Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis; (1) pengaruh persepsi tentang kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap, (2) pengaruh persepsi budaya kerja terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap, (3) pengaruh citra diri terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap, dan(4) pengaruh persepsi tentang kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, budaya kerja, dan citra diri terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap SMK Negeri se Kabupaten Cilacap. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional untuk melihat pengaruh tiga variabel bebas berupa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah (X1), budaya kerja (X2), dan citra diri (X3) terhadap satu variabel terikat kinerja guru tidak tetap (Y). Sampel ditentukan dengan teknik simple stratified random sampling sejumlah 77 responden dari 255 anggota populasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji asumsi klasik berupa uji normalitas, uji multikolinieritas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji autokorelasi dan menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan; (1) tidak ada pengaruh signifikan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap, (2) ada pengaruh signifikan budaya kerja terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap, (3) ada pengaruh signifikan citra diri terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap, dan (4) ada pengaruh signifikan secara simultan, kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, budaya kerja, dan citra diri terhadap kinerja guru tidak tetap. Harga koefisien determinasi penelitian sebesar 0,653 yang artinya variabel persepsi tentang kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, persepsi budaya kerja, dan citra diri secara simultan mempengaruhi 65,3% kinerja guru tidak tetap dan sisanya 34,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. variabel di luar penelitian ini.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of industrial classes in SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Ajibarang. This research uses a qualitative type with a case study approach. Research subjects were the deputy head of public relations, the deputy head of the curriculum, the head of the engineering engineering program, the head of the light vehicle engineering program and the head of the motorcycle engineering expertise program. Place of research at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Ajibarang. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed with the model of Miles, Hubermen, and Saldana. Research data 1) Industrial class planning includes aspects of students carried out by industry and schools as the organizer. The human resource aspect is carried out by means of instructor training organized by industry to increase knowledge about the industry. The curriculum aspect is carried out by synchronizing the school curriculum with the industrial curriculum, then the aspect of infrastructure facilities is carried out by industry and schools with industrial involvement in the form of setting industry class standards and procuring infrastructure and forms of school involvement in the form of procurement. 2) The implementation of industrial classes includes learning that is adjusted to the established curriculum and the internship carried out in the industry. 3) evaluation which includes evaluating student learning outcomes, in the form of students getting certificates from the industry and evaluating the implementation of industrial classes in the form of internal meetings and visits made by schools to industry and industry to schools

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the educational background, the suitability of teacher competence or linearity, and map the professional competence of productive teachers in the vocational school of arts and culture. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The research stages are; collecting information related to teacher educational background, education and training data, and interviews. The research subjects were school principals, administrative heads, and teachers. The evaluation uses the discrepancy model. The research population is principals and productive teachers of the vocational schools of arts and culture. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validation uses source triangulation and collection. Data analysis used descriptive techniques and simple mathematical analysis. The results showed that: (1) The educational background of productive teachers; dance, musical arts, theater arts, and puppetry arts 96,67% in accordance with the legal basis set by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia; (2) The suitability of the competence or linearity of productive teachers according to learning materials in vocational high school; and (3) A map of professional competence for productive teachers; dance, musical arts, theater arts, and puppetry are 30% of teachers in the mastering category and 70% in the very mastered category. Based on passport skills, it is recommended that 8 (26,67%) teachers attend secondary level training, 9 (30%) teachers attend advanced training, and 13 (43,33%) teachers attend advanced level training. The results of the study are recommended for consideration by the relevant agencies in making policies, recruiting, improving the quality of teachers, determining teaching tasks, teaching burdens, and developing teacher coaching models.

Abstract

The research aims to evaluate the character education strengthening program (CESP) implementation in vocational high schools (VHS) throughout Yogyakarta City. The evaluation is done in the functions of (1) planning, (2) implementation, and (3) evaluation. In this descriptive qualitative research, the researchers collected information related to the implementation of CESP. The subjects are school principals, vice principals, and teachers determined using the snowball sampling technique in four vocational high schools in Yogyakarta City. The evaluation uses the discrepancy model, which looks for the gap between planning and implementation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, validated using the source and collection triangulation, and analyzed using a descriptive technique carried out during and after completing data collection within a certain period. The findings show that: (1) the CESP planning consists of elements of initial assessment, CESP socialization, vision and mission, policy design, and CESP design, with an average score of 2.74, meaning that it is good; (2) the CESP implementation consists of the elements including CESP development in learning, school culture development, community participation, and implementation of the CESP main values, with an average score of 2.98, meaning that it is in a good category; and (3) the CESP evaluation has an average score of 2.50, meaning that it is in a good category. The results of this study are recommended as consideration for mapping the CESP implementation, determining education policies related to character education, developing CESP models, reference for character research, and as materials for discussions regarding character education.

Abstract

Character education is the main pillar in creating a person’s character through education, both formal and informal education. This study aims to find out the habituation and the usual activities conducted by homeroom teachers for character development of students with special needs in Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Pembina Yogyakarta. The results showed many activities taken by the guardians at the school in the developing character of students. Some of the activities were flag ceremonies, cooperation, activities that instill values of integrity, as well as nationalist and religious activities. Also, there are habituation activities conducted by the homeroom teacher in developing the character of students with special needs. Among others are independencies, lining up before entering the classroom, knocking on the door, and greeting before entering the room, tidying up the equipment after use, immediately apologizing if making a mistake, and respecting religious differences. The implication in the character formation and development of students with special needs that the habituation should be done continuously to facilitate the implementation in the society.

Abstract

The research objective was to analyze the educational background of Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) teachers at SMK Negeri Cilacap Regency, describe what elements or insights are contained in TKJ teacher competency standards (SKG), and map the professional competence of TKJ teachers based on teacher competency standards at State Vocational High Schools. Cilacap Regency. The research method is quantitative research with a descriptive research design. The place of research is SMK Negeri in Cilacap Regency with the subject of research is the teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Cilacap and SMK Negeri 1 Binangun, the data collection technique uses questionnaires and the data analysis technique uses descriptive quantitative statistics. The results showed that; (1) the educational background of TKJ teachers at SMK Negeri Cilacap Regency is in accordance with government regulations regarding the number of teachers and the number of study groups and according to the field of expertise of educator certificates, (2) the elements contained in the SKG are planning, assembling and installing computers, building a digital information network, and building a data network system and (3) a map of the professional competency of TKJ teachers, the average teacher mastery of professional competence is 76% in the very good category, there are some teachers in the master category in the percentage range of 55% to 71%..

Abstract

This study aims to map the acquisition of teachers’ pedagogical competence at private vocational high schools Wanareja, Cilacap, Central Java. This research used quantitative method. We involved 60 teachers from four private vocational schools as the research subject. We delivered a Likert-scale questionnaire to assess the pedagogical competence. Then, we analyzed the data using non-parametric inferential statistics. The results showed that the pedagogical competence of private vocational school teachers in Wanareja on ten aspects of pedagogical competence had different categories in each aspect. The aspect of mastering the students’ characteristics was very sufficient (55%). The aspect of mastering the learning theory was good (44%) and very sufficient (40%). The aspect of developing a curriculum was good (48%). The aspect of organizing learning was good (63%). The aspect of using ICT in learning was very sufficient (51%). The aspect of developing the students’ potential was good (44%). The aspect of effective communication and politeness was good (63%). The aspect of conducting an assessment was sufficient (53%). The aspect of utilizing the results of the assessment for the benefit of learning was very sufficient (53%). And finally, the aspect of doing reflective action was sufficient (68%). The implementation of the pedagogical competence of private vocational school teachers in Wanareja has not been evenly distributed in all aspects of competencies and efforts to improve teacher pedagogical competence has not been maximized.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1) to analyze the contribution of SMK Negeri 1 Kalibawang in efforts to empower the village community of Kalibawang District through the implementation of the 'SMK Membangun Desa' program; (2) analyze the factors supporting the contribution of SMK in efforts to empower the village community of Kalibawang District in the implementation of the 'SMK Membangun Desa' program; (3) analyze the inhibiting factorsfor smk's contribution in efforts to empower the village community of Kalibawang District in the implementation of the 'SMK Membangun Desa' program. The research uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological strategies in the implementation of the 'SMK Membangun Desa' program. The research was carried out at SMK Negeri 1 Kalibawang and the Kalibawang District Government. Data collection is carried out by interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Data analysis and validation using source triangulation techniques. The results showed that (1) the implementation of the 'SMK Membangun Desa' program is able to contribute to the improvement of human resources (HR) of the community and the economy of the Kalibawang community through community empowerment strategy-based activities that are integrated with the needs in the village and become one of the solutions to improve the competence of students in the industrial world and theproductivity of students, including: career center on each competency of expertise (Motorcycle Engineering and Business, Accounting and Financial Institutions, Computer and Network Engineering), banana cultivation on SMK land, entrepreneur e-workshop training, marketing of home industry products, promotion of tourist village destinations, community service, sharing public health, and launching program 'SMK Building Villages towards superior smk based on empowerment. (2) supporting factors in the implementation of the 'SMK Membangun Desa' program are the support of the village government, the ability of competent vocational schools, adequate infrastructure and facilities, and the commitment of all SMK residents. (3) inhibiting factors in the implementation of the 'SMK Membangun Desa' program regarding time constraints that arethe same as the Coronavirus Disease 2019 pandemic, and program fundingcan be andmanaged independently because it is not a program assistance from the government.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pemasaran pada produk Mulyojaten yang sudah dilakukan di SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Metro. Setelah menganalisis kemudian mengembangkan model pemasaran berbasis pelanggan menjadi lebih baik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan R&D (research and development). Tahapan penelitian ini menggunakan desain ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Metro Subyek penelitiannya adalah guru pengelola TeFa (Teaching Factory), alumni SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Metro dan mitra pelanggan. Obyek dari penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan pemasaran berbasis pelanggan pada produk Mulyojaten. Penelitian dan pengembangan menghasilkan produk MFS (Mulyojaten Farma Shop), yaitu model pemasaran produk TeFa Mulyojaten secara online efektif memberikan kemudahan pelayanan dan menjalin hubungan silaturahmi kepada pelanggan. Hasil perhitungan Mann Whitney menunjukkan bahwa model pemasaran online efektif digunakan sebagai model pemasaran produk TeFa untuk pelanggan di SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Metro.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis; (1) pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap kualitas pembelajaran, (2) pengaruh budaya kerja terhadap kualitas pembelajaran, (3) pengaruh motivasi guru terhadap kualitas pembelajaran, (4) pengaruh kompetensi guru, budaya kerja, dan motivasi guru secara simultan terhadap kualitas pembelajaran, (5) pengaruh kualitas pembelajaran terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa SMK, (6) pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa SMK dengan kualitas pembelajaran sebagai variabel intervening, (7) pengaruh budaya kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa SMK dengan kualitas pembelajaran sebagai variabel intervening, (8) pengaruh motivasi guru terhadap kesiapan kerja sisa SMK dengan kualitas pembelajaran sebagai variabel intervening. Kelima variabel penelitian diukur berdasarkan  persepsi siswa. Sampel ditentukan dengan teknik proportional random sampling sejumlah 201 responden dari 324 anggota populasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji prasyarat analisis berupa uji normalitas, uji multikolinieritas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji autokorelasi dilanjutkan dengan uji regresi linier berganda serta analisis jalur (path analysis) untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan; (1) kompetensi guru berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pembelajaran, (2) budaya kerja berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pembelajaran, (3) motivasi guru berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pembelajaran, (4) kompetensi guru, budaya kerja, dan motivasi guru secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pembelajaran, (5) kualitas pembelajaran berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa SMK, (6) kompetensi guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa SMK dengan kualitas pembelajaran sebagai variabel intervening, (7) budaya kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa SMK dengan kualitas pembelajaran sebagai variabel intervening, (8) motivasi guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa SMK dengan kualitas pembelajaran sebagai variabel intervening.
