Abstract

Pembangkit tenaga listrik menghasilkan sumber energi listrik yang akan disalurkan ke jalur sistem distribusi. Sistem distribusi ini belum sepenuhnya maksimal dalam proses penyaluran energi listrik karena sistem monitoringnya belum maksimal. Hal ini akan berakibat pada kegagalan sistem dalam distribusi listrik. Pada penelitian ini, akan dilakukan sistem monitoring distribusi listrik 2x3 MW di Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mesin Gas (PLTMG) Kijang. Sistem monitoring meliputi listrik yang disalurkan dan listrik yang dimanfaatkan untuk pengoperasian peralatan dan komponen pendukung pada sistem pembangkit tenaga listrik. Sistem distribusi listrik di PLTMG Kijang disalurkan melalui jaringan 20 KV. Hasil monitoring yang didapatkan bahwa daya rerata untuk penggunaan pembangkit ketika tidak beroperasi berkisar 1655.894 Watt per bulan. Sistem distribusi listrik ke express feeder pada daya 3 MW menghasilkan rerata cos phi 0.99, frekuensi 50.1 Hz, tegangan 20.1 KV, dan arus 86.14 A. Sistem distribusi listrik pada daya 6 MW menghasilkan rerata cos phi 0.99, frekuensi 50.1 Hz, tegangan 20.1 KV, dan arus 172.3 A.

Abstract

Kecelakaan kerja merupakan hal yang harus dan wajib untuk dihindari. Salah satu aspek utama terjadinya kecelakaan kerja yaitu mengantuk. Denyut nadi memiliki korelasi dengan keadaan tubuh manusia, khususnya ketika mengantuk dapat menyebabkan nilai Beats per Minutes (BPM) berada dibawah nilai rata-rata kondisi manusia normal pada umumnya. Pada pengujian ini dilakukan perancangan suatu prototipe alat yang dapat melakukan monitoring kondisi denyut nadi yang diaplikasikan pada operator PT. Pepperl+Fuchs Bintan. Perangkat ini bekerja menggunakan Pulse Sensor sebagai perangkat yang dapat membaca denyut nadi pengguna dan dikombinasikan dengan sistem nirkabel dengan media gelombang radio 433 MHz. Prototipe melakukan monitoring dengan rentang sampling per 15 detik yang dapat diamati secara langsung oleh pengamat untuk mengentahui kondisi denyut nadi pengguna tanpa harus menganggu kinerja operator selama bekerja.

Abstract

Demand for traditional ship in Indonesia is very high, because the ship is used of fishermen for catching fish as a livelihood. Shipbuilders as manufactures play an important element in building safety and good traditional wooden ships. In the production process, the shipbuilders must be has proper quality control system, in order to match with the owner specification, regulation, and statutory. Therefore, this article discusses about quality control system in traditional ship production process. The research were conducted by direct survey to traditional shipbuilders in Bintan Island-Indonesia by inspect some ships by visual eyes only. From the survey, it was found many discrepancies occur, such as the use of wood has many defects, knur, knot and cracks. In addition, the wood concatenation process is not perfect, which can cause leakage. From the study, the shipbuilders should conduct quality control using other tools instead of visual technique only.

Abstract

Navigasi udara merupakan kegiatan untuk mengarahkan transportasi udara dari satu tempat ke tempat yang lain agar tidak keluar dari jalurnya. Sistem transmisi sinyal pada Doppler VHF Omnidirectional Range (DVOR) belum sepenuhnya optimal karena persentase sinyal modulasinya sering mengalami peningkatan yang berakibat pada munculnya kondisi sinyal over-modulated. Deteksi sinyal interogasi maupun sinyal balasan pada Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) mengalami hambatan disebabkan oleh waktu tunda dan jarak pulsa yang tidak sesuai. Pada penelitian ini, akan dilakukan analisis kinerja sistem DVOR-DME dengan membandingkan nilai parameter dan nilai kondisi normal. Berdasarkan analisis kinerja sistem, didapatkan bahwa sistem DVOR-DME AirNav Indonesia Distrik Tanjungpinang beroperasi dengan normal. Nilai optimal 30Hz MOD dan 9960Hz MOD pada DVOR berada pada rentang nilai normal yaitu sebesar 30%. Nilai optimal delay dan spacing pada DME berada pada rentang nilai delay normal dan nilai spacing normal yaitu sebesar 50,01 μs dan 12,02 μs.

Abstract

Interface information still use the bulletin board to manual. Information should be printed in advance and attached to the bulletin board to be informed. This resulted in a the delay in the delivery of information because it is manual. In this study, will be designed based automated electronic information system Raspberry Pi. Information will be sent using the telecommunications network are displayed alternately in the form of a slideshow. The results show that the system created the device can display information using the Raspberry Pi. The information is displayed in the form of pictures and a slideshow format on the monitor remotely.

Abstract

Planning the path is one of the most important things in the world of robotics, especially autonomous robots, to be able to move the autonomous robot requires a path that will guide the movement, or steps to be taken next, can also be spelled out as the determination of the point of coordinates to be addressed so that the robot can move to destination by taking the nearest lane and guiding the robot not to take unnecessary steps. This research uses adaptive A-star algorithm as the shortest path finding algorithm, the algorithm used is the development of A-star algorithm so that it can perform path search gradually and done repeatedly to determine every step that must be taken robot in the future and this algorithm belongs to a simple algorithm in a family heuristic algorithm. The test environment is built using Netlogo 5.3.1 Application, an agent-based application developed by Uri Wilensky at the center for Connected Learning and Compute-based Modeling at Northwestern University. The results of the tests have shown that the adaptive A-star algorithm can perform the optimal shortest path search and not trapped in the optimal local conditions with a standard deviation of 0.422%.

Abstract

The live fish storege currently is not able to control the pH parameters of the water according to the fishs living environment. pH needs to be considered so that fish can survive. The purpose of this research is to design a system that can control the pH of water in fish hatch using a microcontroller and LabVIEW. The test is carried out on the hatch with dimensions of 90 cm x 65 cm x 50 cm. Monitoring changes in pH values in real time is done through LCD and LabVIEW. This device is equipped with an LED indicator that can indicate the condition of the relay outside of the LaBVIEW software. The difference in sensor readings designed with a standard measuring instrument is only around 0.05. The appearance process of the sensor reading value on the LCD and LabVIEW runs well with a response time reading of about 0.5 seconds and with a response time in controlling the relay about 0.3 seconds. Fish can survive using a control system designed during the testing process within 2x24 hours. The reading value from the sensor will be stored in real time as long as the LabVIEW software runs.

Abstract

Boat is a type of traditional public transportation of the Indonesian people, especially the people in Penyengat Island, Riau Islands Province. Communities on Penyengat Island have many traditional boats that do not have a Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) for shipping standards. Shipping standards are needed so that the safety factor in sailing is more awake. Sailing safety factors are needed in getting help if an accident on a fishing boat occurs. Delay in help due to ignorance of the information about the accident and the position of the ship that is difficult to detect. Based on the description, it will be appointed a performance study on the design of a hybrid information display system on fishing boats to determine the location of the accident that will be displayed in the form of Google Maps. Google Maps is a digital map service application developed by Google. The combination of Google Maps and the Global Positioning System (GPS) receiving device is a very useful combination. In addition, the hybrid system used is a combination of manual systems in the form of buttons and automatic systems in the form of tilt sensors on the boat. Research results obtained that users can find out the position of objects based on latitude and longitude coordinates displayed using Google Maps.

Abstract

The camera is a popular device and easy to find in every human activities nowadays. The camera is not only known in the world of photography to capture images and video, but more than that. The camera has been used monitoring device that helps human works easier, more effective and more efficient. The camera has been used for security, to monitoring a place, traffic monitoring and other similar function in various sectors of human activity. Even now, the camera has been integrated with computer system and other systems to create a sophisticated automation control and monitoring technology. The purpose of this research is to design an underwater monitoring camera system that can display good quality video of underwater objek which can be displayed and accessed via internet using Youtube application. The main component of this design consists high resolution waterproof camera, microtic device, and computer. The communiction media used to access the internet network of this device uses 3G/LTE cellular signal. This devise produces good quality underwater video. The farther the camera is placed in the sea, the less the lighting and it results blurred image and limited range of vision.

Abstract

AbstrakPembelajaran terbaik terjadi ketika anak-anak secara aktif terlibat dalam suatu proyek. Pembelajaran kolaboratif merupakan pendekatan yang mendorong siswa untuk membuat kelompok dan bekerja sama untuk memecahkan suatu masalah yang diberikan. Sebagian besar dari pengajar percaya pada kekuatan kolaborasi dan sering melibatkan siswa dalam aktivitas kolaboratif.. Dengan latar tersebut di lakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan memberikan pelatihan keterampilan STEM untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan kolaborasi siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Raudhatul Qur’an Tanjungpinang dalam mempersiapkan diri menghadapi era revolusi industri 4.0. Pelatihan ini dikenal juga dengan Tech for Kids. Kegiatan Tech for Kids di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta (MIS) Raudhatul Qur'an Kids dilaksanakan secara regular mingguan. siswa diberikan pemahaman mengenai permasalahan-permasalahan yang ditemukan di sekitar sekolah melalui metode etnografi. Pra-pengujian sangat membantu untuk mengukur pengetahuan siswa, atau pembelajaran kognitif, dan keterampilan. Dengan melakukan penilaian ini sebelum pelatihan akan membentuk fondasi untuk rencana pelatihan  dan memastikan bahwa pelatihan yang sesuai dan relevan diberikan sehingga meningkatkan efektivitas latihan secara keseluruhan  AbstractThe best learning occurs when children are actively involved in a project. Collaborative learning is an approach that encourages students to create groups and work together to solve a given problem. Most of the teachers believe in the power of collaboration and often involve students in collaborative activities. With this background, community service activities are carried out by providing STEM skills training to foster collaboration skills of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Raudhatul Qur'an Tanjungpinang in preparing for the era of industrial revolution 4.0 . This training is also known as Tech for Kids. Tech for Kids activities at Raudhatul Qur'an Kids Private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MIS) are held regularly weekly. students are given an understanding of the problems found around the school through the ethnographic method. Pre-testing is helpful for measuring student knowledge, or cognitive learning, and skills. Carrying out this assessment before training will form the foundation for the training plan and ensure that appropriate and relevant training is provided thereby increasing the overall effectiveness of the exercise.
