Abstract

This study helps to understand what methods are used by counseling teachers in overcoming school skipping students. This research is descriptive qualitative with case study research. The data source of this study were two counseling teachers, namely Sartini Cut and Novrida Yanti and one class VIII student at SMPN 3 Lengayang West Sumatra. Data collection is done by interview method, and collection. The results of the study showed that the individual counseling method could overcome school absenteeism in the eighth grade students of SMPN 3 Lengayang West Sumatra by the directive, non directive and eclectic method. This third method is given twice to students and begins with directive counseling which is important is the guidance of counseling teachers, after that counseling is non-directive, namely students who are more suitable in discussing problems and eclectic counseling, while teachers with students are equally active in solving problems. With this method, the counseling teacher can make a diagnosis regarding the problems experienced by the student. Keywords: Individual Counseling, School Ballos

Abstract

This study explains the efforts of rational emotive therapy in dealing with adolescent negative thoughts about their body which are not ideal, which in the end he considers that their body shape prevents their desire to achieve their ideals as a member of the police force. The client feels hopeless and disappointed because his body is not ideal to be able to become a police officer. The method used in this research is qualitative research with case study research which is then analyzed using comparative descriptive analysis. While data is collected through interviews and observations. After the data is collected, an analysis is carried out to find out the counseling process with rational emotive therapy and integrated with QS. Al-Hujurat verse 12, and compare between before and after the counseling process is carried out. The counseling process with Rational Emotive Therapy is done in steps: problem identification, diagnosis, prognosis, therapy, and evaluation. The results found that the client concerned has negative thoughts about the shape of his body, he is often upset and feel hopeless because his body is not ideal to achieve his desire to become a police officer. However, after guidance and therapy, the client feels that what he has perceived so far is wrong and intends to think rationally in the face of a problem. In the end, the client is motivated to achieve his goals by diligently exercising, learning to be grateful with the body that God gives, not complaining, maintaining diet and the client believes nothing is impossible if there is an effort from the heart.

Abstract

Kecemasan yang dialami oleh sebagian besar pasien pra operasi getah bening secara tidak langsung menghambat proses kelancaran operasi yang akan dijalani oleh pasien. Kecemasan tersebut menjadikan pasien bimbang dan ragu hingga pada akhirnya berpikiran negatif terhadap kesehatannya setelah operasi dilakukan. Apalagi masing-masing pasien pra operasi mengaku bahwa sebelumnya belum pernah menjalani tindakan operasi dan belum pernah merasa cemas seperti saat ini. Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang penerapan teknik rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT) mengatasi kecemasan dan pikiran negatif terhadap dua pasien yang akan menjalani tindakan operasi getang bening di RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang. Pemberian bantuan dengan menggunakan REBT diterapkan untuk memperbaiki cara pandang pasien terhadap keadaan yang sedang dihadapi. Penelitian ini berbentuk action research, di mana peneliti memberikan terapi atau perlakuan secara langsung terhadap dua pasien tersebut. Adapun tahapan yang dilakukan: (a) berempati dengan kondisi klien; (b) memberi suasana  berkatarsis; (c) mengajak klien membombardir perasaan negatifnya; (d) membuat kontrak. Hasil yang diperoleh bahwa kedua pasien mulai menyadari bahwa apa yang ia cemaskan tidaklah tepat, karena itu tidak akan menyelesaikan persoalan apa-apa. Dengan demikian, penerapan teknik REBT memberikan kontribusi dalam mengubah cara pandang pasien terhadap persoalannya dalam menghilangkan kecemasan pra operasi getah bening.

Abstract

This article discusses the education that families provide to children in overcoming various forms of delinquency carried out by juveniles in Karang Tangah village, West Sumatra. It is believed that the family is the main pillar that shapes the personality and attitude of a child. Thus, it really needs attention and primary teaching from the family so that children avoid the influence of technological advances that could have pushed every child (juveniles) involved in various forms of mischief. Along with the times and technology, without us knowing so much it is heard that children or juveniles are involved in mischief’s they are not supposed to do that will only harm themselves. Therefore, this research will describe the various forms of delinquency that juveniles do and of course, there are efforts and efforts of parents in looking after their children. It is hoped that parents can take care of and educate their children well.

Abstract

This paper describes the fundamental teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, the development of religious knowledge, and the social and political context that shaped the intellectual tradition of Islam. Abdullah Saeed, in the transmission of spiritual experience and Islamic thought, introduced the basic teachings of Islam. The emergence of Islam is closely related to the history of its birthplace, the city of Mecca. Besides, Abdullah Saeed also discussed the beginning of the development of religious knowledge, which was immediately explained by the Qur'an and the emergence of sects that influenced the course of change towards truth. Each of these sects and sects has its doctrine, and if there is anything against it, there is undoubtedly a separate assessment of the differences that are believed. Several groups with various theological or religio-political orientations emerged. Among them are Kharijis (khawarij), Shia, Qadaris (qadariyya), Mu‘tazilis (mu‘tazila), Jabris (jabriyya) and Murji'is (murji'a).

Abstract

This paper discusses several forms of student delinquency that occurred at MA Muhammadiyah Lakit, West Sumatra, the things that influence and how Islamic religious education efforts in preventing phenomena that occur. This research uses a qualitative approach with qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results and data obtained, the problems that occur in students are considered to be serious, often repeated and make the school and the teacher worry about the habits of some students, such as being caught smoking in school stalls, jumping school fences, skipping school hours, fighting, and coming to school late. The school has also often warned and the last solution is the calling of parents of students involved in delinquency. The causes of delinquency done by students are due to the influence of peers, environmental influences, weak parental supervision and the influence of social media. There are two attempts by the school in preventing student delinquency, the first giving advice, and the second punishment. Although not yet running optimally. However, there has been a bright spot for students, so they understand the impact he has. In fact, the rules made by schools to shape themselves as moral and educated students, and make both parents happy.Tulisan ini membahas tentang beberapa bentuk kenakalan siswa yang terjadi di MA Muhammadiyah Lakitan Sumatera Barat, hal-hal yang mempengaruhi serta bagaimana upaya pendidikan agama Islam dalam mencegah fenomena yang terjadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil dan data yang diperoleh, permasalahan yang terjadi pada siswa sudah dianggap serius, sering terulang dan membuat pihak sekolah beserta guru khawatir dengan kebiasaan yang dilakukan beberapa siswa, seperti ketahuan merokok di warung sekolah, melompat pagar sekolah, bolos pada jam sekolah, berkelahi, dan telat datang ke sekolah. Pihak sekolah juga telah sering memperingatkan dan solusi terakhir ialah pemanggilan orang tua siswa yang terlibat kenakalan. Penyebab dari kenakalan yang dilakukan siswa dikarenakan pengaruh teman sepermainan, pengaruh lingkungan, pengawasan orang tua yang lemah dan pengaruh media sosial. Ada dua upaya yang dilakukan sekolah dalam mencegah kenakalan siswa, yang pertama memberikan nasehat dan kedua hukuman. Walaupun belum berjalan maksimal. Akan tetapi telah ada titik terangnya kepada siswa, sehingga mereka paham akan dampak yang ia didapatkan. Sejatinya, aturan yang dibuat sekolah untuk membentuk diri siswa yang bermoral dan berpendidikan, serta membahagiakan kedua orang tua.

Abstract

Berkembangnya zaman ke era digital turut memengaruhi akhlak dan perilaku setiap manusia, termasuk siswa. Pada akhirnya, penting sekali bila perbaikan akhlak menjadi hal utama dalam menjadikan siswa tetap konsisten dalam menjalankan perannya sebagai pelajar. Kepala madrasah memiliki wewenang dan tanggung jawab dalam menyelesaikan berbagai problematika yang dialami siswa sehingga dapat meminimalisasi krisis akhlak yang ditampilkan siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengetahui bagaimana peran kepala madrasah dalam mencegah krisis akhlak di sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian di MIS Mata Air Kota Padang. Subjek penelitian ini ialah kepala sekolah, siswa, dan guru. Hasil penelitian ini ialah terdapat beberapa bentuk penyimpangan yang dilakukan oleh siswa seperti bolos belajar, merokok di wc, tidak menghargai guru, tidak sopan ketika berbicara kepada guru, sering berkata kotor ketika berkomunikasi dengan teman sebaya, kedapatan membawa handphone, bergaya yang tidak pantas dan tidak patuh kepada kedua orangtua. Peran yang dilakukan oleh kepala madrasah terkait pencegahan krisis akhlak siswa ialah memberikan hukuman, menasehati, mengajarkan cara menjadi siswa yang baik, melalui cerita-cerita motivasi dan berdiskusi.

Abstract

This paper explains about presenting the values ​​of da'wah through individual counseling whose purpose is to provide religious / Islamic nuanced solutions to a variety of problems that exist in human life. The method used by the author in this research is descriptive analysis method, in which the author presents data from several relevant opinions and tested through various sources and then analyzes them, so as to produce a more effective and relatively new alternative in da'wah, namely through individual counseling. Then preaching must be packaged in the right method, which must be actual, factual, and contextual. One approach to convey the message of preaching is through individual counseling activities. Da'wah through individual counseling has several characteristics, namely the formation of communication between counselor and client, oriented toward problem solving efforts, delivery of messages that have been programmed, and the targets and objectives set. In addition, propaganda through individual counseling has several characteristics, namely trying to raise awareness to internalize the values ​​/ teachings of Islam in certain circles that are very specific and individual.
