Abstract

Permasalahan pengembangan sekolah, pengembangan dan pembinaan guru perlu diselesaikan untuk menghasilkan sekolah yang bermutu. Kecamatan IV Jurai perlu memperhatikan pengembangan sekolah karena Kecamatan IV Jurai merupakan pusat wilayah dari Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan yang perlu menjadi daerah percontohan bagi daerah lainnya. Kegiatan ini akan dilaksanakan tiga tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Bentuk kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui workshop dan bimtek. Workshop dilakukan untuk menstransfer ilmu, yaitu pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang supervisi dan manajemen sekolah. Untuk kemudian bimtek dilaksanakan untuk membimbing kepala sekolah untuk membuat program supervisi dan pedoman supervisi.

Abstract

This article discusses the difficulties of the principal in managing the 2013 curriculum in elementary schools in Koto Tangah sub-district, Padang City in terms of: 1) curriculum planning, 2) curriculum implementation, 3) curriculum evaluation. The type of this research is descriptive research. The population of this study is the principal who is in Koto Tangah District Elementary School, Padang City, as many as 66 people. The number of samples is 25 people taken from the population using the Simple Random Sampling technique. Data collection tool is a questionnaire with a Likert Scale model that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data processing is done using the average formula (Mean). The results showed that the Principal Difficulties in the 2013 Curriculum Management at Elementary Schools in Koto Tangah Sub-District, Padang City on indicators: 1) 2013 curriculum planning gained an average score of 2.2 in the category of experiencing less difficulties, 2) the implementation of the 2013 curriculum gained scores 2.4 on average were in the category of having less difficulty, 3) the 2013 curriculum evaluation gained an average score of 2.7 in the category of having enough difficulties.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the observation that there are still employees who have low work commitments at the Regional Civil Service Agency of West Sumatra Province. The formulation of the problem in this study is how high the work commitment of the Regional Personnel Agency of West Sumatra Province in carrying out its duties. This study aims to obtain information about the work commitment of employees of the Regional Civil Service Agency of West Sumatra Province which are seen from aspects of loyalty, involvement, discipline, and attachment. This type of research is descriptive with a population of employees at the Regional Civil Service Agency of West Sumatra Province, amounting to 80 people. This research is a sample research. The sampling technique itself uses the Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique so that the respondents were 49 people. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a Likert scale model with five alternative answers, namely (SL), (SR), (KD), (JR), and (TP), which had been tested for validity and reliability through trials on 10 respondents in the population but outside of the sample set. This questionnaire is declared valid with rho rhocount> from rhotablewhich is 0,976>0.648 with a confidence level of 95% and reliability is stated reliably with rhocount> from rhotable which is 0,976> 0,648. For research data, it is processed using the mean formula. Based on the results of the study showed that the work commitment of employees of the Regional Personnel Agency of West Sumatra Province in carrying out tasks seen from the aspect of loyalty was in the high category with an average score of 3.70. For aspects of involvement are in the high category with an average score of 3.61. For disciplinary aspects are in the high category with an average score of 3.61. Furthermore, the attachment aspect is in the high category with an average score of 3,71. Overall, the work commitment of employees of the Regional Civil Service Agency of West Sumatra Province in carrying out tasks is in the high category with an average score of 3,66. Based on these results the authors suggest that employee work commitments be maintained and improved again so that they can improve the effectiveness of the work of employees at work.The Key word: Employee work commitment

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems in the pedagogical competencies of teachers in SMK Negeri Kabupaten Tanah Datar. This study aims to explore information about teachers pedagogic competencies in SMK Negeri Kabupaten Tanah Datar based on student perceptions in aspect 1) understanding students, 2) implementing learning that is educational and dialogic, 3) utilizing learning technology, 4) implementing learning evaluation, and 5) developing students to actualize various potentials they have. This type of research is descriptive research, with the aim of expressing a situation as it is. The study population was students in SMK Negeri Kabupaten Tanah Datar of flat land totaling 3.436 students.  A sample of 99 students was taken using a simple random sampling technique. Data collection instrument is a likert scale model questionnaire with five answer choices. The result showed that the teachers pedagogical competence was basedon the perceptions of the students in 1) understanding the student with an average score of 4,04 in the high category, 2) the implementation of education and dialogical learning with an average score of 3,98 in the high category, 3) utilizing learning technology with an average score of 3,86 in the high category, 4) carrying out evaluation of learning outcomes with an average score of 4,15 in the high category, and 5) developing students to actualize the various potentials they have with the average score of 4,14 is in the high category. Overall, the average score is 4,04 in the high category. The Key word: Perceptions, Pedagogic competence, teacher

Abstract

The purpose of this research was look information on  the teacher perception about controlling of the headmaster on vocation senior high school. This is a descriptive research. The population is 201 teacher and research sample is 72 teachers who taken by simple random sampling. The instrument of this research was a questionnaire with Likert scale models that had tested for validity and reliability. Data analyzed using the average (mean) formula. The results of this research show teacher perception about controlling of headmaster on vocation senior high school (SMKN) in Solok city  stay in  good category with an average score 3,61 become 72,21 percent.
