Abstract

Many traditional games originated from several local regions in Indonesia, especially Yogyakarta, may nurture learning in early childhood education. The study aims to explore the teachers’ perception in implementing, understanding, and adapting traditional games that could develop students’ motor skills in kindergarten. This research employed a quantitative descriptive approach with a questionnaire as its instrument, involving 35 kindergarten teachers The questionnaire was validated using an Aiken-V, The results showed that the teachers’ perspectives of traditional games were generally limited to a superficial understanding and were not yet deep in terms of its benefits to other learning aspects. The implementation of traditional games in learning was heterogeneous and merely based on the understanding of each teacher. To adapt traditional games, teachers relied on the curriculum sources and were reluctant to enrich themselves with other sources. It was concluded that the teachers have not been fully able to use the traditional games in physical motor learning in kindergarten. To integrate them in learning, teachers must deepen their understanding of traditional games and get to know the characteristics of early childreen.

Abstract

This study was aimed at finding out the significance of safety education implemented the physical education teachers of the lower grade of the elementary school during the teaching-learning process. The study was is descriptive qualitative with one variable, namely implementation of safety education. The research subjects were 1,368 physical education teachers of state elementary schools in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, selected by cluster random sampling of 200 teachers from each school. The study was a survey using questionnaires to collect data. Data analysis was descriptive quantitative using percentages. Findings show that safety education implemented by the lower grade of elementary school physical education teachers is described as follows. First, in the fair category in general =  82.69%, in the environmental aspect = 78.92%, in the student aspect = 81.94 %), and in the weather aspect =  73.65%. Second, in the good caregory, in the human aspect =  86.46% and in the teacher aspect = 90.99%IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN KESELAMATAN DALAM PEMBELAJARAN OLAHRAGAPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pendidikan keselamatan oleh guru Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan (penjasorkes) SD kelas bawah dalam proses pembelajaran penjasorkes. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan satu variabel, yaitu implementasi pendidikan keselamatan. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah guru penjasorkes SD Negeri se-Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) yang berjumlah 1.386 orang. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 200 orang yang diambil secara random (acak) dengan teknik cluster sampling atau area sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode survei dengan teknik angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan implementasi pendidikan keselamatan yang dilakukan oleh guru penjasorkes SD kelas bawah dalam proses pembelajaran penjasorkes adalah sebagai berikut. Pertama, yang termasuk dalam kategori cukup adalah secara keseluruhan (82,69%), berdasarkan aspek lingkungan (78,92%), aspek peserta didik (81,94%), aspek fisik (84,19%), dan aspek cuaca (73,65%). Kedua, yang termasuk kategori baik adalah berdasarkan aspek manusia (86,46%) dan aspek guru (90,99%).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan model permainan untuk pembelajaran teknik dasar bola basket di sekolah menengah pertama. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan. Pengembangan produk model permainan untuk pembelajaran teknik dasar bola basket di sekolah menengah pertama dilakukan dalam tujuh tahapan, yaitu: (1) pengumpulan hasil riset dan informasi, (2) analisis terhadap produk yang akan dikembangkan, (3) mengembangkan produk awal, (4) validasi ahli, (5) uji coba skala kecil dan revisi, (6) uji coba skala besar dan revisi, dan (7) pembuatan produk final. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak sekolah menengah pertama. Uji coba skala kecil dilakukan terhadap 25 siswa SMP N 4 Pandak. Uji coba skala besar dilakukan terhadap 56 siswa SMP N 1 Pandak dan SMP N 3 Pandak. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu: (1) pedoman wawancara, dan (2) pedoman observasi pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini berupa model permainan untuk pembelajaran teknik dasar bola basket di sekolah menengah pertama yang berisikan sembilan permainan, yaitu: (1) Lempar Nama, (2) Lempar Target, (3) Lempar Gerak, (4) Fun Dribbling, (5) Target Dribbling, (6) Kejar Mengejar, (7) Tembak Tongkat, (8) Rintang Tali, dan (9) Happy Game. Dari hasil penilaian para ahli dan guru, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa model permainan yang disusun sangat sesuai dengan karakteristik serta pertumbuhan dan perkembangan teknik dasar pada anak sekolah menengah pertama.Kata Kunci: permainan, teknik dasar, bola basket Developing Game Models for Basketball Basic Technique Learning in Junior High School AbstractThe research aims to create game models for basketball basic learning technique in Junior High School. The research approach used is Research and Development. The development of the game model products for basketball basic technique learning process in Junior High School was devided into seven steps: (1) collecting research result and information, (2) products development analysis, (3) primary product development, (4) expert validation, (5) small-scale testing and revision, (6) large-scale testing and revision, and (7) creating final product. The research subjects are Junior High School students. The small-scale testing involved 25 students of SMPN 4 Pandak.  The main field test involved 56 students of SMPN 1 Pandak and SMPN 3 Pandak. The data collecting instruments are: (1) interview and (2) learning observation. The data analysis techniques employed are descriptive quantitative and descriptive qualitative techniques. The research results are game models for basketball basic learning technique in Junior High School. There are nine game models: (1) Name Throw, (2) Target Throw, (3) Moving Throw, (4) Fun Dribbling, (5) Target Dribbling, (6) Tag Game, (7) Stick Shooting, (8) Rope Barricad, and (9) Happy Game. From the judgement result of the experts and teachers it can be concluded that the game models are very suitable for Junior High School students characteristics and also their growth and development on the basic techniques.Keywords: games, basic technique, basketball

Abstract

Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik sekolah menengah atas kelas X. Uji coba skala kecil dilakukan terhadap 32 peserta didik SMA N 1 Kartasura, dan 30 peserta didik SMA N 2 Sukoharjo. Uji coba skala besar dilakukan terhadap 32 peserta didik SMA N 1 Boyolali, 33 peserta didik SMA N 1 Banyudono, dan 36 peserta didik SMA N 2 Boyolali. Uji keefektifan dilakukan terhadap  32 peserta didik SMA N 7 Surakarta. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu: (1) pedoman wawancara, (2) pedoman observasi pembelajaran, dan (3) GPAI. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini berupa model pembelajaran kolary untuk permainan bola basket di SMA. Dari hasil penilaian para ahli dan praktisi, model pembelajaran kolary memiliki validitas 0,988 sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran kolary yang disusun dapat meningkatkan keterampilan dribbling, passing, dan shooting dan aspek afektif yang terdiri atas kerja sama, disiplin, dan sportif. Di samping itu, model pembelajaran kolary juga sangat sesuai dengan karakteristik, pertumbuhan, dan perkembangan peserta didik serta mampu membuat peserta didik lebih mudah untuk mempelajari teknik dasar permainan bola basket di SMA. Developing kolary instructional model for a basketball game in senior high school Abstract: The purpose of this study is to produce the kolary instructional model for a basketball game in senior high school. The approach taken in this study was research and development. The subjects were the tenth grade of high school. The preliminary field test was conducted on 32 students of the X grade in SMA N 1 Kartasura and 30 students of the X grade students of SMA N 2 Sukoharjo. The preliminary field test was conducted on 32 students of SMA N 1 Boyolali, 33 students of SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono, and 36 students of SMA N 2 Boyolali. The evaluation of the effectiveness was conducted on 32 students of SMA N 7 Surakarta. The data collection instruments used were: (1) interview (2) observation learning guide, and (3) GPAI. The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research were a learning model kolary for the game of basketball in high school. From the results of the assessment experts and practitioners' learning model kolary has a validity of 0,988 it could be concluded that the learning model kolary was drafted to improve the skills of dribbling, passing, and shooting and affective aspects consisting of operation, discipline, and sportsmanship. The learning models kolary in accordance with the characteristics and growth and development of students and students are able to make it easier to learn the basic techniques of basketball in high school.

Abstract

This study aims to develop performance assessment instruments in the MI (Multiple Intelligences) based basketball game by: (1) proving the validity of the content of the instrument, (2) proving the validity of the instrument construct, (3) conducting a model fit analysis and item fit with IRT (Item Response Theory), and (4) analyzing the effectiveness of the developed instrument product. Methods in developing assessment models using IDDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The research subjects used were 1053 students in five schools in five districts in Yogyakarta Province. The development of a scoring model resulted in (1) the validity of the contents of the five raters using the V-Aiken method yielding a value of 0.92; (2) the validity of the performance instrument construct shows 28 aspects of the warning with a loading factor of 0.3; (3) the fit model for this instrument matches the ability of the learner between -4.817 to 2.24; (4) the effectiveness of the product showed a high value, i.e., 38% of users felt "very satisfied," 56% of users felt "satisfied," and 6% of users felt "dissatisfied."

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan lari zig-zag terhadap peningkatan kelincahan atlet bulutangkis. Manfaat dari penelitian ini , 1) secara teoritis penelitian ini membuka paradigma di bidang kepelatihan secara umum dan secara khusus pada olahraga bulutangkis agar menggunakan bentuk latihan yang bervariasi, 2) penelitian ini di harapkan menambah pengetahuan kepada para pelatih sehingga memilih bentuk latihan yang sederhana tetapi dapat meningkatkan berbagai kondisi fisik terkhusus kelincahan, 3) sebagai nilai acuan kualitas penelitian selanjutnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan design penelitian one group pretest-postest. Subyek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 15 atlet bulutangkis PB.PT. Satu. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan pengukuran kelincahan dengan alat ukur shuttel run. Teknik analisis data menggunakan bantuan software SPSS 23 untuk menguji normalitas menggunakan uji Shapiro-wilk, homogenitas menggunakan uji One Way Annova dan uji t (pengaruh) menggunakan uji Paired Sampel Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan dari latihan lari zig-zag terhadap peningkatan kelincahan atlet bulutangkis dengan nilai 0,00 < 0,05 dan peningkatan dari perlakuan yang diberikan sebesar 75%. Abstract

The purpose of this writing work is for children to develop gross and fine motor skills, strengthen muscles and bones, improve balance, coordination, and flexibility of the body. In addition, playing can also increase heart and lung strength, and help boost a child's immune system. Play activities also provide important social experiences for children. Through play, children can learn to interact with others, share and work together in teams. This can help improve a child's social and emotional skills. In addition, play activities can also help reduce the risk of obesity in children. This writing method uses a review study method about the fitness condition of children during the online game period. Data analysis in this study used several literature reviews which were then analyzed qualitatively. The conclusion of this writing is that in the increasingly advanced technological era, children tend to spend more time in front of gadget screens and move less. By playing, children can reduce their screen time and increase physical activity. Overall, play activity is very important for the physical fitness and health of children. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Continuous Running Exercise on Increasing Physical Fitness for S1 students of the Sports Science Study Program, Faculty of Sports Science, Padang State University class of 2021/2022. The research method used in this research is a quasi-experimental method. The population in this study were 215 undergraduate students of the FIK UNP Sports Science Study Program, class of 2021/2022. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling, with a total sample of 20 people. The data collection technique uses a physical fitness test research instrument with a 1600 m rockport run. The results of the study were analyzed statistically using a comparison test (t-test) at a significance level of 5%. The results of this study indicate that the average level of physical fitness of the respondents before being given treatment was (45.30), whereas after being given treatment it was (50.35). There is a significant effect of Continuous Running Exercise on Increasing Physical Fitness of Students of the Sports Science Study Program, Faculty of Sports Science, Padang State Universitywith the results showing the tcount value (4.25) > ttable value (1.73).

Abstract

Background and Study Aim. The chronic ankle injury will interfere with the range of motion of the ankle joints, such as dorsiflexion, plantarflexion, inversion, and eversion. The motion of the ankle joint will be painful and limited. However, many methods are applied instead of curing the situation. Thus, the purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of massage therapy for sports injuries using the Ali Satia Graha method on pain and range of motion in the ankle.Material and Methods. This study used a Pre-experimental design with a one-group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects in this study were determined by the perposive sampling technique, so 15 male patients aged 25–50 years were sampled. Where patients have chronic ankle injuries. In this study, the subjects were given treatment in the form of massage therapy for sports injuries using the Ali Satia Graha method. Instruments in the study were a numeric rating scale (NRS) for pain measurement and a goniometer with units of degrees for range of motion. Analysis in this study was assisted using the SPSS version 26 application.Results. The results of the treatment of sports injuries with massage therapy by the Ali Satia Graha method on pain perception showed a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. So it can be said that there is significant effectiveness in reducing pain perception in chronic ankle pain. Furthermore, massage therapy for sports injuries using the ali satia graha method on dorsiflexion, plantarflexion, inversion, and eversion movements shows a significance value of p = 0.000 <0.05. Based on these results, it provides evidence that massage therapy for sports injuries using the Ali Satia Graha method has a significant effect on range of motion in chronic ankles.Conclusions. Based on these results, it has been established that the treatment of sports injuries with massage therapy by the Ali Satia Graha method can reduce pain perception and provide an increase in the range of motion in chronic ankle injuries.
