Abstract

Pluralism denotes an acceptance of plurality in the community. Plurality in terms of diversity means that human from different background live together under no circumstances. There are different reasons why diversity occurs. It may because of the way of thinking and the attitude to an object which is due to different life styles. The plural and multicultural concept in Islamic Education is equivalent to the concept of ‘silaturrahim’, which means a mutual respect and love among the creatures regardless of ethnic and religious background. Islamic Education does not only concern the hereafter, but the worldly life as well through integrated education.

Abstract

The aims of this study are to: (1) describe the implementation of non-formal supervision at state Junior High Schools of Makassar (2) describe teacher performance in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) at state Junior High Schools of Makassar (3) describe the effect of implementing non-formal supervision on teacher performance in Continuous Professional Development. This research is quantitative research with the type of ex-post-facto research. The approach used is a sociological, psychological, and quantitative approach. The population in this study was 40 State Junior High schools (SMPN) in Makassar. The samples in this study were SMPN 29 Makassar that included 15 teachers, and SMPN 8 Makassar, with 15 teachers who had been certified using a multistage random sampling technique to assess performance in CPD and principals to determine the implementation of non-formal supervision. The results obtained in this study indicate that: (1) The results of the descriptive analysis of non-formal supervision at SMPN Makassar are in the Very High category with a frequency of 15 people from 30 samples and or 50%. 2) The results of the descriptive analysis The assessment of teacher performance in Continuous Professional Development is in the Very High category with a frequency of 11 people out of 30 samples or 36.66%. (3) The results of the inferential analysis comparing ttable and tcount, it turns out that tcount = 2.137 > ttable = 2.048, then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted so that it is known that there is a significant effect of non-formal supervision (X) and teacher performance in Continuing Professional Development (Y) at SMPN Makassar. The implications of this research are: (1) the implementation of non-formal supervision at SMPN Makassar, in general, can be applied and maintained. (2) Teacher Performance Assessment in Sustainable Professional Development, in general, can be applied and improved again and can be used as a model for other schools in the application of supervision.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the internship program called PPL implemented by student of Islamic Educational Management Program at UIN Alauddin Makassar, and the relationship between the internship program and the competencies of students involved. This research is classified as field research using quantitative methods. Data were collected using a questionnaire, and analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The product-moment formula is used to test the relationship between the two variables. The results of the data analysis show that the relationship between the intership program and student competency is in a low category, or there is no relationship between the two. Therefore, it was concluded that the field experience program was not relevant to be applied for student of Islamic Educational Management Program who were not in accordance with the competencies of the students.

Abstract

This research aimed to find the implementation and effect of classroom management on learning outcome of students. It is a field research with a quantitative approach, using descriptive quantitative statistic analysis as an analylis data technique. The results of the data found about the significance of classroom management on student learning outcomes at SMK Muhammadiyah Watansoppeng.

Abstract

Abstract: The Effect of Work Discipline on Employee Performance at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at UIN Alauddin Makassar During the Covid-19 Pandemi.The Covid-19 pandemi has changed the work climate which has an impact on employee performance. One of the factors suspected of being the cause is that employee discipline has begun to decrease since the Work From Home (WFH) policy. This study aims to prove the influence of work discipline on employee performance at the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of UIN Alauddin Makassar during the Covid-19 pandemi. This ex post facto type of quantitative research has the subject of this research, namely all employees at the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of UIN Alauddin Makassar totaling 40 people. The data collection technique used a questionnaire whose results were analyzed using simple regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant influence between work discipline on employee performance at the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of UIN Alauddin Makassar during the Covid-19 pandemi. This is based on the results of the calculation of the hypothesis test value of p = 0.00 (p < 0.05) and t = 14.855 > t table = 1.685 so Ha is accepted, which means that work discipline has a significant effect of 85.3% on employee performance at the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of UIN Alauddin Makassar during the Covid-19 pandemi with the regression line equation Y = 7.93 + 0.890X. This means that if work discipline increases by 1 point, the employee's performance will increase by 0.890 points at a constant 7.93. Thus, the better work discipline, the performance of employees at the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of UIN Alauddin Makassar during the Covid-19 pandemi is also getting better. Abstrak: Pengaruh Disiplin Kerja terhadap Kinerja Pegawai pada Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar Selama Pandemi Covid-19Pandemi Covid-19 telah mengubah iklim kerja yang berdampak pada kinerja pegawai. Salah satu factor yang dicurigai sebagai penyebab adalah disiplin pegawai mulai berkurang sejak adanya kebijakan Work From Home (WFH). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan terdapatnya pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar selama pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian kuantitatif jenis ex post facto ini memiliki subjek penelitian ini yakni seluruh pegawai pada Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar berjumlah 40 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang hasilnya dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar selama pandemi Covid-19. Hal ini berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis nilai p= 0.00 (p<0,05) dan thitung=14,855>ttabel=1,685 sehingga Ha diterima, yang berarti disiplin kerja berpengaruh signifikan sebesar 85,3% terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar selama pandemi Covid-19 dengan persamaan garis regresi Y=7,93+0,890X. Artinya jika disiplin kerja meningkat 1 poin, maka kinerja pegawai akan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,890 poin pada konstanta 7,93. Dengan demikian semakin baik disiplin kerja maka kinerja pegawai pada Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar selama pandemi Covid-19 juga semakin baik.

Abstract

The family becomes an institution capable of giving birth to the next generation (offspring) who are intelligent and have good morals (good character) both in the eyes of their own family, especially in the eyes of the surrounding community. However, along with the times, accompanied by the rapid development of science and digitalization technology, the family has now lost responsibility as the first education. This study aims to explore the function of the family in providing education, through the perspective of hadith. This research uses the type of library research, which is a series of activities related to the method of collecting library data by making texts into texts from several literatures. Specifically, this research collects documents from hadith books related to family functions and children's education. The results of this study indicate that the hadiths about family education provide an understanding that basically every child who is born is born in a state of nature, clean and holy from sins. It is just that the environment where he lives and the school environment where he lives makes it easy to give a bad influence if it is not balanced with the education of his family.
