dengan menyebar kuesioner serta melakukan wawancara terhadap beberapa stakeholder sistem. Atribut-atribut yang digunakan dalam pembuatan kuesioner nantinya akan dijadikan dasar untuk perbaikan kualitas pada perangkat lunak. Diharapkan model yang diusulkan dapat dijadikan kerangka acuan untuk perbaikan kualitas bagi perangkat lunak di lingkup akademik perguruan tinggi khususnya bagian akademik dan unit penunjang lain pada umumnya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sistem dinilai baik ditinjau dari semua karakteristik software berdasarkan ISO 9126. Abstract The rapid growth of information technology has brought a significant change to academic institution, especially to higher education. Almost all of Indonesia higher education has adopted the information technology as a learning media. Academic Information System is one of the technologies that adopted for academic purposes. However, there are still many gaps in developing and implementing the system. This research aims to build a conceptual framework that can measure the quality based on its functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability and portability where all this element is exist in ISO 9126 as our guide for measuring the quality. We use a questionnaire and interview the stakeholders to collect data. The attributes in the questionnaire will used as a guidance to build a baseline framework. We hope this will be a good proposed model that can be a main reference for academic and other related units. The result shows that all system characteristic has a good point based on ISO 9126.

Abstract

Daun merupakan salah satu bagian tanaman yang dapat menjadi acuan klasifikasi. Selain itu, daun lebih mudah diperoleh karena tidak tergantung pada musim. Karena memiliki perbedaan fitur pada setiap jenis mangga. Penerapan Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan Radial Basis Function Network merupakan salah satu cara untuk dapat mengklasifikasikan. Dengan cara pengumpulan data melalui pengolahan citra digital. yang berfokus terhadap ekstraksi fitur pada sebuah citra daun. Hasil dari informasi citra daun yang nantinya akan menjadi fitur fitur dalam metode klasifikasi. Fitur-fitur tersebut adalah Hue, Saturation, Value, Luas, Keliling, Major Axis dan Minor axis. Pada tahap pengujian hasil menunjukkan bahwa nilai persentase keberhasilan kurang dari 50% pada percobaan pelatihan 4 citra dan pengujian 4 citra dengan total 32 data latih dan 32 data uji. Dan pada percobaan pelatihan 7 dan pengujian 1 tingkat keberhasilan masih dibawah 50%. Untuk pengembangan selanjutnya dapat ditambahkan fitur / ciri agar persentase identifikasinya meningkat. Dan juga dibutuhkan penelitian dengan metode pemabanding agar dapat diketahui metode terbaik yang sesuai dengan penelitian ini. Dengan penelitian ini nantinya dapat dikembangkan lagi sebuah aplikasi mobile yang dapat mengidentifikasi jenis tanaman mangga berdasarkan daun, tidak hanya jenis mangga saja melainkan berbagai jenis tanaman. Sehingga bermanfaat juga sebagai media berbagi informasi bagi yang membutuhkan informasi mengenai jenis tanaman.

Abstract

Digital Camera Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) is a camera with a digital system that uses a single lens mounted on the camera body. All DSLR camera brands divide their consumers in camera user classes to make it easier for users to distinguish features, such as entry-level classes, professional classes (semi-professional & professional) and middle-class (semi-advanced & advanced). The choice of DSLR cameras for consumers has quite a number of parameters that can be used as a benchmark for someone to determine which DSLR camera fits their needs and desires. Parameters used in determining DSLR cameras can be subjective judgments or objective judgments. Sometimes someone has difficulty in determining the parameters taken in determining the decision, so the choices taken in the end are not exactly what is expected. Promethee method is one of determining the order (priority) in multicriteria analysis. Simplicity, clarity and stability are the main focus of problems in the promethee method. Like most other methods, the ranking process is done by selecting several alternatives with predetermined criteria. There are nine criteria to be tested, namely: image resolution, video resolution, ISO, focus point, screen pixel, shutter speed, battery life, camera class and price. Selection of Decision Support System Applications DSLR cameras are made with web-based programming languages PHP and MySQL as database management system software. This system is expected to provide DSLR camera recommendations in accordance with the criteria determined by prospective customers efficiently and effectively, so as to minimize the possibility of losses obtained by consumers.
