Abstract

This research aimed to examine the relationship between team cohesiveness and self efficacy togetherly with achievement of the waterpolo team, whereas the specifics goals to be sought are : (1) the relationship between cohesiveness and the achievement of the water polo team, (2) the relationship between self efficacy and the team achievement (3) the differences between cohesiveness degree and self efficacy of each water polo team.            The subject of the research were water polo athletes taking part ini National Games (PON) XV in the year of 2000 in Surabaya comprising 65 people. The method and the instrument used are questionnaire method modified Likert scale. The team cohesion questionnaire (TCQ) instrucment is used to find out the team cohesiveness. Additionally, self efficacy scale contructed from Bandura theory is employed to figure out self efficacy.            The computation using regression analysis in the value of R = 0,951 (p < 0,05). It implies that the there exist a positif and significant relationship between team cohesiveness as well as self efficacy along with achievement of water polo team. Product moment analysis is carried out of seek the relationship between team cohesiveness and the team achievement resulting in the value of r = 0,973, whereas the relationship between self efficacy and the achievement of water polo team meet the value of r =0,975. Based on the one-way varian analysis, the significant difference (F=19,117) of the team cohesiveness as well as self efficacy (F=26,542) of each water polo team is revealed. Key Words    :   Cohesiveness team, Self efficacy, Achievemant, Water polo

Abstract

Penelitian tentang kecemasan dan prestasi sering dilakukan dalam dunia olahraga. Namun belum ada penelitian yang menghubungkan kedua variabel tersebut dengan bulutangkis Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kecemasan terhadap prestasi atlet. Metode yang digunakan adalah retrospective causal-comparative design atau biasa disebut ex-post facto research. Subjek penelitian ini adalah atlet elit remaja bulutangkis Indonesia yang bertanding di Cirebon Open 2019 berjumlah 41 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Competitive State Anxiety Inventory-2 (CSAI-2) dan dokumen prestasi yang diperoleh dari panitia Cirebon Open 2019. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada efek yang signifikan dari kecemasan terhadap prestasi atlet. Oleh karena itu, sangat dianjurkan untuk menghilangkan kecemasan pada atlet melalui peningkatan arousal.

Abstract

Di perguruan tinggi, dosen memegang peran  sangat penting bagi kemajuan institusi dan pembentukan karakter mahasiswa. Namun, sudah bukan rahasia lagi banyak dosen mengabaikan tugas pokok mengajar.  Bagi sebagian besar dosen, tugas mengajar telah dijadikan prioritas kedua. Di sisi lain Hatten, dkk (2001) menegaskan bahwa satu masalah utama dewasa ini adalah sangat sedikit pendidik yang mengajarkan perilaku etis terhadap peserta didik. Makalah hasil penelitian ini akan mengungkap sejauh mana keteladanan dosen dan penerapan nilai-nilai moral selama perkuliahan Psikologi Olahraga dapat meningkatkan karakter kepatuhan dan kejujuran mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan kerangka Lesson Study. Tindakan yang dilakukan untuk memecahkan masalah tersebut dengan cara menyusun rancangan pembelajaran mata kuliah Psikologi Olahraga yang bermuatan nilai-nilai moral yang disampaikan dosen selama proses pembelajaran, dan keteladan dosen, yaitu prilaku disiplin datang tepat waktu setiap akan memberi kuliah atau mengajar. A teacher's integrity, or lack thereof, is observed by students.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keteladanan dosen dalam wujud selalu memberi contoh datang tepat waktu dalam mengajar mata kuliah Psikologi Olahraga dapat meningkatkan karakter kepatuhan mahasiswa, yaitu datang tepat waktu atau tidak terlambat dalam mengikuti perkuliahan. Begitu juga dosen yang menyelipkan nilai-nilai moral selama mengajar mata kuliah Psikologi Olahraga dapat memberi dampak terhadap terbentuknya karakter kejujuran mahasiswa, yaitu perilaku jujur atau tidak melakukan tindakan menyontek dalam ujian.Kata kunci: dosen, keteladanan, karakter, kepatuhan, kejujuran, mahasiswa THE LECTURER’S PATRONAGE AND THE INTEGRATION OF MORAL VALUES IN SPORT PSYCHOLOGY TEACHING AS A MEANS TO BUILD THE STUDENTS’ OBEDIENCE AND HONESTYAbstractThis research aims to  identify the impacts of lecturers’ patronage and the implementation of  moral values in  Sport Psychology subject on the  obedience and honesty character of the students of PJKR Study Program, Faculty of Sports Science,Yogyakarta State University. To achieve the objective and provide clearer direction, this research was conducted based on the Lesson Study framework. The action to solve the problem was performed by developing Sport Psychology Lesson Plan  containing  moral values  that the lecturer presented during teaching processes and the lecturers’ patronage through  punctuality in coming to class and discipline  in providing the lecture. The target of the action involved Class A Semester 5 students of PJKR  Study Program attending the  Sport Psychology subject. The result of this research indicates that the lecturers’ patronage  in terms of providing examples, i.e.  coming to class on time to teach the  Sport Psychology subject, is able to improve the students’ obedience, i.e. coming to lecture on time or not  late  in attending  the Sport Psychology subject. Moreover, the lecturer  that integrates the  moral values during the teaching of Sport Psychology subject is able to provide impact on the  students’ honesty character, i.e. honest behavior  or not  cheating during  examination.Keywords: lecturer, patronage, character, obedience, honesty, students

Abstract

Although the job demands-resources model (JD-R) is getting much attention in the literature, there is limited, if any, empirical research in Indonesia. This study used the JD-R model to predict job satisfaction in Indonesia with a sample of 17,177 employees. Using data from the 5th wave of the Indonesian Family Life Survey, Exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and structural equation modeling (SEM) were performed for data analysis. The main findings revealed a positive relationship between job resources and job satisfaction, and a negative relationship between challenging job demands and job satisfaction beyond the contribution of gender, age, education, marital status, and job type. The findings of this study suggest that managers should provide employees with more resources and engage them in crafting behaviors.Keywords: job demands, job resources, job satisfaction, JD-R model, Indonesia

Abstract

Player-based psychological skills are an important factor that any coach should understand. Unfortunately, up to date there has not been any study that deals with the disclosure of player-based psychological skills especially for basketball athletes. Therefore, through the conduct of the study the researchers would like to identify the psychological skills of basketball athletes based on the playing position namely forward, guard and centre. The nature of the study is a quantitative-descriptive research with the retrospective causal-comparative design or ex-post factor design. Then, during the conduct of the study the researchers selected 24 basketball athletes who consisted of 11 forwards, 9 guards and 4 centres as the sample. In gathering the data, the instrument that had been implemented was the Psychological Skills Inventory for Sports (PSIS R-5). After the data had been gathered, the data were analysed by means of one way-ANOVA with the support from SPSS for the calculation. The results of the study show that there are significant differences on the psychological skills of the basketball athletes based on the playing position. Furthermore, it is also found that the basketball players who occupy the forward position has higher score of psychological skills in comparison to the basketball athletes who occupy the guard position and the centre position.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh metode latihan imajeri dan metode latihan konsentrasi terhadap keberhasilan tendangan penalti pemain sepak bola, (2) pengaruh keyakin-an diri tinggi dan keyakinan diri rendah terhadap keberhasilan tendangan penalti pemain sepak bola, (3) interaksi antara metode latihan mental dan keyakinan diri terhadap keberhasilan tendangan penalti pemain sepak bola. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2 x 2, dengan tes awal dan tes akhir pada empat kelompok yang diberi perlakuan dua metode. Populasi penelitian adalah pemain sepak bola klub Ps Gama dengan jumlah keseluruhan 58 atlet. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes keyakinan diri, untuk mengukur tingkat keyakinan diri pemain sepak bola. Instrumen untuk mengukur keberhasilan tendangan penalti atlet menggunakan modifikasi penalty precision test. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Analisis Varian (ANAVA) dua jalur yang dilanjutkan dengan uji rentang Newman Keuls pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) ada perbedaan pengaruh antara metode latihan imajeri dan metode latihan konsentrasi terhadap keberhasilan tendangan penalti, terbukti dari nilai p = 0,002 0.05, (2) ada perbedaan pengaruh antara pemain sepak bola yang mempunyai keyakinan diri tinggi dan keyakinan diri rendah terhadap keberhasilan tendangan penalti, terbukti dari nilai p = 0,012 0,05, (3) ada interaksi antara metode latihan mental dan keyakinan diri terhadap keberhasilan tendangan penalti, terbukti dari nilai p =  0,004 0,05.  THE EFFECT OF MENTAL TRAINING AND SELF EFFICACY ON RESULTS OF PENALTY KICK OF FOOTBALL PLAYERS   Abstract This study aimed to determine: (1) the effect between imagery training method and concentra-tion training method on the results penalty kick of football players, (2) the effect between the high self efficacy and low self efficacy on the results penalty kick of football players and, (3) the interaction between mental training method and self efficacy on the results penalty kick of football players. The research is experimental with 2 x 2 factorial design and used pretest-posttest involving four groups with treatments by two methods. The population of the research was 58 male football players from football club PS Gama Yogyakarta. The data were collected through self efficacy test, which measured the self efficacy level of football players. The instrument for measuring the result of penalty kick used modification of penalty precision test. The data analysis technique used is the variant analysis (ANOVA) followed by two lines Newman Keuls range test at significance level α = 0.05. The results of this study indicate that: (1) there is a significant difference between imagery training method and concentration training method, it is evident from the value of p = 0.002 0.05, (2) there is a significant difference between football players with high self efficacy and low self efficacy on the results of penalty kick, it is evident from the value of p = 0.012 0.05, (3) there is an interaction between mental training and self efficacy on the results of penalty kick, it is evident from the value of p = 0.004 0.05. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan: (1) karakteristik psikologis atlet SEA Games Indonesia ditinjau dari cabang olahraga individu, (2) ditinjau dari cabang olahraga tim, (3) perbedaan karakteristik psikologis atlet SEA Games Indonesia ditinjau dari cabang olahraga individu berdasarkan jenis kelamin, dan (4) olahraga tim berdasarkan jenis kelamin. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah ex-post facto. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian populasi. Semua subjek dalam populasi diikutsertakan dalam penelitian dengan jumlah 273 atlet. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner The Psychological Skills Inventory for Sports. Teknik analisis data menggunakan independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) karakteristik psikologis atlet SEA Games Indonesia ditinjau dari cabang olahraga individu dalam kategori tinggi (2) ditinjau dari cabang olahraga tim dalam kategori tinggi (3) tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan karakteristik psikologis atlet SEA Games Indonesia ditinjau dari cabang olahraga individu berdasarkan jenis kelamin dengan nilai sig. = 0,092  0,05; dan (4) ada perbedaan yang signifikan karakteristik psikologis atlet SEA Games Indonesia ditinjau dari cabang olahraga tim berdasarkan jenis kelamin dengan nilai nilai sig. = 0,000 0,05. The psychological characteristics of Indonesian Sea Games athletes in terms of sports and sex AbstractThis research was aimed to investigate : (1) the psychological characteristics of  Indonesian SEA Games athletes in terms of individual sports, (2) in terms of team sports, (3) the psychological characteristic differences of Indonesian SEA Games athletes in terms of individual sports based on sex, and (4) the psychological characteristic differences of  Indonesian SEA Games athletes in terms of team sports based on sex. This research employed the quantitative approach using the survey method with a restrospective causal-comparative design. This research was population research. All subjects in the population were included in this research with a total of 273 athletes. The data were collected using the Psychological Skills Inventory for Sports questionnaire and analyzed using the independent sample t test at. The research findings revealed that: (1) the psychological characteristics of  Indonesian SEA Games athletes in terms of individual sports were in a high category, (2) the psychological characteristics of  Indonesian SEA Games athletes in terms of team sports are in high category, (3) there were no significant differences in the psychological characteristics of  Indonesian SEA Games athletes in terms of individual sports based on sex sig. values = 0.092  0.05, and (4) there were significant differences in the psychological characteristics of Indonesian SEA Games athletes in terms of team sports based on sex with sig. values = 0.000 0.05.

Abstract

 Perilaku prososial penting dimiliki perawat di rumah sakitkarena dapat menentukan citra dan kualitas pelayanan rumah sakit. Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruhagreeablenessterhadap perilaku prososial pada perawat Rumah Sakit Umum di Kabupaten Sleman Daerah Isitimewa Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah ex-post facto. Subjek dalam penelitian ini di pilih berdasarkan stratified random sampling yaitu 100 orang perawat yang bekerja di Rumah Sakit Umum Kabupaten Sleman, Rumah Sakit Umum Hermina Yogyakarta, Rumah Sakit Umum Mitra Paramedika yang ada di Kabupaten Sleman Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan skala. Teknik validitas menggunakan validitas isi. Teknik realibilitas menggunakan teknik reliabilitas alpha cronbach. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh agreeableness terhadap perilaku prososial.

Abstract

Bermain menjadi salah satu cara anak belajar dan meningkatkan kemampuannya. Melalui bermain membuat anak jadi sehat secara fisik maupun psikis, membantu pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak khususnya kemampuan motorik kasar. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui keefektifan permainan estafet sebagai salah satu kegiatan yang menggunakan fisik motorik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar anak usia 5-6 tahun. Permainan estafet ini memiliki 4 kegiatan bermain yang didalamnya terdapat kegiatan yang mengandung unsur motorik kasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasiexperiment dengan one group pretest-posttest design, dan melibatkan 15 anak disalah satu TK di Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan pada bulan September 2020. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan permainan estafet terhadap kemampuan motorik kasar anak usia 5-6 tahun. Kegiatan permainan estafet ini juga dapat menjadi salah satu acuan kegiatan pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar anak di sekolah maupun diluar sekolah.

Abstract

In general, gymnastics is only imitation of movement from beginning to end but in this study gymnastics is combined with stories that are imagined by children, which are then realized into motion with the aim of stimulating the creativity of early childhood movements. In this research si buyung’s gymnastic modified to be warming up, creative movements, and cooling down. The research was quantitative quasi-experimental method with one group time-series design on 52 children aged 4-5 years in Yogyakarta. Data collection used interviews and observations, then analyzed with Kruskal Wallis. The results showed that implemented si buyung’s gymnastic effectively to increase the movement creativity of children aged 4-5 years is evidenced by the acquisition of asymp.sig p-value. 0,000 <0.05 which means there is a significant difference in the average ranking of children's creativity in each treatment.
