Abstract

This study aimed to reveal the condition of a child-friendly school as seen from the psychological well-being students in school. Lately there have been various harassment incidents that have befallen students and their own culprit; this is allegedly related to their discomfort at school. Interviews and observations were employed in this study.  The participants which were the public high school students were recruited and determined by snowball sampling. The results showed that, generally, students experienced problems; first, psychological well-being was disrupted due to the following reasons: (1)  learning environment which included incomplete classroom and extracurricular activities facilities; (2) teachers’ attribute which included attitudes toward students, show less affection, appreciation and sometimes like to force the will; and (3) inadequate teaching and learning aspects which included poor lesson plans and dense of teaching and learning material. Second, psychological well-being felt by students generally in schools is related to: (1) the atmosphere in the classroom: friendly and not grumpy teachers, fun teachers in explaining the lesson; (2) understanding and easygoing friends who are comfortable to communicate with, and (3) the atmosphere outside the classroom, friendly waiters in the canteen and a comfortable and quiet library.

Abstract

Globalization and free trade specifically in ASEAN countries clearly have impacts and changes in all aspects of life. One of the aspects of life is education. School is not only consist of Indonesian people, but also children from other countries because their parents study or work in Indonesia. Such conditions require a proper school for all children. The provision of infrastructure, educators and education personnel take effect in answering the challenge of such change. In the aspect of infrastructure needs to increase the number and the quality. Educators and education personnel must  adjust to these changes. Educators at least are able to master the international language, minimal English. Child-friendly school is a school that provides comfort and happiness to all students, so that they develop optimally in accordance with the potential they have. The discussion in this paper comparatively sees the profiles of child-friendly school in Indonesia and ASEAN countries. It is expected the well defined of child-friendly schools in a regional perspective. The next thing will be analyzed is the association with the role of counseling in schools, as the process of giving the assistance so that learners become successful on academic, social relationships and career preparation.

Abstract

WhatsApp is an online media that is widely used by students and lecturers. WhatsApp application can provide convenience in interacting and communicating. Through this application can add more friends, making it easier for users to get to know each other and as a media to support learning activities. This research aims to determine the use of whatsapp as a medium of communication between lecturers and students in supporting learning activities. The research method used is quantitative research. The data source is 53 students from Imam Bonjol Padang. This research is a survey, through the Google form media. The results revealed that, students feel that what makes it easier to communicate and support learning activities compared to other online media was obtained by 23 people (43.40%) choosing statements often, and as many as 16 people (30.20%) stated always. It can be interpreted that most of the students (73.60%) felt that it was easier for them to communicate and support learning activities compared to other online media. Furthermore, more than 70% of students stated that the application of whatsApp had a positive impact on their learning activities and supported the improvement of their communication with lecturers. So, whatsApp is one of the media that has benefits including facilitating communication and supporting learning activities. The ease in using whatsApp makes students feel helped by this application and becomes one of the important and preferred means of communication for students

Abstract

Dakwah mengemban tugas mengajak ummat untuk amar makruf nahi mungkar. Gerakan dakwah yang hidup di tengah masyarakat lebih dominan dihadiri dan diprogram untuk orang dewasa, namun untuk remaja terlihat belum optimal. Besar kemungkinan penyebab rendahnya keterlibatan remaja dalam mengikuti kegiatan dakwah karena materi yang belum menjawab persoalan mereka.Tujuan penelitian ini, adalah mengungkapkan persepsi dan harapan remaja terkait materi dakwah yang berbasis problem solving. Penelitian yang dilakukan secara kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan interview secara mendalam agar dapat digali persepsi dan harapan santri di MAS Al-Falah Pondok Pesantren Perkampungan Minangkabau Padang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar santri menilai ustadz cenderung memberi materi tanpa dikaitkan dengan permasalahan serta solusinya. Tahapan problem solvingnya, juga kurang jelas. Harapannya, para ustadz hendaknya menjelaskan dan mengaitkan dengan persoalan kehidupan sehari-hari beserta pengentasannya.

Abstract

The changes faced by the elderly have the potential to become a source of pressure in life from various aspects of life. So that the elderly become vulnerable people who continue to fight for life until the end. The elderly have continued to carry out various professions in the informal sector to be able to stay strong and survive without depending on others. The aim of the research is to find out the problems of the elderly from personal, socio-economic and spiritual aspects. Research using qualitative methods is descriptive. The research location was in the Piai Tangah Village, RT 01 RW 03. The research subjects were elderly people who worked in the informal sector, using the accidental sampling technique, as many as 7 people were obtained. Data collection techniques are observation and interviews. The findings of the study are, the elderly say decreased physical ability affects the activities of the elderly at work. The elderly withdraw from the environment because they no longer have peers, feel alienated from the environment, and choose to work so that the elderly are busy with their work activities. Still working makes the elderly feel empowered in society even though it sometimes creates feelings of inferiority in society, they feel not cared for by their family, they are lonely, they feel alienated from society but they are elderly. Working interferes with the elderly's worship time, such as: not being able to pray five times a day at the mosque, not being able to attend religious lectures and recitations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana pelaksanaan layanan mediasi di KUA kecamatan Kuranji kota Padang, dimana pelaksanaan layanan mediasi dilihat dari tiga perspektif yaitu: perencanaan layanan mediasi, pelaksanaan layanan mediasi, serta evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan pemantauan penyuluh dalam mengatasi masalah keluarga di BP4 KUA wilayah Kuranji Kota Padang untuk mencegah perceraian. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Tempat penelitian adalah BP4 KUA kecamatan Kuranji yang berlokasi di Kompleks Villaku Indah I Blok F No. 8, kelurahan Gunung Sarik, kecamatan Kuranji kota Padang. Alasan peneliti memilih tempat ini karena Kuranji merupakan salah satu kecamatan dengan angka perceraian tertinggi. Kecamatan Kuranji memiliki angka perceraian tertinggi di kota Padang. Subjek penelitian adalah pasangan penerima layanan, kepala KÜA dan konselor agama Islam yang berpengalaman atau profesional. Teknik purposive sampling digunakan untuk menentukan tujuan penelitian ini. Purposive sampling didasarkan pada kriteria tertentu. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi dan wawancara. Pelaksanaan layanan mediasi yang dilakukan oleh BP4 KUA di kecamatan Kuranji yaitu; klien yang mengalami masalah dapat memperoleh wawasan baru dan tahu bagaimana melakukan sesuatu hal terbaik dalam kehidupan rumah tangga mereka.

Abstract

Fenomena yang terjadi pada anak asuh di Panti Asuhan Aisyiyah Cabang KotoTangah Timur, yaitu masih banyak di antara mereka belum melaksanakan ibadah salat karena Allah SWT. Kebanyakan dari anak asuh ini melaksanakan salat hanya karena rasa takut kepada Pembina, karena akan diberi sanksi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan (field research), dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Subjek penelitian yang dijadikan sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari pembina yang berjumlah 3 orang, dan anak asuh sebanyak 5 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa:(1) pembiasaan yang dilakukan pembina, adalah anak asuh melaksanakan ibadah salat lima waktu secara berjamaah. Pengajaran dilakukan dengan memberikan materi tentang tata cara pelaksanaan salat, bacaan, dan cara mempraktekannya; (2) Keteladanan dilakukan pembina, dengan mencontohkan salat yang benar, dan secara lemah lembut serta tegas mengajak anak asuh salat berjamaah.; dan (3) Motivasi yang dilakukan pembina, dengan cara pemberian pujian dalam pemahaman tentang kewajiban menjalankan salat, dengan ungkapan seperti bagus, dan hebat. Penghargaan berupa hadiah diberikan ketika puasa, mengaji, dan hafalan ayat. Peringatan diberikan dengan cara menegur terlebih dahulu, kemudian menanyakan alasan apabila tidak berubah, maka akan dimarahi bahkan diberikan hukuman, ditakut-takuti, akan dipulangkan kepihak keluarga anak asuh.

Abstract

Abstract: Religious extensions provide premarital guidance so that prospective bridal couples get a lasting marriage. But in reality, currently there are many divorces that occur at the West Padang KUA. It is suspected that religious extension have not been professional in carrying out their duties, with low competence. The objectives of this study include: first, to determine the substantive competence related to the theoretical ability of religious extension at the KUA Padang Barat. Second, to determine the methodological competence of religious extension at the KUA Padang Barat. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. The research data sources are religious extensions, and bridal couples who have attended premarital guidance. Taking data sources using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The results showed that: 1) Substantive competence related to knowledge and skills has theoretically run optimally, it's just that a small part of the extensions needs to improve his competence; and 2) Methodological competence of religious extensions, related to applicative knowledge, applicative skills and attitudes as a whole, the extension is good enough, this is indicated by the extension not only explaining the material one way, but also providing opportunities for prospective brides to ask questions and respond to the material, so that prospective brides can understand the material well.Abtsrak: Penyuluh Agama memberikan bimbingan pranikah bertujuan agar calon pasangan pengantin mendapatkan pernikahan yang langgeng. Namun kenyataannya, saat ini banyak perceraian yang terjadi di KUA Padang Barat. Hal ini diduga Penyuluh Agama belum profesional dalam menjalankan tugasnya, dengan kompetensi yang rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kompetensi substantif dan kompentensi metodologis Penyuluh Agama di KUA Padang Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian ialah Penyuluh Agama, dan pasangan pengantin yang sudah mengikuti bimbingan pranikah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa: kompetensi Penyuluh Agama di Kantor Urusan Agama Padang Barat mencakup pemahaman teoritis yang kuat, keterampilan komunikasi yang efektif, pemahaman terhadap nilai-nilai agama, sensitivitas terhadap masalah psikologis, dan kemampuan memberikan panduan praktis terkait pernikahan. Meskipun sebagian besar dari mereka telah berhasil mencapai tingkat kompetensi yang baik, masih ada potensi untuk peningkatan.

Abstract

Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan BTQ untuk santri rumah tahfizh fiisabilillah. Salah satu metode yang membantu dalam Baca Tulis Al-Qur’an (BTQ) adalah metode Card Sort. Metode Card Sort adalah metode dengan menggunakan kartu yang bervariasi yang nantinya akan diisi dengan huruf hijaiyyah beserta baris hurufnya. Hal ini dilakukan karena beberapa santri sering lupa dan kurang mampu menulis huruf hijaiyah yang telah diajarkan, serta mereka merasa jenuh dan bosan dengan pembelajaran yang menggunakan buku bacaan sehingga beberapa santri suka jalan-jalan, suka ngobrol, menggambar yang tidak sesuai dengan pembelajaran baca tulis Al-Qur’an. Pelaksanaan pelatihan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan PAR (Participatory Action Research) dan menggunakan tiga pilar utama yakni metodologi riset, dimensi aksi, dimensi partisipasi. Hasil dari penggunaan metode Card Sort ini, santri lebih mudah memahami dan mengingat setiap huruf hijaiyah beserta dengan baris bacaannya serta mampu menuliskan dan mengucapkan setiap huruf hijaiyah yang telah di jelaskan. Pelaksanaan pelatihan ini juga menghasilkan kualitas pemahaman dasar huruf hijaiyah yang bagus karna dalam prosesnya santri cenderung lebih fokus dalam mendengarkan dan memperhatikan arahan dari gurunya. Selain itu, santri lebih bersemangat dan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran Baca Tulis Alqur’an, karena media kartu hijaiyah yang digunakan sangat menarik dan berbeda dengan penggunaan buku bacaan. Pelatihan menggunakan metode ini bisa juga digunakan dan dilaksanakan oleh Rumah Tahfizh di tempat lainnya, karna metodenya sangat mudah di gunakan dan medianya sangat mudah di temukan.
