Abstract

Diarrhea is an infectious disease which is a major cause of morbidityand mortality in the community. Diarrhea can be caused bygastrointestinal parasites, especially intestinal protozoa. Poor levels ofsanitation and low individual hygiene can lead to contamination of theinfective form of intestinal protozoa into food and drinks. The results ofpre-survey were at RPTRA Harapan Mulia in October 2016 that therewere still people in the settlements still not using personal latrines. Thelevel of cleanliness of mass latrines used collectively is still lacking.Latrines that are not managed properly are a description of sanitation aswell as poor hygiene so that it can disrupt the health of individuals andreduce work productivity and learning achievement. Counseling wascarried out to educate PKK group in Kelurahan Harapan Mulya, aboutthe habit of clean and healthy living through good latrine managementso as not to become a source of contamination into food and drinks, aswell as the correct way of washing hands. The extension method usedwas lectures and discussions with pre and post test assessment. Theextension activity was conducted one visit, on February 23, 2017. Totalrespondents were 27 people and had signed the approval sheet.Assessment of respondents' knowledge which is calculated from the valueof the pre and post test questionnaires shows results that increase by100%. At the end of the activity the respondent was given a leaflet on theprocedure for good hand washing and a kit for hand washing.

Abstract

Pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi dan informasi tentang isu seksualitas kepada remaja tidak lagi dianggapsebagai suatu hal yang tabu. Masyarakat menyadari pentingnya pendidikan kesehatan seksual menjadi langkah awal memberikan akses informasi yang akurat bagi remaja. Informasi dasar mengenai kesehatanreproduksi, keterampilan bernegosiasi tentang hubungan seksual, dan akses untuk mendapatkan pelayanankesehatan reproduksi yang terjangkau menjadi kebutuhan penting bagi remaja. Fakta menunjukkan banyakremaja yang sudah aktif secara seksual baik secara resmi maupun illegal tanpa dibekali pengetahuan yangmemadai dapat berisiko meningkatkan jumlah penderita penyakit menular seksual dan kegiatan aborsi padaremaja. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja tentang pentingnya menghindariperilaku seksual berisiko dan memberikan pengamalan agama dalam kehidupan sehari-harisehingga remaja siap menjalani kehidupan reproduksi yang sehat. Metode yang dilakukan padakegiatan ini adalah penyuluhan tentang kesehatan reproduksi remaja didasarkan pada pemberianpengetahuan kesehatan dan agama kepada remaja menggunakan media power point dan kesempatan tanyajawab. Jumlah peserta edukasi sebanyak 44 orang. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan 82% peserta.menunjukkanpeningkatan pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi pada siswa-siswa SMP N 137 Jakarta

Abstract

Background: Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2(SARS-COV-2) is the cause of Corona Virus Disease-19 (Covid-19) which was designated by the World Health Organisation WHO as a pandemic. In Islam, the occurrence of a plague has occurred in the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW by being ordered to avoid its spread. The spread of Covid-19 can be minimized by carrying out health protocols including vaccinations. Vaccination has benefits to reduce the risk of contracting Covid-19 so that it can form perceptions in the community and begin to not comply with health protocols. This research was conducted on students of the Faculty of Medicine, YARSI University class of 2019 with the aim of assessing whether there is a relationship between vaccination and changes in health protocol discipline.Method: Type of research in the form of an analytical survey with a cross-sectional research design. Questionnaires are distributed with google forms. This research was conducted on students of the Faculty of Medicine, YARSI University class of 2019 as many as 171 respondents. The analysis carried out is univariate and bivariate using pearson correlation.Results: Based on the results of statistical tests, there is a relationship between vaccination and changes in health protocols in respondents. In this study, it was found that respondents were more obedient after vaccination.Conclusion: There is a relationship between vaccination and changes in health protocol compliance.

Abstract

KEYWORDS Vaccine, COVID-19, Pandemic, Medicine, IslamABSTRACT          Background: In 2020, the whole world is experiencing the Covid-19 pandemic. This virus originated in China, precisely in the city of Wuhan, China and was discovered at the end of December 2019. Indonesia was the first country in Southeast Asia to be in the first position of confirmed positive cases of Covid-19. Efforts to break the transmission line from the Covid-19 virus are not only by equalizing vaccination coverage, but also the need for knowledge.Method: This type of research is descriptive quantitative research with cross sectional. The sample in this study were students of the Faculty of Medicine, YARSI University Class of 2019 as many as 171 respondents. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire to determine the level of knowledge and also the level of interest in student vaccination participation related to the use of the Covid-19 vaccine. The data analysis used in this research is univariate data analysis and bivariate data analysis.Results: The characteristics of the respondents in this study consisted of women (71.9%) and men (28.1%) taken from the class of 2019. In this study, the percentage of respondents who had a good level of knowledge was 96.5%, then for respondents who had sufficient knowledge level is 3% and respondents who have less knowledge level are 0.5%. For the percentage of respondents in the interest of participation, the positive interest rate is 99.5% and the negative interest rate is 0.5%. The results of the bivariate analysis test between students' knowledge and interest levels showed that the results of the Correlations p-value test were 0.788 where p 0.05Conclusion: Level of Knowledge About Covid-19 Vaccine and Interest in Participating in Covid Vaccination has a strong correlation.

Abstract

The results of the Ministry of Health's Indonesian Nutrition Status Study (SSGI) survey recorded that 24.5% of babies under five years of age (toddlers) in Banten Province were stunted in 2021. Pandeglang Regency was recorded as the region with the highest prevalence of stunted toddlers in Banten, reaching 37.8% last year. Economic status in the family is essential in supporting children's growth and development. In addition, the nutritional status of toddlers is also very dependent on the parenting of parents or their environment on the quality of food, nutrients and physical health. This study aims to provide an overview of the nutritional status of toddlers from family economic status during the pandemic in Ciladeun village, Lebak-Banten. This research method is descriptive-analytic with a quantitative approach and research design using cross-sectional. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis used the SPSS Statistic version 24 and univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed that the nutritional status of toddlers 2-5 years had a "normal" nutritional status of 73.9%. Family economic status with nutritional status in children under five years old has no significant relationship. The parenting of feeding by mothers with children under five is said to be "appropriate" by 53.6%. The social status of the family that the wife's work status as a housewife was 81.2%. So this study concludes that nutritional status with economic status before and after the pandemic in toddlers there is no significant relationship between income before and after the pandemic with the nutritional status of toddlers in Ciladeun Village, Lebak-Banten.   Kesehatan mencatat 24,5% bayi usia di bawah 5 tahun (Balita) di Provinsi Banten mengalami stunting pada 2021.Kabupaten Pandeglang tercatat sebagai wilayah dengan prevalensi Balita stunting tertinggi di Banten, yakni mencapai 37,8% pada tahun lalu. Status ekonomi pada keluarga sangat penting dalam mendukung tumbuh kembang anak. Selain itu, status gizi balita juga sangat bergantung pada pola asuh orang tua atau lingkungannya terhadap kualitas makanan, zat gizi serta kesehatan fisik.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran status gizi balita dari status ekonomi keluarga selama pandemi di desa Ciladeun Lebak-Banten. Metode penelitian ini adalah analitik deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan desain penelitan menggunakan cross sectional. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan cara wawancara dan kuisioner. Analisis data menggunakan aplikasi SPSS Statistic versi 24 dan menggunakan analisis univariat serta analisis bivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Status gizi pada balita 2-5 tahun memiliki status gizi yang “normal” sebesar 73,9%. Status ekonomi keluarga dengan status gizi  pada anak balita tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan. Pola asuh pemberian makan oleh ibu pada anak balita dikatakan “tepat” sebesar 53,6%. Status sosial keluarga bahwa pekerjaan istri berstatus sebagai ibu rumah tangga sebesar 81.2%. Sehingga penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa status gizi  dengan status ekonomi sebelum dan sesudah pandemi pada balita tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pendapatan sebelum dan sesudah pandemi dengan status gizi balita Di Desa Ciladeun Lebak-Banten.

Abstract

Malnutrisi merupakan kondisi medis yang disebabkan oleh asupan atau pemberian nutrisi yang tidak akurat maupun yang tidak mencukupi. Malnutrisi lebih sering disambungkan dengan asupan nutrisi yang kurang atau sering disebut undernutrition (gizi kurang) yang bisa disebabkan oleh penyerapan yang buruk atau kehilangan nutrisi yang bertambah. Di daerah Banten pada tahun 2020, balita yang mengalami gizi kurang (BB/U) sejumlah 30.078 balita. Pola pengasuhan dan tingkat pendidikan ibu dapat mempengaruhi status gizi anak, karena pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak tidak hanya dari asupan nutrisi akan tetapi kasih sayang, perhatian, kenyamanan dan pola asuh yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan pola asuh pemberian makan dan tingkat pendidikan ibu dengan status gizi balita 2-5 tahun berdasarkan indeks BB/U di Desa Ciladeun Lebak-Banten. Metode penelitian ini adalah analitik deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan desain penelitan menggunakan cross sectional. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan cara wawancara dan kuisioner. Analisis data menggunakan aplikasi SPSS Statistic versi 24 dan menggunakan analisis univariat serta analisis bivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa status gizi pada balita adalah “normal” yaitu sebesar  73,9%, pola asuh pemberian makan oleh  ibu pada anak balita adalah “tepat” yaitu sebesar 53,6%, tingkat pendidikan ibu berada di tingkat “rendah” yaitu sebesar 92,8%. Sehingga menyimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubunganyang signifikan antara pola pemberian makan dengan status gizi dan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pendidikan ibu dengan status gizi di Desa Ciladaeun Lebak-Banten.Malnutrition is a medical condition caused by inaccurate or insufficient intake or administration of nutrients. Malnutrition is often associated with inadequate nutrient intake or undernutrition, which can be caused by poor absorption or increased nutrient loss. In Banten in 2020, 30,078 under-fives were undernourished (BB/U). Parenting patterns and the mother's education level can affect children's nutritional status because children's growth and development are not only from nutritional intake but love, attention, comfort and good parenting. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between feeding parenting patterns and maternal education level with the nutritional status of toddlers 2-5 years based on the BB/U index in Ciladeun Village, Lebak-Banten. This research method is descriptive-analytic with a quantitative approach and research design using cross-sectional. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis using the SPSS Statistic version 24 application and univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed that the nutritional status of toddlers was "normal", which amounted to 73.9%; the parenting pattern of feeding by mothers in children under five was "appropriate", which amounted to 53.6%; the mother's education level was at the "low" level which amounted to 92.8%. It was concluded that there was no significant relationship between feeding patterns and nutritional status and no significant relationship between the mother's education level and nutritional status in Ciladaeun Village, Lebak-Banten.
