Abstract

AbstrakKondisi sampah di kota sorong saat ini menjadi pusat perhatian masyarakat pada umumnya di sebabkan tumpukan sampah di laut. Bertambah  jumlah penduduk dan perubahan gaya hidup masyarakat, telah meningkatkan jumlah sampah serta ketidaksadaran masyarakat dalam membuang sampah tidak pada tempatnya sehingga menimbulkan berbagai  masalah, salah satu masalah diantaranya yang sering terjadi menumpuknya sampah di laut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeteksi sampah secara  otomatis berbasis urduino nano dengan desain mekanika dan elektonik Kapal. Prototype kapal pendeteksi sampah dan pengambil  sampah otomatis berbasis arduino nano di rancang dari desain mekanik, komponen elektronik dan rancagan program.  Perancangan program otomatis sebagai  tujuan untuk  membersihkan sampah dilaut  tanpa campur tangan manusia dan dapat menjaga ekosistem laut karena seluruh proses kerja kapal di kerjakan oleh system. Dengan demikian dari hasil uji coba kerja prototype  kapal dapat bekerja sesuai dengan fungsinya sebagai pendeteksi dan pengambil sampah otomatis.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama dan mendasar pada penelitian ini adalah kurangnya kemampuanlari gawang pada siswa kelas V MIS Karya Tayyibah Kayumalue Pajeko. Tujuan penelitianadalah untuk mengetahui apakah dengan penerapan metode modifikasi gawang dapatmeningkatkan kemampuan lari gawang pada siswa kelas V MIS Karya Tayyibah KayumaluePajeko. Untuk menjawab permasalahan di atas, peneliti melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas.Rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas ini mengikuti model alur Aqib Zainal yang dilakukandalam dua siklus, dengan setiap siklus melalui empat tahap yaitu: (1) perencanaan, (2)Pelaksanaan Tindakan, (3) Observasi, dan (4) refleksi. Teknik analisis data adalah denganmelihat daya serap siswa dan daya serap klasikal. Hasil penelitian, pada siklus 1, siswa yangdinyatakan tuntas sebanyak 16 orang atau 61,53% yang tidak tuntas 10 orang atau 38,46%.Pada siklus 2 terjadi peningkatan siswa yang dinyatakan tuntas 22 orang atau 84,61%, yangbelum tuntas 4 orang atau 15,38%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa denganpenerapan metode modifikasi gawang terhadap kemampuan lari gawang menunjukkanpeningkatan yang berarti.

Abstract

Supervision; observe, supervise / guide and stimulate activities. Activities carried out by others with a view to making improvements through the selection of teaching tools and better teaching methods, ways of systematic assessment of the whole phase of the teaching process. The quality of education is influenced by many components, there are three main components that are interrelated and have a strategic position in teaching and learning activities. The three components are the curriculum, the teacher and the student, the teacher occupies a central position because its role is crucial considering that in learning a teacher must be able to translate the values contained in the curriculum optimally. The aim is to improve student learning outcomes by experimenting with class action and supervision. The results of the study there are significant differences between the VA class and Class VB p / value less than 0.05 and there is an influence between planning, implementation and assessment according to the results of optimization analysis.

Abstract

Critical thinking is an effective and reasonable thinking process that focuses on beliefs and actions that are carried out reliably. Critical thinking skills have an important role in improving human quality. However, critical thinking skills in schools have not been empowered properly. Until now, conventional learning is still a common model in learning because it is considered to be an option to be applied to an application of learning that requires a relatively short time, the scope of the material taught is wider and can equip students with conceptual understanding. The learning approach that must be taken by the teacher in improving students' critical thinking skills is to use cooperative learning. The model that is expected to empower students' critical thinking is STAD type cooperative learning. This research is a quasi-experimental research (quasi-experimental). Experimental research aims to determine the effect of the STAD learning model on the critical thinking skills of multiethnic junior high school students in Ternate City. The design used in this research is the Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The number of samples was 38 students consisting of students from SMP Negeri 2 which opened 18 people and SMP Negeri 3 which found 20 people. The entire sample of students consisted of ethnic Ternate 13, Makian 12 and Tidore 13 students. The STAD learning model has a significant effect on the critical thinking ability of multiethnic students in Ternate City Junior High School, ethnicity has a significant effect on the critical thinking ability of multiethnic students in Ternate City Junior High School and the interaction of learning and ethnic models significantly affects students' critical thinking skills. Further test results showed that the STAD learning model might improve the critical thinking skills of Ternate, Makian and Tidore ethnic students.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keterampilan metakognisi siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA Biologi SMP di Kota Ternate. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian menggunkan pendekatan diskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan sampel yaitu dengan menggunakan cara random, penentuan sampel dilakukan secara strata berdasarkan wilayah, yang terdiri dari SMP Negeri 4 wilayah kota dan SMP Negeri 11 wilayah pulau Ternate, denga jumlah sampel sebanyak 40 siswa yang terdiri dari 20 siswa SMP Negeri 4 dan 20 siswa SMP Negeri 11pulau Ternate. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa hasil tes, dengan jumlah sebanyak 5 soal dan bentuk soal esaay yang disusun berdasarkan tiga indikator peneilaian keterampilan metakognisi. Berdasrkan hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata keterampilan metakognisi siswa kelas VII SMP 4 Kota Ternate sebesar 57,18 dan SMP Negeri 11 pulau Ternate sebesar 48,63 dengan selisih perolehan 8,55 namun kedua sekolah masuk pada kategori Development, dapat dikatakan bahwa keterampilan metakognisi siswa masih rendah. Renadahnya keterampilan metakognisi siswa diduga karena guru belum memberdayakan keterampilan metakognisi dengan baik. Pendekatan pembelajaran yang digunakan guru masih bersifat konvensional. Abstract

This research is important to be carried out in the Basic Teaching Ability course in the Biology Education Study Program, FKIP Unkhair because this course is one of the cores that support a graduate to become a prospective biology teacher. The purpose of this research is to produce case-oriented teaching materials to improve the 21st century skills of students in the Basic Teaching Skills course. This type of research is research and development with the ADDIE development model. The results showed that the results of the validation of the syllabus on the content aspect presented had a validation level of 95.33, the category was very valid, the discussion aspect had a validation level of 98.00 and the time aspect obtained was 98.00. It can be concluded that the three aspects are considered very good and suitable for use in the learning process with an average percentage of 97.11. Furthermore, at the evaluation stage, a limited test was conducted to determine the effectiveness of using case-oriented teaching materials to improve students' 21st century skills. The trial was conducted on second semester students of the Khairun University biology education study program. The test results show that there is an increase in the 21st century skills of students after learning by using case-oriented teaching materials

Abstract

Kajian hubungan ganda antara keterampilan metakognisi, berpikir kritis, sikap sosial terhadap retensi dimungkinkan akan memberikan informasi yang lebih baik mengenai bagaimana ketiga variabel tersebut dalam menjelaskan retensi. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengungkap adanya hubungan antara keterampilan metakognisi, berpikir kritis, dan sikap sosial dengan retensi pada mata pelajaran IPA untuk siswa SMP di Kota Ternate. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri Kota Ternate tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 sebanyak 115 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini dipilih secara acak ( Random Sampling) dan tersebar dalam tiga kelas. Pada setiap kelas sebelumnya sudah diuji kesetaraan dengan soal placement test berbentuk pilihan ganda yang valid dan reliabel, sehingga ditemukan jumlah sampel 53 Siswa. Analisis uji kesetaraan menggunkan SPSS23 for windows. Keterampilan metakognisi, kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan retensi diukur dengan menggunakan tes essay yang sama dan dilakukan diawal dan diakhir pembelajaran. Sikap sosial diukur dengan menggunakan angket. Rubrik yang digunakan untuk menilai keterampilan metakognisi terdiri dari skala (0-7), rubrik kemampuan berpikir kritis yang dengan skala (0-5), sikap sosial dengan skala (1-4) dan rubrik retensi dengan skala (0-4). Berdasarkan temuan hasil dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan keterampilan metakognisi, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan sikap sosial terhadap retensi siswa di SMP Kota Ternate. Tidak ada hubungan antara ketiga prediktor terhadap retensi menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari faktor lain diluar dari variabel yang diteliti, yakni faktor akademik dan non akademik.

Abstract

Smoked skipjack (Katsuwonus pelamis) and Tuna Tongkol (Euthinus Affinis) are one of the traditional processed products which are classified as smoked fish. The principle of processing is to give a certain amount of smoke with a certain smoking time to fresh fish, then smoked, smoking back and forth the smoked fish again until a distinctive aroma and quality of smoked fish can be smelled. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of smoking time on the quality of smoked fish. This research is an experimental research. In this study, the researchers described the results of the assessment of the treatment carried out in smoking tuna and skipjack by using a long duration of smoking. Fish smoking equipment that has different functions and is made using a tongs grill consisting of 6 treatments. Each treatment was seen from the length of smoking 1-5 hours. After that, an analysis of the assessment of the panelists consisting of 10 panelists was carried out. The assessment procedure uses an assessment sheet. The value consists of taste, aroma, color and texture. From the results of the assessment then analyzed using the percentage formula. The results of the percentage analysis showed that the administration of various smoking with different durations of time in six treatments and one control resulted in significantly different results. This is indicated by the panelists' scores from the percentage formula

Abstract

If students are interested in the subjects they are studying, they will understand the concept of biology that is being taught. Students' interest in learning is thought to be influenced by the use of instructional media, such as powerpoint-based subject matter. The purpose of this study is to ascertain whether class X students at SMAN 4 Ternate City are interested in studying biology. A questionnaire with 30 statement items that students filled out on a Google form is used in this type of research. Students' enjoyment, interest, and involvement in biology are all identified as indicators of interest in the questionnaire. The foundation of data analysis is the process of interpreting each student's questionnaire scores into very good, good, poor, and not good categories. The results of the study revealed that indicators of student enjoyment were 65.82 percent, student interest was 71.53 percent, attention was 72.21 percent, and involvement was 78.30 percent. According to the findings of this study, 71.97% of students have a moderate level of interest when using powerpoint media to participate in biology lessons. When the teacher shows and displays PowerPoint media and there are certain parts of the material that students do not understand, students will attempt to read repeatedly on biology material on PowerPoint media and ask the teacher if they do not. This is one of the very best indicators of student involvement in biology learning.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, digital literacy has become one of the competencies that students must possess. Rarely can one find research that examines the effect of the WE-ARe model on digital literacy in biology education. WE-ARe is a constructivist-based active learning model consisting of Warm-up, Exploring, Argumentation, and Resume phases that emphasize students’ collaborative and elaborative qualities. The objective of the study was to determine the impact of the WE-ARe model on the digital literacy of future biology teacher candidates. This is a quasi-experimental study using the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research population comprised all Tadris Biology students from IAIN Ternate and STKIP Kie Raha in the City of Ternate, North Maluku, Indonesia. The research sample contained 60 fourth-semester students from the Department of Tadris Biology. The validity score for the literacy digital instrument was 3.89 (very valid), while the correlation value (r-calculated) was 0.585. The Cronbach-Alpha analysis showed a score of 0.939, indicating that the literacy digital instrument was valid and reliable for use in data collection. This study was conducted during the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The data were analyzed through ANACOVA using 5% level of significance. The results demonstrated that the WE-ARe model had an impact on the preservice biology teachers’ digital literacy. The findings of this study provide an insight on the use of a new learning model that can be used to enhance students’ 21st century skills.
