Abstract

Kejadian ISPA merupakan salah satu penyebab utama kematian pada balita di negara berkembang terutama pneumonia. ISPA pada balita menempati urutan tertinggi di wilayah Kabupaten Gresik. Hal ini dapat terjadi karena Kabupaten Gresik merupakan daerah industri terutama di Kecamatan Kebomas wilayah Puskesmas Kebomas. Terjadinya ISPA pada balita diakibatkan berbagai faktor risiko. Faktor risiko ISPA pada balita adalah zat pencemar SO2, faktor fisik rumah, kepadatan hunian, penggunaan anti nyamuk bakar, status gizi, status imunisasi, riwayat ASI eksklusif, pendidikan ibu, dan anggota keluarga merokok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara faktor risiko terjadinya ISPA dengan kejadian ISPA pada balita di kawasan industri wilayah Puskesmas Kebomas Kabupaten Gresik.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi case control yang dilakukan mulai Bulan Desember 2016 - Mei 2017 di rumah penduduk sekitar kawasan industri wilayah Puskesmas Kebomas, Kabupaten Gresik. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik simple random sampling dengan besar sampel 112 kasus dan 112 kontrol serta menggunakan analisis univariate dan bivariat (Chi Square).Hasil penelitian diperoleh zat pencemar SO2 memenuhi syarat baku mutu Pergub No 10 Tahun 2009 262 µ/Nm3, faktor fisik rumah, kepadatan hunian, penggunaan anti nyamuk bakar, kurangnya imunisasi, riwayat ASI eksklusif, pendidikan ibu dan anggota keluarga merokok p α (0,05), maka tidak ada hubungan dengan kejadian ISPA pada balita. Sedangkan status gizi p=0,006 α=0,05, maka  berhubungan dan menjadi faktor risiko dengan kejadian ISPA pada balita di kawasan industri wilayah Puskesmas Kebomas. Disimpulkan bahwa faktor risiko yang berhubungan dengan kejadian ISPA pada balita di kawasan industry wilayah Puskesmas Kebomas adalah status gizi dengan besar risiko 2,265 kali. Disarankan masyarakat memberikan gizi yang cukup pada balita, menerapkan konsep dasar desa/kelurahan siaga aktif dalam perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (Kemenkes, 2010), pihak Dinas Kesehatan (Puskesmas) memberikan penyuluhan dan peneliti lain mengembangkan peneliti dengan faktor risiko lain. Kata Kunci : ISPA, balita, faktor risiko

Abstract

The implementation of occupational safety and health principles was conducted by establishingpolicies, planning and its implementation, monitoring and evaluating occupational safety and healthperformances, as well as reviewing and improvement of that performances. The aim of this study was toevaluate the implementation of the principles of occupational safety and health in order to reduce accidentrates among construction workers at construction site of the Skyline project in Surabaya.This was an observational study with cross sectional approach. Data were collected by means ofinterviews and observations using a check list. The number of population was 535 and the sample consistedof 84 construction workers and 6 staffs of occupational safety and health committee which were drawnrandomly. Data obtained were analyzed descriptively using tabulation and interpretation.The results showed that majority of respondents aged 40 years (77,38%), duration ofemployment 1-5 years (52,38%), and their educational level were elementary and junior high school(48,81%). These respondents have adequate knowledge in safety and health principles. Occupationalsafety and health has been adequately practiced.Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the occupational safety and health inthis company had been adequately implemented. It is recommended to this company to maintain anduphold its occupational safety and health programs.

Abstract

Dirty Linen was a source of contamination in the hospital laundry division. RSUD Dr. SeotomoSurabaya, the largest referral hospital, where infectious linen sorting using a yellow plastic bag labeled notbeen done by room division. Clean linen also did not stored in the cupboard. This research purposed toevaluate linen management (input factor, process, and output) in RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya.Type of this research was descriptive about evaluative research implementation form. Object of thisresearch was hospital linen management, with the subject of its research are chief of general subdivision,linen personnel of hospital in the room and in laundry unit as well as place and its infrastructure.Types of linen in RSUD Or. Soetomo Surabaya namely : clothing, pants, blanket, coverletllaken,corner, pillowcase, bolster case, tablecloth, towel, duk, gown/skoret, cloth sheet for baby, curtain, andgloves. The linen transport process by room personnel was ineligible. Processes of reception, washing,drying and linen ironing had eligible, but lack of personnel and time limitation there were dirty linens stayin.Storing process, means of facilities and APD usage of personnel was ineligible. The results ofexamination germ numbers gained 1.34 x102 and 1.80x102, that meant was eligible. Based on Dirjen PPMand PLP concerning to Indonesia Hospital Sanitation Manual, clean linen after out from all linenmanagement processes uncontained 6x103 species bacillus spora per square inch.Concluded that exist cloth linen in RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya was good, but clean linen senteveryday unable to meeting the need of room because of lack professional workers. Therefore suggestedin order to staffing of RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya to put several sanitation employee in laundry unit ortraining laundry employee today become a sanitation expert personnel. Instead of suggested immediate tofulfill-lack infrastructure, particularly clean linen storing cabinet.

Abstract

ABSTRACTPetis is a pasta-like food made of fresh fish/shrimp. Petis is usually produced by IRT innon sanitary way. These conditions allow the pollution/contamination of the petis production, eitherby microorganisms, physical objects, or chemicals. This study aims to determine the quality ofpetis production in Socah, Bangkalan, Madura.This research is a descriptive research. Data were collectetd by observations andlaboratory tests. There were 3 petis industries in Socah, where we took samples.The results showed that the quality of petis in physical aspects were not qualified, thechemical aspects were good, and microbiological aspects of two samples were not eligible. Sanitaryconditions of the production-sites were less than 53.4%, but the domestic industry‟s score were68%.The final conclusion is that petis production in Socah Madura is ineligible, on physical andmicrobiological aspect. Only in chemical aspect they were eligible. It is recomended to the peopleto be careful in buying any petis from Socah, test the smell and texture before used for dressing infood.Keywords : Petis, Physical, Chemical and Microbiological Quality.

Abstract

RumahSakit Umum Daerah Dr. Soetomo, Surabaya as one of medical service means, isa place where both sick and healthy people are gathering together. Activities of RSUD Dr.Soetomo will produce solid and liquid medical waste thatmay affect ennironmental pollution andhealth disorder. The behavior of Paramedic and Cleaning Service personnel significantly affectin managing the solid medical waste management.This research is a descriptive one, namely a research method aimin to assess thebehavior of Paramedicand Cleaning Service personnel, comprising of knowledge level, attitude,and action in managing those solid medical wastes in Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Dr. Soetomo,Surabaya. Population in this research was 298 Paramedic and Cleaning Service Personnel,spread in 13 wards, total sample was 75 Paramedic personnel and 3 Cleaning Servicepersonnel. Data obtained was further analyzed descriptively with table.The research result on solid medical waste management in Rumah Sakit Umum DaerahDr. Soetomo Surabaya, having satisfactorily knowledge level assessment each was 50,6% forParamedic personnel and 67% for Cleaning Service personnel. While for satisfactorily attitudeassement was 53,3% for Paramedic personnel and 100% for Cleaning Service personnel.Regarding satisfactorily performance assessment, it ,was achieved of 18,6% for Paramedicpersonnel, andO%for Cleaning Service personnel.Following the observation result of Paramedic and Cleaning Service personnel, it issuggested for their further guidance and briefing in behavior improvement regarding solidmedical waste management.Keywords : Behavior, Hospital

Abstract

Nutrition division of the Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Waluyo Jati at Kraksaan is a quantity food procurementand processing. During the procurement and processingof food there is a risk of disease transmission. It canoccur when food and food materials are purchased, storage of processed food, or when food are served inunsanitary state. In terms of siting, the nutrition division is located very close to solid waste holding center,medical waste incineration site and also close to the morgue. Flies found in any room in the nutrition divisionare capable of transmitting diseases. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that determinethe density of flies in the Nutrition division of the RumahSakit Umum Daerah Waluyo Jati at Kraksaan.This is a non-experimental research and data are analyzed in the study using descriptive procedures Thismethod is normally used to solve or answer problems faced in-the present situation. This study was aimed toidentify the factors that influence fly population in the Nutrition Division of the Rumah Sakit Umum DaerahWaluyo Jati Kraksaan.Resultsof the measurement on the density of flies at the Nutrition Division of the RSUDWaluyo Jati measuredby fly grills are as follow: Fly density was highest at washing room, food processing room, and the receptionof raw materials. Type of food preffered by flies were various types of vegetables, meat, and food scrappingsretrieved from patients. Type of waste preferred by flies is wet garbage. The average temperature was 26°Cat the time of the study, while the average humidity is 73%.In order to control flies at the Nutrition Division, it was suggested to the hospital for immediate repair ofhigyene and sanitation facilities at the Nutrition Division by installing fly traps, such as light tra-psor fly traps,practicing clean and healthy behavior by all employess, move or rearrange room assignment, considering thatthe Nutrition division was too close to solid waste temporary holding site, incinerator, and morgue.

Abstract

The proportion of under-five deaths due to pneumonia, according Riskesdas 2007 ranks the second after diarrhea. It is estimated that over 2 million children under five die every year from pneumonia. This study aims to identify risk factors of personal hygiene and home cleaning action with URI incident in children under five in Gadingrejo village, Pasuruan.        This study uses a case control design. The subject of this study were housewives who have children suffering from URI in December 2015 - January 2016. The sample were 40 cases and 40 controls. Sampling was carriedout by Simple Random Sampling. The data collection technique used questionnaire. The collected data was then analyzed by Odd Ratio calculation.        The OR value of personal hygiene with URI was 2.51 and OR  value of cleaning action with URI was 2.57. Poor personal hygiene indicated 2.51 times greater risk of a toddler suffering from URI than good personal hygiene. Poor cleaning action also indicated 2.57 times greater risk of a toddler suffering from URI than good house cleaning action.        This study indicates that personal hygiene and home cleaning action is a risk factor of URI in children under five in Gadingrejo village, Pasuruan 2016. Counseling regarding hand washing and house cleaning on a regular basis can increase public knowledge that leads to changes in people's behavior. Abstract

Rhodamin B merupakan zat warna tambahan yang dilarang penggunaannya dalam produkpangan.Tujuan penelitian mengetahui kandungan Rhodamin B secara kualitatif saus jajanan yang di jual disekolah dasar serta untuk mengetahui besar tingkat pengetahuan pedagang tentang penggunaanzat pewarna sintetik yang dilarang penggunaannya.Penelitian ini bersifat “Deskriptif” menggambarkan ada tidaknya kandungan Rhodamin B pada sausyang dijual di Sekolah Dasar Negeri. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu semua merksaus yang dijual pedagang jajanan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri dan pedagang tetap yang ada di 31Sekolah Dasar Negeri. Analisa data dilakukan secara deskriptif yaitu pemeriksaan organoleptik,pemeriksaan kimia, serta tingkat pengetahuan pedagang saus . Hasil pemeriksaan fisik saus bahwa 2 dari 3 sampel tidak menampakkan ciri  yang mengandung Rhodamin B sedangkan 1 sampel menampakkan ciri yang mengandung Rhodamin B. Penilaiantingkat pengetahuan pedagang jajanan bahwa 3 pedagang memiliki pengetahuan “Kurang”dan 28pedagang memiliki pengetahuan “Cukup”. Sebagian besar saus menunjukkan ciri penggunaan Rhodamin B dan produsen yang positifmenggunakan saus mengandung Rhodamin B mempunyai pengetahuan “Cukup”. Masyarakatsebagai pembeli harus teliti dalam membeli jajanan yang menggunakan saus, dan harus telitidalam mengetahui ciri-ciri saus yang mengandung Rhodamin B.
