Abstract

Latar Belakang : Self-Directed Learning merupakan kemampuan melakukan kontrol terhadap seluruh aspek pembelajaran dari seseorang, dimulai pada perencanaan yang matang sampai dengan cara seseorang melakukan evaluasi terhadap performa yang telah dilakukannya. Penerapan metode PBL menuntut mahasiswa lebih banyak belajar mandiri, mengidentifikasi tujuan dan kebutuhan mereka, merencanakan strategi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut, dan mengevaluasi kemajuan mereka. Tujuan Penelitian : Mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan SDL pada mahasiswa Keperawatan tahun pertama, kedua, ketiga, dan keempat. Metode Penelitian : Penelitian mixed method dengan strategi eksplanatoris sekuensial. Metode kuantitatif menggunakan komparatif kategorik, dan kualitatif menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil Penelitian : Hasil uji Krusskal Wallis menunjukkan nilai sig. 0,00 < 0,05 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada tingkat SDL mahasiswa tahun pertama, kedua, ketiga, dan keempat di PSIK FKIK UMY. Hasil indepth interview ditemukan tema yang meliputi learning preparation dan faktor yang mempengaruhi SDL. Kesimpulan : Terdapat perbedaan tingkat SDL mahasiswa tahun pertama, kedua, ketiga, dan keempat. Terdapat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi SDL, meliputi: faktor penghambat: mood dan motivasi, fasilitas kampus, kebosanan, interpersonal skill, adaptasi, dan manajemen waktu; faktor penghambat : dukungan orang tua.

Abstract

ABSTRACTBackground: The PBL method requires students to emphasize more independent learning in  order to identify goals and plan strategies to meet their needs. There are many factors that can  affect the ability of SDL students, so assistance from educators is needed and literature support to support the SDL process is better. Objective: To fi nd out the factors that infl uence SDL’s ability in fi rst, second, third, and fourth year nursing students.Methods : The study used descriptive qualitative methods by conducting FGDs and in-depth interviews. Results : The indepth interview results found a theme that included learning preparation and factors that infl uenced SDL.Conclusion: There are factors that infl uence SDL, including: inhibiting factors: mood and motivation, campus facilities, boredom, interpersonal skills, adaptation, and time management; inhibiting factor: parental support.

Abstract

Background: Health is a prosperous state physically, mentally and socially, not simply does not  have a disease. It is important for the society to always stay healthy. One of several ways to stay healthy is by doing exercises regularly. Some of the society does not realize the importance of physical exercises for their bodies. Therefore, the society interest needs to be improved in order to stay healthy.Objective: To find out the relationship between society knowledge level and society interest in joining physical exercises in Senden 2 Selomartani Kalasan Yogyakarta.Method: This is a quantitative research. The method used in this study is analytical descriptive and uses cross sectional approach. The population of the research is adult to elderly people who live in Senden 2 Selomartani Kalasan Yogyakarta. The data collection technique used is purposive sampling, with total 84 people. The data collection instrument is questioners and to analyze the data uses Kendall’s tau. Results: The result of this study shows that the analysis bivariate value using kendall’s tau formulation shows that the knowledge level is fairly related to society interest in joining physical exercises r=0,412 with significance of 0,000 (p<0,05).Conclusion: There is a relationship between society knowledge level and society interest in joining physical exercises in Senden 2 Selomartani Kalasan Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Introduction: Anemia is a public health problem associated with an increased of morbidity and mortality. Poor eating habits during pregnancy will cause the body's need for nutrients both micro and macro is not met, so will result in malnutrition and anemia. Methods: It was observational study using a cross sectional design. Sampling was done by purposive sampling methods. This dietary data accumulation was done by using Food Frequency Questionnaire. In-depth interviews was used to explore positive eating habit in pregnant women that are not anemic. Hemoglobin was detected by using HemoCue analyzer. Statistical analysis of data was used the Chi Square test. Results: The results show that 88.2% of the pregnant women are not anemic, 64.5% of pregnant women often consume enhancers, and 57.9% of pregnant women rarely consume inhibitors. There was no correlation between consumption of enhancer with anemia (p = 0.478). There was no correlation between consumption of inhibitors with anemia (p = 1,000). Positive eating habits of pregnant women who are not anemic is often consume foods high in vitamin C and animal protein. Conclusion: There was no correlation between consumption of enhancher and inhibitor with anemia incidence among pregnant women Recomendation: Improved health promotion of positive eating habit to prevent anemia in pregnant women
