Abstract

Water hyacinth is a wild aquatic plant that grows quickly. The growth of water hyacinth need to be controled to prevent the flood and not to disturb paddy irrigation channels. Grass carp as herbivorous fish is used as natural predator to reduce the population of water hyacinth. The interaction between water hyacinth and grass carp is modeled using the prey-predator system. In this model there are harvest factors and predation factors using Holling type III. The optimal control problem is applied to minimize the mass of water hyacinth and harvest efforts of water hyacinth and maximize the mass of grass carp. The solution uses the Pontryagin Principle. The result is that the harvesting of water hyacinth and the grass carp can minimize the water hyacinth biomass at the end of time. Eceng gondok merupakan tanaman liar di perairan yang tumbuh dengan cepat. Pertumbuhannya perlu dikendalikan agar tidak menyebabkan banjir dan tidak mengganggu saluran irigasi persawahan. Ikan grass carp sebagai ikan herbivora digunakan sebagai predator alami untuk mengurangi populasi eceng gondok. Hubungan antara eceng gondok dan ikan grass carp dimodelkan dengan menggunakan sistem prey-predator. Pada model ini terdapat faktor pemanenan dan faktor predasi menggunakan Holling tipe III. Masalah kendali optimal diterapkan dengan tujuan untuk meminimumkan massa eceng gondok dan usaha pemanenan eceng gondok serta memaksimumkan massa ikan grass carp. Penyelesaiannya menggunakan Prinsip Pontryagin. Hasilnya dengan adanya usaha pemanenan eceng gondok dan pengadaan ikan grass carp dapat meminimumkan biomassa eceng gondok di waktu akhir.

Abstract

Pada dasawarsa terakhir perkembangan teknologi begitu pesat, salah satunya di bidang smartphone. Teknologi smartphone begitu canggih salah satunya yaitu penggunaan operasi sistem android yang terus berkembang dan terbarukan. Bidang kalkulus adalah cabang ilmu matematika yang mencakup limit, differensial, deret tak terhingga, dan integral. Tujuan dari penulisan ini yaitu menguji efektivitas dari media aplimath berbasis android pada mata kuliah kalkulus I. Aplimath merupakan salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi android. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan desain borg and gall dengan 6 langkah yaitu potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, ujicoba produk. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu rata-rata hasil angket yang diberikan mahasiswa dari berbagai aspek penilaian yaitu sebesar 85%. Sedangkan berdasarkan hasil belajar yaitu terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara nilai uts dengan nilai media yaitu sebesar 13,33 dan dengan menggunakan uji-t didapat thitung 2,588 > ttabel 2,365. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media aplimath berbasis android pada matakulah kalkulus I efektif digunakan sebagai alternatif sumber belajar berbasis teknologi bagi mahasiswa prodi matematika di Universitas Billfath.Kata Kunci: Aplimath, Efektifitas, Kalkulus I

Abstract

Abstract In the development of science and technology in the world of education, students need to be introduced to a variety of varied learning media, one of which is the use of augmented reality-based e-books. The ability to learn analytic geometry requires systematic, logical and critical thinking that can be developed through learning. The purpose of this study is to test the increase in learning motivation using augmented reality based e-book media in analytic geometry course. The method in this study using ADDIE which consists of five stages which include analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The result of the research is that the average result of the questionnaire given by students from various aspects of the assessment is 86 percent. Meanwhile, based on learning outcomes, there is a difference in learning outcomes between midterm exam score and the e-book score, which is 9.18 and based on the results of the analysis using SPSS on the t-test, it is found that tcount is equal to 4.768 more than ttable is equal to 2.015. From these results, it can be concluded that augmented reality-based e-book media in analytic geometry courses can motivate students as a technology based learning medium for students of mathematics study program at Universitas Billfath.Keywords augmented reality, geometry analytic, e-bookAbstrak Dalam perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi di dunia pendidikan, mahasiswa perlu dikenalkan dengan berbagai media pembelajaran yang bervariasi, salah satunya adalah penggunaan e-book berbasis augmented reality. Kemampuan belajar geometri analitik membutuhkan pemikiran yang sistematis, logis dan kritis yang dapat dikembangkan melalui pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji peningkatan motivasi belajar dengan menggunakan media e book berbasis augmented reality pada mata kuliah geometri analitik. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap yang meliputi analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata rata hasil angket yang diberikan mahasiswa dari berbagai aspek penilaian adalah 86 persen. Sedangkan berdasarkan hasil belajar terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara nilai ulangan tengah semester dengan nilai e-book yaitu sebesar 9,18 dan berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan menggunakan SPSS pada uji-t diketahui bahwa thitung sama dengan 4,768 lebih dari ttabel sama dengan 2,015. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media e-book berbasis augmented reality pada mata kuliah geometri analitik dapat memotivasi mahasiswa sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi bagi mahasiswa program studi matematika di Universitas Billfath. Abstract

Production activities are closely related to business actors or economic actors who must apply economic principles. It is from this principle that the optimization problem arises. This problem can be solved in various ways, one of which is linear programming. The transportation method is one of linear programming. This method is used to adjust the distribution from sources that provide the same product to the destination optimally. The method of transportation is an important component in its operations because it greatly affects the costs incurred in product distribution. The transportation method has two stages of completion, the first is determining the initial solution and the second is determining the optimal solution. KSAM is a new method formulated to solve transportation problems. The KSAM (Karagul-Sahin Approximation Method) method that was recently introduced is said to provide fairly good performance compared to other methods. From the transportation problem that is addressed in this article by comparing several methods, it is found that the KSAM method provides the best solution with a fairly large solution deviation. then this method can be used as a reference to get the optimal solution.

Abstract

As an agricultural country, Indonesia relies on the agricultural sector in almost all of its territory, including in Solokuro District, Lamongan Regency, East Java. The agricultural sector is the mainstay sector because this sector plays a role in providing food for the community. The plant that is widely cultivated as well as a staple food in Indonesia is corn. Corn is the second food crop after rice, even in some areas growing corn is more profitable than growing rice. In Solokuro Subdistrict itself corn is a superior crop, to find out the amount of harvest in the future, you can use the trend moment method. The trend moment method is a method used for forecasting or prediction. The data used in this study is corn harvest data in Solokuro District in 2017-2019 to predict maize yields in Solokuro District in 2022.

Abstract

Determining Break Even Point (BEP) in a production is an important thing to do. BEP analysis is used as a basis for profit planning. By knowing the Break Even Point (BEP), management can determine the amount of production or sales that must be made according to the profit target to be achieved. The research method used is literature review (literature study). Data collection techniques using secondary data taken from the Kaggle site. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics with the help of the python program. In certain cases, the production costs or selling cost is not a linear function. So it is necessary to form a mathematical equation through regression. The model is evaluated using MAE, MSE and R2. Determination of BEP is done by forming the equation of production costs and selling costs which are then solved by the Newton Raphson method. The results of this study are the regression method and Newton raphson can be used as an alternative in determining the BEP for cases that are not linear.

Abstract

This paper discusses the fifth coefficient approximation of the inverse strongly convex function. Strongly convex function is a subclass of convex function. Those functions are included as univalent functions. Using corresponding lemmas, we give sharp limits for the fifth coefficient of the inverse strongly convex function. The limit is sharp if the value of the approximation has the same value as the limit. We verify that the limit of the fifth coefficient of the inverse strongly convex function differs from that of the strongly convex function in some interval but still have the same value in a point. Besides, we also explain that the sharp limit of the fifth inverse coefficient is less than or equal to one.
