Abstract

Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo adalah merupakan perguruan tinggi Islam  di bawah organisasi Muhammadiyah. Salah satu tujuan dari perguruan tinngi ini adalah terwujudnya sivitas akademika yang berperilaku  Islami  sesuai dengan  pemahaman  Muhammadiyah dan menghasilkan lulusan yang cerdas, profesioanal, mandiri, dan kompetitif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk : (1) Untuk mengetahui upaya yang dilakukan oleh Lembaga Pengkajian Pendalaman dan Pengamalan Al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan (LP3AK) Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo dalam peningkatan pengamalan Al Islam ; (2) Untuk mengetahui hasil yang dilakukan oleh Lembaga Pengkajian Pendalaman dan Pengamalan Al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan (LP3AK) Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo dalam peningkatan pengamalan Al Islam. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa strategi lembaga pengkajian, pendalaman, dan pengamalan al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan dalam meningkatkan pengamalan al-Islam di Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo  dilakukan dengan 3 cara yaitu :  pertama  melaksanakan kompetensi wajib bidang pembinaan al-Islam dan Kemuhammdiyahan baik dibidang teori maupun dibidang praktek, kedua melaksanakan kompetensi tambahan bidang pembinaan al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan yaitu bidang pengembangan yang meliputi pengembangan bahasa Arab, pengembangan pemikiran Islam dan pengembangan al-Qur’an. Ketiga  melaksanakan penilaian pengamalan al-Islam melalui buku kendali laporan pengamalan AIK.  Hasil dari penelitian  terhadap upaya  yang dilakukan LP3AK untuk meningkatkan pengamalan al-Islam di Universitas  Muhammadiyah Purworejo  sudah berjalan dengan baik dengan hasil   yang baik pula, ini bisa dilihat dari terlaksananya 3 (tiga) upaya tersebut diatas dalam laporan pengamalan al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan yang dilaksanakan setiap semesternya.

Abstract

This research is revieweing the school management based on islamic education. It aims to obtain an overview of the implementation of Islamic boarding school education and a model for the development of education management at the Darul Hikmah Kutoarjo Islamic boarding school. This research problem will focus on how to plan, organize, coordinate, and control Islamic boarding schools. To answer the research problem, this type of qualitative research is used with a descriptive-analysis approach. The results of this study indicate that: a) The Darul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School Education Model is a pesantren education under the auspices of the Darul Hikmah Kutoarjo Foundation. The education pattern of Darul Hikmah Islamic boarding school isa boarding-based modern Islamic boarding school education pattern. In developing the management of the Darul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School, it uses the Target Based Management (MBS) or Management by Objective (MBO) model. The target to be achieved is to focus on education; c) To achieve this education, the management steps taken are: a) Planning. The planning model developed by the Darul Hikmah IslamicBoarding School is a strategic planning model consisting of planning, programming, and budgeting systems; b) Organizing. Organizing is carried out under a decentralized system in the division of powers and tasks and their development; 3) Coordination. Coordination is carried out in an effort to unify a series of activities in the organization of pesantren in order to increase cooperation and togetherness among organizational officials as much as possible; 4) Supervision. Supervision includes monitoring, supervision, evaluation, reporting, and follow-up of assessment results.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengembangan model pendidikan karakter berdasarkan sifat fitrah manusia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (RD). Adapun subjek  atau responden dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika, Pendidikan  Matematika, dan Pendidikan Teknik Otomotif Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Muhammadiyah  Purworejo. Fokus penelitian adalah efektivitas penggunaan model pendidikan karakter. Teknik pengumpulan datanya adalah validasi ahli, angket, wawancara, dan observasi. Analisis data dilakukan ddngan teknik analisis induktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pendidikan karakter yang berdasarkan sifat fitrah manusia dapat diterima oleh oleh dosen dan mahasiswa, hal ini dapat dilihat dari tanggapan responden, 94% responden manyatakan setuju, 2% responden memutuskan tidak setuju dan 4% mengambil sikap abstain, dengan demikian, model pendidikan karakter yang  berdasarkan sifat fitrah manusia dapat dijadikan model pendidikan di Perguruan Tinggi.   Keywords: pengembangan model, pendidikan karakter, sifat fitrah THE DEVELOPMENT OF CHARACTER EDUCATION MODEL  BASED ON HUMAN’S NATURAL CHARACTERISTICS Abstract: This study aimed at developing character education model based on human’s natural characteristics. This was a research and development (RD) study. The subjects or respondents of the study  were students of Physics, Mathematics, Automotive Engineering Education Study Programs, Faculty of Education Science, Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo. The focus of the study was on the  use of character education model. The data collection was conducted through expert judgment, questionnaires,  interviews, and observation. The data were analyzed using an inductive  analysis technique.  The results showed that character education model based on human’s natural characteristics was acceptable to the lecturers and the students. This can be seen from the subjects’ responses: 94% of the respondents stated their agreement, 2% decided to disagree, and 4% were abstain. Hence, the character education model based on human’s natural characteristics can be used as an education model at  the higher education.    Keywords: model development, character education, natural characteristics

Abstract

In the introductory stage, the preliminary research begins through literature study, and then doing in-depth interviews by involving lecturers, as well as doing field surveys by distributing questionnaire as the research instrument by using Likert scale in the form of check list. The instrument is used to measure the respondent’s attitude toward the needs of anti – corruption education in the right model. The result of the questionnaire shows the average scores = 4,1. It means that college students agree with anti – corruption education in UMP to be integrated into the learning of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan. The developmental stages involve 1) the product design (1st draft) by arranging the curriculum and the learning strategies, 2) Validating the design by consulting to the expert of curriculum and evaluating, as well as analyzing the 1st draft which is done by the lecturer of Al-Islam.Commonly, the expert considered that the curriculum is good enough and it only needs perfecting in the assessment section, 3) next, the revision of the product, 4) Evaluation and perfection, then 5) hypothetical model – the last model. In this last stage, it has resulted curriculum, syllabus, SAP and the model of learning strategies which are divided into two – in-class discussion model for the 1st – 6th semesters and model of general stadium through the activity of baitul arqam which is for the 7th and 8th semesters by inviting the law practitioners, ulama, KPK and community leaders. Abstract

Permasalahan mengenai sampah yang kerap ditemui di lingkungan pedesaan adalah penerapan metode pemilahan dan pengelolaan sampah yang kurang tepat guna. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah betambahnya metode pemilahan dan pengelolaan sampah di Desa Prapag Lor yang lebih efektif. Hal yang sama masih terjadi di beberapa dusun di Desa Prapag Lor, Pituruh. Bekerja sama dengan salah satu bank sampah di Desa Prapag Lor, lebih tepatnya bank sampah Sido Maju yang terletak di Dusun Pecitran, mahasiswa KKN-T bekerja sama dengan kepengurusan bank sampah Sido Maju mengadakan sosialisasi dan seminar bank sampah yang bertujuan untuk mengedukasi warga Desa Prapag Lor mengenai pengelolaan sampah yang lebih efektif. Adapun metode pelaksanaan kegiatan sosialisasi dan seminar bank sampah meliputi (1) Observasi bank sampah di Dusun Pecitran, Prapag Lor (2) Kegiatan sosialisasi dan seminar dengan narasumber bank sampah. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah menggunakan metode 3R dan memanfaatkan bank sampah yang telah ada.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the curriculum at SMA Trensains and describe the application of the integration of the Qur'an and science as well as strengthening the integration of the Qur'an and science at SMA Trensains Muhammadiyah Sragen, Central Java. This research is a qualitative field research taking the background of SMA Trensains Muhammadiyah Sragen, Central Java. The results showed that: (1) The curriculum of SMA Trensains is the Unification Curriculum. The Unification Curriculum is a curriculum that combines Science and Islam, Science based on the Quran, the science pesantren curriculum is a collaboration between Quranic material, science material, and language material. In its implementation, the three materials are integrated in pesantren activities for 24 hours. (2) The application of the integration of the Qur'ān and science is carried out through learning with an emphasis on 5 subjects, namely natural science, philosophy of science, Qur'an-hadith, language, and muhammadiyahan studies. (3) Strengthening the integration of the Qur'an and science through natural science deepening programs, including research and observation activities, fismath camp, tahajud physics (midnight), mipa club, guidance of Olympic athletes, public lectures and motivational seminars and training Keywords: Integration of Qur'an and Science ;Application of Integration ; Strengthening of Qur'an and Modern Science.
