Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan produk berupa buku pedoman praktikum budidaya ulat grayak pada konsep insekta kelas X. Dengan adanya buku panduan ini diharapkan memberikan kemudahan bagi peserta didik dalam memahami materi yang dipelajari demi tercapainya proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model 4D yang terdiri dari tahap Define (pendefinisian), Design (perancangan), Develop (pengembangan) dan Deseminate (penyebarluasan). Adapun hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari segi penilaian ahli media dan ahli materi yakni rata-rata 84,5 sehingga memenuhi kriteria “Baik” dengan demikian produk yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak untuk diuji cobakan dengan melalui proses perbaikan sesuai dengan masukan dan saran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of blended learning-based interactive multimedia on students' scientific literacy skills. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study carried out with a non-equivalent control group design. This research was conducted in one of the high schools in Lombok, Indonesia, involving a control class and an experimental group. Pre-test and post-test were given by researchers to test students' scientific literacy skills in learning chemistry with the subject matter of oxidation-reduction reactions. The validity, reliability, and level of difficulty of the questions were tested using the Rasch Model. The statistical analysis used was the prerequisite test for data analysis and hypothesis testing using the t-test (Independent samples t-test) with the help of SPSS 20 for windows. The results showed that the average N-gain score of the experimental class students' scientific literacy was 78.5 with high criteria, the experimental class N-gain average score was 67.3 with medium criteria. So it can be concluded that the scientific literacy ability of the experimental class is higher than the control class and interactive multimedia based on blended learning affects increasing students' scientific literacy skills.

Abstract

This study aims at producing interactive multimedia that is valid, practical, and effective to improve students' scientific literacy in Chemistry subjects with the subject matter of oxidation-reduction reactions. This research is included in research and development refers to the ADDIE development model, including the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The interactive multimedia testing in learning and scientific literacy tests were conducted on students of Class X MIA MA Nahdlatul Wathan Suela, NTB. The design of this research trial used One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The results showed that the average percentage of the interactive multimedia feasibility from three validators was 83.3%, with very feasible criteria. Scientific literacy instruments also got 82.6%, with very feasible criteria. The use of interactive multimedia in the limited trial got an average score of 80.6% from teachers and students with very practical criteria. Interactive multimedia effectively improves students' scientific literacy, marked by the difference in the average score of students' scientific literacy results from 32.05 to 85.41 with very effective criteria. These results show that the developed interactive multimedia has valid, practical, and effective criteria to improve students' scientific literacy during the covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The mangrove ecosystem is one of the vegetation that has a role as carbon mitigation in coastal areas, especially in port activity areas that can produce large amounts of carbon, such as in Lembar Harbor, Lembar Village, West Lombok Regency. The purpose of this study was to analyze the carbon content in the root and leaf tissue contained in each type of mangrove in the Lembar Harbor Area, Lembar Village, West Lombok Regency. This type of research is descriptive quantitative, with purposive random sampling method, which starts with taking root and leaf samples on each different mangrove species, and testing is carried out based on the Walkley & Black method to obtain tissue carbon content. Based on the results of the study, found 8 (eight) families consisting of 11 species, including: Avicennia lanata, Avicennia marina, Lumnitzera racemosa, Bruguiera gymnorrhiza, Rhizophora stylosa, Ceriops decandra, Scyphiphora hydrophyllaceae, Excoecaria agallocha, Thespesia populnea, Xylocensis, and Ipome pescaprae. The condition of the environmental parameters of the mangrove ecosystem in Lembar Village is still in good condition, in accordance with the quality standards of water health quality, Decree of the State Minister of the Environment Number 51 of 2004 concerning sea water quality standards for biota. The average organic carbon content of root tissue was 43.47 ± 3.10 %C and leaves was 43.87 ± 3.66 %C. The highest organic carbon content in root tissue was found in Xylocarpus moluccensis (47.46 %C), and the lowest was in Ipomea pescaprae (41.49 %C), while the highest organic carbon content in leaf tissue was in Bruguiera gymnorrhiza (50.60 %C), and the lowest was Avicennia lanata (38.99 %C). Based on Tukey's further test that the value of organic content stored in the root and leaf tissue of mangroves was not significantly different (> 0.05) with a statistical test value of 0.76.

Abstract

Mangroves are one of the coastal vegetations that have ecological roles and benefits as disaster mitigation, one of which is the bioaccumulation of lead (Pb) heavy metal contamination. The purpose of this study was to determine the uptake ability of the heavy metal lead (Pb) by mangrove leaf and root tissues, and the potential storage capacity of the heavy metal lead (Pb) in the substrate of the mangrove ecosystem found under stands of each type of mangrove in the Rhizophoraceae family. The research was conducted on the mangrove ecosystem of the Lembar Bay of West Lombok Regency. This research is a quantitative descriptive research using purposive random sampling method, which starts with taking samples of leaves and roots of each different species and taking samples of the substrate found under stands of mangrove species in the Rhizophoraceae family. Sample testing was carried out using the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) method. The results showed that the heavy metal (Pb) content in the root tissue was greater than the test results on the leaf samples, namely the roots of Bruguiera gymnorrhiza of 7.23 ppm, the roots of Rhizophora stylosa of 2.84 ppm, and the roots of Ceriops decandra. of 2.84 ppm, while for Rhizophora stylosa leaves it was 4.23 ppm, for Bruguiera gymnorrhiza leaves it was 2.92 ppm, and for Ceriops decandra leaves it was 2.91 ppm. In addition, the content of heavy metal deposits found under the Bruguiera gymnorrhiza mangrove stands was 19.64 ppm, rhizophora stylosa substrate was 16.94 ppm, and 12.94 ppm ceriops decandra substrate. Meanwhile, based on the phytoremediation ability of mangrove species in the Rhizophoraceae family of the Sheet Bay mangrove ecosystem, it was found that the leaves of the type Rhizophora stylosa (- 1.24), were higher than those of Bruguiera gymnorrhiza (- 0.26), and Ceriops decandra (0.20). Similarly, the ability of root tissue as a phytoremediation agent was found to be greatest in Rhizophora stylosa (- 1.32).

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di Desa Paok Lombok, Kecamatan Suralaga, Kabupaten Lombok timur Nusa Tenggara Barat adapun Lokasinya bertempat di Raudatul Atfal Al- Hidayah melalui penyuluhan kepada Masyarakat tani baik yang tergabung dalam kelompok tani maupun masyarakat tani individu tentang pembuatan pupuk organik cair dengan memanfaatkan limbah-limbah pertanian. Adapun tujuan dari kegitan ini adalah 1) Memberikan pemahaman dan skill bagi masyarakat petani agar bisa membuat pupuk organik cair dari limbah pertanian; 2) Memberikan pemahaman agar petani memaksimalkan menggunakan pupuk organic ketimbang pupuk kimia; 3) Memberikan keterampilan kepada petani untuk memanfaatkan limbah pertanian menjadi pupuk organik yang dimana selama ini kurang dimanfaatkan oleh para petani; serta 4) Membantu meningkatkan pendapatan petani dari sektor pertanian. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode sosialisai, diskusi dan pelatihan cara pembuatan pupuk organik cair. Hasil yang didapatkan dari kegiatan penyuluhan ini diantaranya: para petani yang mengikuti penyuluhan sudah bisa memproduksi pupuk organik cair dari limbah pertanian, para peserta sudah bisa mengemas dengan baik dan bisa mengaplikasikannya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan media pembelajaran IPA berbasis aplikasi android PIPA (Pintar Ipa) menggunakan kondular serta mengetahui tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran IPA pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia kelas VIII SMP.. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model 4D yang terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Develop (Pengembangan) dan Disseminate (Penyebaran). Subjek ujicoba produk penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP NW Suralaga sebanyak 20 peserta didik. Instrument pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, angket, kajian pustaka dan dokumentasi. Tehnik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis kuantitatif. Analisis data kuantitatif dihasilkan dari penyebaran angket kepada para ahli, guru, dan siswa.Tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran diketahui dari hasil validasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Hasil validasi ahli media dan ahli materi didapatkan presentase nilai sebesar 84% dan 82% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Serta dilakukan penilaian respon guru dengan hasil 96% pada kategori sangat layak. Kemudian ujicoba terbatas pada peserta didik dengan presentase nilai rata-rata 85% pada kriteria sangat layak. Hasil yang telah diperoleh tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media berbasis aplikasi android PIPA menggunakan kodular dalam kelayakan sangat baik. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan salah satu media pembelajaran yang efektif dalam proses pembelajaran.
