Abstract

Legenda adalah cerita prosa rakyat yang dianggap oleh yang mempunyai cerita sebagai sesuatu yang benar-benar terjadi yang mengandung dan mengungkapkan nilai-nilai pragmatis sehingga dijadikan sebagai pedoman dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Untuk dapat memperoleh manfaat dari cerita jenaka tersebut perlu dilakukan analisis terhadap teks-teks cerita legenda tersebut menggunakan teori-teori struktural naratif. Struktur adalah hubungan antara unsur-unsur pembentukan dalam susunan keseluruhan. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam kajian yaitu Struktural Naratif Vladimir Propp dengan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan struktur naratif legenda Tanjung Menangis yang dimulai dari lingkaran pertama yaitu pengenalan, hingga berakhir di rangkaian Keempat kembalinya sang pahlawan. Keempat lingkaran tersebut teridentifikasi dari munculnya 9 fungsi yaitu penipuan (trickery), kejahatan (villainy), fungsi bantuan pertama (first function of the donor), reaksi pahlawan (hero’s reaction), bimbingan (guidence), kepulangan (return), pencarian (pursuit), perubahan penampilan (transfiguration), dan  penghukuman (punishment).Kata kunci: legenda, fungsi, struktur naratif, Vladimir ProppLegend is a people's prose story that is considered by those who have a story as something that actually happened that contains and expresses pragmatic values so that it is used as a guide in social life. To be able to benefit from the humorous stories, it is necessary to analyze the texts of the legendary stories using structural narrative theories. Structure is the relationship between the elements of form in the overall order. The approach used in the study is Vladimir Propp's Structural Narrative with qualitative descriptive research methods. The results of this study illustrate the narrative structure of the Tanjung Menangis legend which starts from the first circle that was introduced, ends in the Fourth circle of return of the hero. Replacing the 9 functions as trickery, crime, donor's first reaction, hero reaction, guidance, return, pursuit, transfiguration, and punishment. Abstract

In this study Serat Hardamudha written by Kyai Secanitis is chosen as the object of the study. It is part of a collection at the Sonobudoyo Museum, Yogyakarta, with No. PB A 244 as its collection number. It contains symbols and signs which attracts the researcher’s attention. Such signs can be interpreted as social, moral, religious, and cultural teachings which are so great that they may be utilized as a learning medium in our lives. The problems in this study are formulated as follows: (1) what is the structure of Serta Hardamudha like; (2) what are its functions for our lives; and (3) what meanings it contains? This study aims at analyzing (1)  the structure of Serat Hardamudha; (2)  its functions for our lives; (3)  its meanings. This study is classified as a qualitative one using qualitative data in the forms of words, sentences or concepts taken from the data sources.  The data were obtained from the primary and secondary sources. The primary data source in this study         is a literary work entitled Serat Hardamudha. The secondary data sources include references related to research. The data were collected using note taking technique completed with data cards and note books. The data were descriptively and interpretatively analyzed using hermeneutic approach. The novelties of the study are that (1) Serat Hardamudha deviated from conventions but contained innovations. From the form point of view, it, especially tembang Dhandhanggula, gatra 3, deviated from conventions. (2) The massage was symbolically and implicitly presented. (3) Serat Hardamudha presented the life of the Javanese people during colonial era. (4) Serat Hardamudha was written to give enlightenment to the community that ma lima should be eliminated.

Abstract

Novel Hati Suhita berisi urusann sosiologi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah pendeskripsikan figur perempuan dalam Novel ”Hati Suhita” karya Khilma Anis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif karena peneliti sebagai alat utama dalam mengngumpulkan data dari novel “ Hati Suhita” karya Khilma Anis, Strategi penelitianyang digunakan adalah kajian feminisme sosial yaitu Alina Suhita sebagai tokoh utama dalam novel ini. Dalam proses penemuan makna  data yang berupa teks dalamNovel ”Hati Suhita” karya Khilma Anis, melalui proses hermeneutika. Hermeneutika adalah proses interpretasi data dalam rangka menemukan makna sebuahdata, yang dimulai dari pemahaman data dari bagian ke keseluruhan dan dari keseluruhan menuju bagi-bagian secara bergantian dan terus menerus untuk menemukan makna data secara mendalam

Abstract

Penelitian ini berisi diskusi tentang cakrawala harapan lima pembaca dari siswa di pondok pesantren Darul Falah V Cukir terhadap novel Api Tauhid karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Novel Api Tauhid adalah novel yang menceritakan sejarah perjuangan ulama besar, yaitu Said Nursi dalam menyebarkan Islam di Turki Ottoman dan juga novel roman yang menceritakan perjuangan cinta Fahmi dalam menjaga hubungannya dengan Nuzula. Fokus penelitian ini adalah harapan para siswa sebagai pembaca dalam periode waktu tertentu pada novel Api Tauhid. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori penerimaan sinkron dan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis analitik dengan beberapa tahapan, yaitu pemilihan data, pengkodean data, interpretasi data dan penarikan kesimpulan.

Abstract

Abstract: Symbolic Violence in Indonesian Novels. The general objective of this research is to find out the mechanism of symbolic violence, upper class habitus, and lower class habitus in the Indonesian novels. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. Data is collected using the documentation method. The results of the study of the mechanism of symbolic violence consisting of euphemisms in the form of compassion, giving, refusal are subtle. The censorship mechanism in the form of positive moral preservation in the form of honor and politeness. Upscale habitus in the form of hopes and lifestyles possessed by social groups above and class habitus under expectations and lifestyles owned by social groups below.

Abstract

The text of Serat Wulang Sunu, is one of Javanese literary works containing moral teachings. By the researchers the work was classified into the moralistic didactic literature. didactic moralistic. In terms of jkarya content is considered quite good, because the teachings contained in it are universal. Therefore he was copied several times. As evidence in the Sanoguan Museum of Yogyakerta there are two manuscripts, in different manuscripts. Also in Pacitan there is also a script titled the same although the content is longer. The contents contained in it, among others: (1) children and grandchildren and their relatives are obliged to devote to both parents, especially mothers. (keeping the relationship between families in Surakarta palace circle is mandatory.) A kinship is like a pucung, and the relationship between lion and forest is mutually guarded, upholding honesty, avoiding disgraceful deeds associated with ma five, and defying the lust In man is dominated by four kings, the queen of Mutmainah, the queen of Supiah, the King of Anger and the King of Aluamah, who portrayed the human desires, the lust not to be eliminated but controlled, Queen Mutmainah was in charge of the kings.
