Abstract

In today's technological era in the development of all areas with extremely rapid technological base. Various inventions and technological developments have made a lot of changes for a wide range of growing order of life in the community. This helps facilitate human progress in completing the work that had been considered difficult and almost impossible to do. One of them is the field control with the discovery of the microcontroller as a tool automatic control. Through this thesis the author will use the microcontroller ATMega32L as one of the few products to control the light output ATMEL home via SMS with the method on / off controller. The author uses the C programming language as programming for microcontroller ATMega32L. Control lights via sms is designed to turn on and turn off the lights with command via SMS. From the test results as a whole it can be concluded that the system can work well, it is seen from the results of testing that includes testing process.

Abstract

KOMURINDO 2013 organized by the Directorate General of Higher Education and the Directorate of Research and Community Services together with National Institute of Aeronautics and Space gives 2 (two) theme of the competition and one of them is the High Rate Data Attitude Monitoring and Surveillance Payload. Payload or Payload Rocket is a compartment sensors telemetry data for monitoring purposes attitude and a camera for monitoring from space are arranged in a cylindrical tube measuring no more than 200mm in height and 100mm in diameter. In this final project will be discussed in accordance with the title of "Decision System Images Using Camera Serial Data on Rocket Payload" for which data will be sent to Ground Station via 433 MHz radio frequency transceiver modem YS1020U. The output of this camera series is data to hexadecimal format and not converted to images. This system can be combined with telemetry and monitoring systems for future rocket payload.

Abstract

The children's Fine Motor Skill Assessment (FMS) at the beginning of school age is essential to get information about children's school readiness. The process of measuring FMS has been carried out by observing children, both directly and from the results of sketches or children's writing. This observation process is very dependent on the observer's perception. This study aims to determine the children's FMS using Javanese script. This research develops a new method for determining children's FMS from the process of writing the Javanese script. The system was recording data directly when the child is writing the Javanese script. Retrieval of data recording from the writing process involved 14 students in 1st grade and 2nd grade from three elementary schools in Jember district. The process of recording data from each student produces a large enough raw data. Therefore, this study uses random forest classification method, because this method can carry out the classification process on large amounts of data by combining several decision trees. Other classification methods, including naïve Bayes and k-NN, were used as a comparison. The experiment results show that the random forest classification method is the bestwith an accuracy of 98.7%.

Abstract

This research focuses on the load and stability of unmanned aerial vehicles that are as light as possible but with optimal stability functions and increasing the capacity of liquid fertilizer lifted by unmanned aerial vehicles. The increase in lift is related to the payload and stability to be carried by the unmanned aerial vehicle. By optimizing the arm using the arm carbon method, so without reducing the strength and function of the drone, the gross weight of the components becomes much lighter, so that the weight can be focused on increasing the capacity of liquid fertilizer. With the increase in liquid fertilizer capacity, of course, the weight also increases, this raises a new problem, which is to make the balance value when the drone take-off has a large magnitude, thus affecting stability which causes the potential to fail to fly, therefore this research was carried out so that the drone has stability. maximum and can minimize the effects of shocks from increasing capacity after using arm-carbon. The measurements taken were the success rate of the system in flying over agricultural land, power testing and current measurements. After testing, it was found that by using a split tank and carbon arm system, current and power tend to be more stable, so that battery life is longer, liquid fertilizer capacity can be increased and the potential for flight failure can be minimized with a split tank system with 90% accuracy, carried out optimizing weight with carbon arms and increasing the capacity of liquid fertilizer by 30%, using a split tank system increases the stability of the drone at take-off by up to 80%.
