Abstract

Abstract The public transport service is very important for people who live in a city. The service is, therefore, to be maintained to satisfy the public transport users. This study aims to investigate the performance of bus service in the city of Bandar Lampung. The indicators used to measure the performance are those of the World Bandk. The results suggest that, in general, routes investigated have met the accessibility standards of the Worls Bank.Keywords: bus service, bus performance, and performance  indicator.

Abstract

Abstract Activities in the shopping area cause attraction and generate trips. The number of vehicles entering and leaving the area affects the performance of the surrounding roads. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence trip attraction and implement traffic management to reduce congestion. The results of this study show that the factors that influence the public trips attracted to the shopping area of Bandar Lampung are the number of people living in a house, the number of private vehicle ownership in each house, the completeness of the goods sold in the shopping area, and the price of goods sold. Traffic management that needs to be done is to reduce intersection conflicts and road weavings, by closing access to vehicles directly into the intersection and changing access to the shopping area. Keywords: trip generation, road performance, road weaving, traffic management  Abstrak Aktivitas di kawasan perbelanjaan menimbulkan tarikan dan bangkitan pergerakan. Banyaknya kendaraan yang masuk maupun keluar kawasan mempengaruhi kinerja jalan di sekitarnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap tarikan pergerakan dan menerapkan manajemen lalu lintas untuk mengurangi kemacetan. Hasil studi ini memperlihatkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap tarikan perjalanan masyarakat ke kawasan perdagangan Kota Bandar Lampung adalah jumlah orang yang tinggal di suatu rumah, jumlah kepemilikan kendaraan pribadi di setiap rumah, kelengkapan barang yang dijual di kawasan perdagangan, dan harga barang yang dijual. Manajemen lalu lintas yang perlu dilakukan adalah mengurangi konflik simpang dan jalinan jalan, dengan menutup akses kendaraan masuk langsung ke simpang serta mengubah akses masuk ke kawasan perbelanjaan tersebut. Kata-kata kunci: bangkitan pergerakan, kinerja jalan, jalinan jalan, manajemen lalu lintas

Abstract

Abstract Transportation infrastructures have a very important role in encouraging the growth of a region and at the same time driving the growth of the community's economy in that region. This study aims to examine the influence of existing transportation infrastructure in Lampung Province, namely toll roads, executive terminal at Bakauheni Port, and Raden Inten II Airport, on the development of Lampung Province. The data used were obtained from a survey of traffic volume passing the toll road and interviews with a number of respondents at Bakauheni Seaport. The results obtained indicate that the longer the distance traveled, the greater the opportunity for travelers to use the toll road. As for goods transport, the choice to use the toll road is also influenced by the type of goods being transported. The combination of toll road transportation infrastructure and an executive terminal at Bakauheni Seaport also influences tourists to visit Lampung Province. Abstrak Prasarana transportasi mempunyai peran yang sangat penting dalam mendorong pertumbuhan suatu wilayah dan sekaligus pendorong tumbuhnya perekonomian masyarakat di wilayah tersebut. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh infrastruktur transportasi yang ada di Provinsi Lampung, yaitu jalan tol, dermaga eksekutif di Pelabuhan Bakauheni, dan Bandara Raden Inten II, terhadap perkembangan Provinsi Lampung. Data yang digunakan diperoleh dari survei volume lalu lintas yang melalui jalan tol serta wawancara terhadap sejumlah responden di Pelabuhan Bakauheni. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa semakin panjang jarak yang ditempuh, semakin besar peluang pelaku perjalanan untuk menggunakan jalan tol. Sedangkan untuk perjalanan barang, pilihan untuk menggunakan jalan tol juga dipengaruhi oleh jenis barang yang diangkut. Gabungan infrastruktur transportasi jalan tol dan dermaga eksekutif di Pelabuhan Bakauheni ikut memengaruhi wisata-wan untuk berkunjung ke Provinsi Lampung. Kata-kata kunci: infrastruktur transportasi; jalan tol; dermaga eksekutif; pelabuhan; bandara.

Abstract

Road instalation is one of crucial sector which become connection zones of campus ITERA. Optimum planning of design pavement is very necessery. Variable that affected the planning process of pavement design on the road zone of ITERA is, CBR Subgrade value, Traffic loads factor, road classification, and pavement types. Pavement design of ringroad inside campus ITERA planned with 2 methods, the pavement thickness analysis method using Bina Marga 1987 and Pavement Design Manual using Bina Marga 2013. Based of survey and analysis obtained CBR subgrade with 6%-10%, traffic loads for 20Years reach 1.210.994, and region condition categorized as tropical climate with rainfall around 1900-2500mm/year. Pavement design with the pavement thickness analysis method using Bina Marga 1987 and Pavement Design Manual using Bina Marga 2013 resulted variation thickness, MDP2013 with flexible pavemet HRS WC, HRS Base, LPA class A and LPA class B resulted total thickness at 44cm while MAK1987 resulted at 35cm. Significant differences is in LPA class A and LPA class B. By the studies, total thickness with the pavement design manual 2013 is more thick than using the pavement thickness analysis using Bina Marga 1987, this caused by some standard in the pavement design manual 2013.

Abstract

In the development of transportation, government had role as guidance, so they have obligated toprepare and formulated transportation policy, control and monitor implementation of transporta-tion. One obligation referred to is setting transportation infrastructure network and level of ser-vice. Other important thing is performing prediction the movement of passengers and goods espe-cially on each point of transportation movement, related to road network master plan.The main objective of this research is the application of modeling transport in road network plan-ning. Other policies that will follow are the settings and policies regarding to freight circulation interminal, the recommendation of public transport and road network system. Four stages of trans-portation planning is used as a research method.The result of this study is recommendation that necessary to preserve transportation service in ru-ral areas to develop primary transportation based on community and land use development. Rec-ommendation of road network master plan is resettle of road level and function based on activity,new corridor development connecting under development area and nationality conection.

Abstract

The accident rate between people and train actually can be reduced to minimum as the traffic of railway is not as crowded as road. This thesis is using stated prefence technique. Stated preference approaches with option statement in the form of hypothesis to be assessed by the respondent. With using regression analysis, researcher can see the dominant factors of the causes of railway-related accidents especially in Sukamenanti railway which is in a hypothetical situation. To determine the dominant factors causing accidents at railway based on the results of a questionnaire to the related instations to be compared with data on the number of train accident from 2012-2017 that obtained from the related instations with using regression analysis with the help of the SPSS program. The analysis result is: (the number of accidents from 2012-2017 ) = -9,256 + 0,008.X12+ 0,009.X6 + 0,011.X10 + 0,015.X5 From regression analysis result, dominant factors of railway-related accidents causes are inadequate railways, limited carriages, the inadequate of doorstop availability, the damages in engine, the factor of carriages age (X12), rider physic’s exhaustion while riding their vehicle (X6), Infrastructure damage such as worn rails, spaten railing, shovel rails, chained rails, cracked rail connections, skidding on rails, weathered bearings, incompatible ballasts, loose fitting, and unlocked wesel (X10), machinist’s body condition (exhausted)/sleepy while on duty (X5). Therefore the signification is a=0,05 with regression analysis test.

Abstract

Train is one of the most preferred modes of transportation for the people of Lampung. One of the efforts made by PT KAI in improving service quality was to build a double railroad track for Tanjung Karang - Kertapati train. The purpose of this study is to find out the analysis of the invest - ment feasibility of the double track construction carried out by PT KAI. The data used is the price data for the construction of the railway line per kilometer and the income data of PT. KAI from passenger trains and babaranjang. The parameters used to review investment are using the Net Present Value (NPV) method, Benefit to Cost Ratio (BCR), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and, Payback Period (PP). There are 8 (eight) scenarios in calculating the investment feasibility analysis in this study. Each scenario has a variation on the inflation rate and the occupancy rate (KTD) and the achievement of the volume of coal transport. The results of the investment feasibility analysis carried out, all scenarios are very profitable, but the most favorable scenario is scenario 8, with the source of investment funds coming from own funds, 100% KTD, 5% inflation rate, 25 million tons / year coal volume, and rate of return by 15%.

Abstract

Pangeran Antasari Street plays an important role in serving and passing large number of traf - fics. The traffics, coupled with roadside barriers, cause delays in travel time. The purpose of this study is to analyze the performance of roads that is the level of service as well as the increase in travel costs due to delays. The assessment of the performance of the road section was carried out based on free flow traffics, which is the condition of the traffic flow without experi - encing delays and roadside obstacles. Performance values were obtained through a linear approach between the volume and speed of the vehicle using the Greenshield Model. Calculation of Vehicle Operating Costs (Biaya Operasional Kendaraan or BOK) of light vehicles and heavy vehicles were using a model developed by the Indonesian Research Affiliation Institute of the Bandung Institute of Technology (Lembaga Afiliasi Penelitian Indonesia Institut Teknologi Bandung or LAPI - ITB). Whereas the motorcycle BOK were useing the Road Traffic Services (Di - nas Lalu Lintas Angkutan Jalan or DLLAJ) method. The value of travel time was calculated based on the approach using the data of the City of Bandar Lampung's per capita income di - vided by the average number of working hours per year. The results showed that the service level of the Pangeran Antasari road segment was V / C > 0.8. This means that the road has a service level of D, which is near congested. The cost of congestion caused by traffic delays for the direction of Pangeran Antasari - Gajah Mada is Rp. 625.863.840/year, while for the direc - tion of Gajah Mada - Antasari is Rp. 845.009.609/year.

Abstract

The increase in the number of vehicles is not in line with the increase in transportation infrastructure. The construction of flyovers is one of the measures to provide transportation infrastructure that helps to enhance thehighway capacity. However, there are several things that need to be considered of the construction of flyover. In addition to reducing traffic density, it is also necessary to pay attention to the new routes that will be chosen to be the solution to the existing traffic congestion. The research objective is to analyze the performance of the section of Jl. Indra Bangsawan in its existing condition and provides alternative solutions so that  it is more optimal. 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity is used to analyze the performance of this intersection.Based on the results of research, it is known that the existing conditions of each segment are saturated (DS> 0.70), namely in the first segment of 1.16, Segment II of 1.37 and Segment III of 1.24, with the highest density in segment II. To improve the performance of the section, several alternative improvements were made with widening road dimensions, applying one-way systems, closing lanes and controlling side barriers. From these alternatives an effective repair solution is the application of a one-way system and control of side barriers.Keywords: Degree of Saturation, Capacity, Density, Roads

Abstract

Daya dukung tanah dasar/subgrade pada konstruksi jalan sangat menentukan, nilai daya dukung tanah dinyatakan dengan nilai California Bearing Rasio (CBR). Pada penelitian ini membahas mengenai aplikasi tekanan pada roda kendaraan alat berat di lapangan untuk proses pemadatan tanah terhadap daya dukung lapisan tanah dasar (subgrade). Sampel tanah yang digunakan pada pengujian ini berasal dari daerah Tirtayasa, Kec. Sukabumi, Bandar Lampung. Pengujian sampel menggunakan alat tekan modifikasi sebanyak delapan belas sampel untuk pemadatan standar, tekanan yang digunakan dalam pengujian sebesar 2,7 MPa, 7 MPa dan 8,4 Mpa.Hasil pengujian di laboratorium sampel tanah digolongkan sebagai kelompok tanah A-2-7 yaitu tanah berlempung. Nilai CBR tanpa rendaman dari pengujian pemadatan tanah menggunakan standard proctor sebesar 2,7%, sedangkan untuk nilai CBR rendaman sebesar 2%. Nilai CBR tanpa rendaman dari pengujian pemadatan tanah dengan metode tekanan pada masing-masing tekan sebesar 3,9%, 5,4% dan 5,8%, sedangkan untuk kondisi rendaman didapatkan nilai CBR sebesar 0,25%, 1,57% dan 1,83%. Nilai CBR mengalami peningkatan seiring bertambahnya tekanan yang diberikan pada sampel.Kata kunci: Alat tekan modifikasi, alat berat, Standard Proctor, California Bearing Rasio (CBR), pasir berlempung.
