Abstract

The spatial pattern of Semarang illustrate how the pattern that separates the production zone  with consumption zone. Consumption zone is where we live, while the production zone is where we work, shop, school prayer, and recreation. The condition causes the townspeople have to commute (nglajo) every day from the residence to the production zone. Patterns of community life of the city brought in a mechanical rhythm of having to use a motor vehicle. Be they as a community-based automobile (Hadi, 2001: 100-101). The existence of these problems lead to the birth of the Self-reliant  New Town BSB Semarang. Bukit Semarang Baru (BSB) as an Self-reliant  New Town is an integrated spatial planning, where the provision of shelter is equipped with facilities meeting the needs which are within the scope of one area or also called mixed use zoning. To examine changes in activity and mobility of people in urban space integrated pattern which in this case is the Self-reliant New Town BSB then used a socio-ecological systems approach. Socio-ecological systems see the extent of the interaction between different systems. The link between humans and the environment is realized through a variety of physiological processes, psychological and cultural (Lawrence, 2003). The method used in this study is a mix methods with quantitative and qualitative approaches. A quantitative approach is used to analyze the activity and mobility patterns, and a qualitative approach to explain the socio-ecological system of the community. Results from this study that of the five regular activity performed, shopping activities and religious activities have high interaction, because most people have been doing the activity in the region, while for other activities such as the activity of work, school and activity in leisure time is still done in BSB outside the region. The use of public transport modes BSB still choose a long private vehicle.

Abstract

Performance is the result of function that has a strong connection with the strategic objectives of the organization, customer satisfaction and economic contribution. In implementation, there are often obstacles that reduce consumer satisfaction and increase complaints. In the production department of PT. MMC Metal Fabrication, there are several constraints in employee’s performance, including high number of late employee, low employee’s attendance, and not achieving the target quality of goods produced. This study aims to determine the influence of motivation and compensation on the employees’s performance at PT. MMC Metal Fabrication. The type of research use explanatory research. The sample use 85 respondents in the production department 1 PT. MMC Metal Fabrication. The sampling technique use probability sampling. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, observations, and literature studies. Data analysis techniques use validity test, reliability test, correlation test, simple regression test, multiple linear regression test, t test, and f test with the help of IBM SPSS program (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) version 21.0. Based on the results of the analysis, the conclusion is the influence of motivation and compensation on employee’s performance at PT. MMC Metal Fabrication through simple regression testing produces regression values of 0.588 and 0.466. The advice to the company is to give more rewards and penalties for employees who obey the rules and work according to the company's operational standards, evaluate the compensation given to employees each year, and increase employee’s compensation.

Abstract

Performance is a picture of the level of achievement of the implementation of an activity or program or policy in realizing the goal, aim, mission, and vision of the organization as stated in the strategic plan. In this case, company expects high performance. But based on data obtained from BRI Pattimura Semarang Branch Office shows fluctuation in the financial and customer achievements on savings and loan transaction from 2017 to mid 2019. It is suspected that the fluctuation is caused by factors of organization culture and leadership, so this research aims to determine wether corporate culture and leadership have an influence on performance of BRI Pattimura Semarang Branch Office. The type of this research is explanatory research, there is 50 respondents was taken as samples from 99 employees. Sampling techniques using simple random sampling and data collection techniques using questionnaire, interview, and literature study. The analytical tool used is SPSS 21.0 with a validity test, reliability test, correlation coefficient test, correlation determination, simple and multiple regression analysis, t test and F test. Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded that the corporate culture and leadership influence the performance of BRI Pattimura Semarang Branch Office as evidenced through multiple regression testing resulting in regression values of 0.176 and 0.376. BRI Pattimura Semarang Branch Office needs to ensure that all employees implement the organization culture (BRILian) to the maximum, being able to treat and coordinate employes well in order to achieve company goals and improve company performance.

Abstract

Labor productivity is the ability to perform their activities to achieve the output with defined target, but often there are obstacle in fullfilling the target.  To achieve the target CV. Laksana must take into account many factors which influence the labor productivity.  This purpose of this study is to identify the effect of training, motivation, and work environment to labor productivity CV. Laksana Frame and Body Division. This type of research is explanatory research. The sample used is 118 respondents. The sampling techniques is probability sampling. The data collection techniques are questionnaire, observation and literature review. Data analysis techniques are, validation, realibility, correlation, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t and f test with IBM SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) program version 21.0. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that training, motiviation, and work environment affects labor productivity through testing simple linear regression produce regression value of 0.467, 0.402, and 0.479. The advice  proposed to the company are to improve the suitability of training materials to work needs, the accuracy of training methods, rewards of outstanding employees, workplace layouts, and workplace safety.

Abstract

Operational objective of the company is achieving maximum profitability levels. Profitability is the ability of management companies to produce or obtain the profit effectively and efficiently. Fluktuations in profitabilitu experienced food and beverages company, and iconsistencies in the results of previous research encourage researcher to conduct this researchThe ratio that used for the profitability is ROI because it can identify the ability of management companies in managing the assets under their control to generate the income. In the dupont system profitabilitu is affected by asset turn over and profit margin.This study is aimed to identify the influence of receivables turnover and inventory turn over against the profitability of food and beverages company and which variable that had predominant influence of profitability.The population in this research are all food and beverages company of what listed at Indonesia stock exchange in the year 2010-2012. Samples was taken by purposive sampling methode with the result that selected 14 companies as a apotheosis. The type of this study was explanatory research-the variables was counted by utilizing regression analysis methode with SPSS software aids.The study inhibited the account recievable had an influence against company’s profitability, because tcencus (3.392) > ttable (2.028), whereas inventory variable had not influence toward profitablity. it could be sought in coefficient correlation test in which obtained tcencus (-1.174) > ttable (2.028). 0.213 was resulted as determination coefficient (R2), which meant the capability of recievable turnover variable for variation variable ROI explanation was 21.3%, meanwhile the balance 78.7% was adduced by other variables, which was not included within the research. In the future to attention of averages account receivable and increase sales.

Abstract

The success of a company in carrying out its operations, is inseparable from the quality management of its human resources. One important goal in the management of human resources within an organization is the creation of employee performance . PT. Pelindo III in branch Semarang is a company SOE (State Owned Enterprises) which is rapidly growing in the field of transportation services with the business of loading and unloading containers and shipping (export) and revenue (import) of goods in large quantities. The problem in this study is the decline in the performance of employees. This study aims to determine the effect of leadership (X1) and compensation (X2) on employee performance (Y) PT. Pelindo III in branch Semarang. This type of research is explanatory research. Based on the analysis data can be concluded that there is a leadership influence on job performance and compensation PT. Pelindo III in branch Semarang. The higher or better leadership and compensation received, then the employee performance will increase. Advice can be given in this study is that the leader is always willing to assist employees in dealing with the difficulties of working so that the employee's job easier and lighter and more quickly resolved to the next job. In addition, need to reconsider the granting overtime pay in accordance with the given task, considering the employees have to work after hours. Meanwhile, for the quality of works are expected the employee to work more carefully and not rush in carrying out the tasks assigned, if necessary, re-inspection and supervision of the work is done to avoid mistakes in the work so that the quality of work can be maintained and increased as expected the company.

Abstract

Abstract: One of the factor that influence employee performance is work motivation”and personal knowledge, where employee motivation is still low and personal knowledge of employees has not been practiced. If this neglected it will”be an obstacle to achieve the company’s”goals. This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation and personal knowledge on employee performance ( a case study on Candisari Kebumen Hotel employees). The sampling technique used is saturated sample in which all members of the population are used as samples because the population is relatively small.”The sample in this study amounted to 41 people”or all members of the population because the number is less than 100 people.”Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, interviews, and literature”study. While”the data analysis techniques”using SPSS software version 23.0. Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded that work motivation and personal knowledge affect the performance of Candisari Kebumen Hotel employees. This is evidenced by a simple regression test of work motivation and personal knowledge variables which produce a regression value of 0,447 and 0,517. The advice that can be given is that the hotel management often given reward to employees for their hard work so that employees are motivated to work carefullyand employees are expected to take lesson from the experience gained while working. Keywords: Work Motivation; Personal Knowledge; Employee Performance Abstrak: Untuk menghadapi para pesaingnya diperlukan kinerja yang baik dari karyawannya. Faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan salah satunya motivasi kerja dan personal knowledge, dimana motivasi karyawan yang masih rendah dan pengetahuan pribadi karyawan yang kurang diterapkan. Jika hal ini dibiarkan maka akan menjadi penghambat tercapainya tujuan perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan”untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja dan personal knowledge terhadap kinerja karyawan (studi kasus pada”karyawan Hotel Candisari Kebumen). Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh dimana semua anggota populasi digunakan sebagai sampel karena jumlah populasi relatif kecil.” Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 41 orang atau seluruh anggota populasi karena jumlahnya kurang dari 100 orang. Teknik pengumpulan”data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner, wawancara, dan studi”pustaka. Sedangkan”teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan software SPSS versi”23.0. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi kerja dan personal knowledge berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan Hotel Candisari Kebumen. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan uji regresi sederhana dari variabel motivasi kerja dan personal knowledge dimana menghasilkan nilai regresi sebesar 0,447 dan 0,517. Adapun saran yang dapat diberikan yaitu perusahaan lebih sering memberikan penghargaan kepada karyawan”atas kerja kerasnya agar karyawan termotivasi untuk bekerja dengan teliti dan karyawan diharapkan dapat mengambil pelajaran atas pengalaman yang di dapatkan selama bekerja. Kata Kunci: Motivasi Kerja; Personal Knowledge; Kinerja Karyawan

Abstract

Abstract: The company's success can be reached by achieving the company's target. Based on data obtained from employee performance at PT. Dan Liris Sukoharjo showed a decline in 2018-2019. There are indications of a decrease in employee performance caused by motivation, organisational culture, and work environment. This type of research is explanatory research, out of 359 employees taken as many as 78 respondents into a sample who are employees of PT. Dan Liris Sukohardjo weaving division. In this research, Simple Random Sampling Technique is used to do sampling. The techniques used in collecting data are questionnaires and literature studies. This study used of IBM SPSS program version 25.0. Based on the test results simultaneously, there is a significant and positive influence between the variables of motivation, organizational culture, and work environment on employee performance. Suggestions that can be made by the company PT. Dan Liris Sukohardjo increasing motivation,  giving appreciation to employees such as awards, and giving promotions for employees who have worked well. The company needs to consider the employees to implement the applicable system, to work in accordance with the responsibilities given and also to give a proper understanding of the company culture. As for supporting a good environment, it is necessary to provide insurances for employees working with machines, and to discipline employees more to work with the tools provided. Also, the company provides a special room for machines so that other employees feel more comfortable while working. Keywords : Motivation; Organizational Culture; Work Environment; Employee Performance Abstrak: Keberhasilan perusahaan dapat dicapai dengan tercapainya target perusahaan.  Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari kinerja karyawan pada PT. Dan Liris Sukoharjo menunjukkan penurunan pada tahun 2018-2019. Terdapat indikasi penurunan pada kinerja karyawan yang disebabkan oleh motivasi, budaya organisasi dan lingkungan kerja. Tipe penelitian ini adalah explanatory research, dari 359 karyawan diambil sebanyak 78 responden menjadi sampel yang merupakan karyawan PT. Dan Liris Sukohardjo divisi weaving. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan Teknik Simple Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan studi pustaka. Penelitian ini menggunakan program IBM SPSS versi 25.0. Berdasarkan hasil uji secara simultan terdapat pengaruh signifikan dan positif antara variabel motivasi, budaya organisasi, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Saran yang dapat dilakukan oleh perusahaan PT. Dan liris Sukohardjo untuk meningkatkan motivasi seperti memberikan apresiasi pada karyawan seperti penghargaan dan memberikan kenaikkan jabatan bagi karyawan yang sudah bekerja dengan baik. Perusahaan perlu memperhatikan karyawan agar dapat melaksanakan sistem yang berlaku, bekerja sesuai dengan tanggung jawab yang diberikan dan memberikan pemahaman mengenai budaya yang berlaku pada perusahaan tersebut. Adapun untuk mendukung lingkungan yang baik perlu diberikan perlindungan kepada karyawan yang bekerja dengan mesin dan lebih mendisiplinkan karyawan agar bekerja dengan alat yang disediakan serta perusahaan menyediakan ruangan khusus untuk mesin agar karyawan lain lebih merasa nyaman saaat bekerja. Kinerja karyawan PT. Dan Liris Sukohardjo. hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan uii regresi berganda sebesar 0,336, 0,137, dan 0,161. Saran yang dapat dilakukan oleh perusahaan PT Dan liris Sukohardjo perlu memberikan penghargaan kepada karyawan dan jenjang karir, memastikan karyawan juga bekerja sesuai dengan aturan yang berlaku dan memberikan ruang yang nyaman bebas dari suara bising dan pencahayaan yang memadai. Kata Kunci : Motivasi; Budaya Organisasi; Lingkungan Kerja; Kinerja Karyawan

Abstract

In today's digital era, many smartphone brands have sprung up to meet consumer needs, one of which is the Apple brand. Apple created a smartphone called the iPhone. Based on iphone sales data in Semarang City, iphone sales in February Decreased by 30.7%. This study aims to determine the effect of price, product quality, and brand awareness on iphone purchasing decisions. The research method used is explanatory research by sampling technique purposive and accidental sampling. The sample for this research was 100 Undip Social Sciences students who had decided to buy an iPhone. The results showed that price, product quality, and brand awareness partially or simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Partially, price contributed 34.5%, product quality 38.6%, and brand awareness 30.1%. Meanwhile, price, product quality, and brand awareness simultaneously have an effect of 51.1% on purchasing decisions. Researchers suggest that Apple provide price discounts for older iPhone variants, increase its reliability, make iPhones more varied so that consumers have more choices, and increase promotions without damaging the brand image.Pada era digital saat ini, banyak brand-brand smartphone yang bermunculan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen salah satunya brand apple. Apple menciptakan smartphone yang diberi nama iphone. Berdasarkan data penjualan iphone di Kota Semarang, penjualan iphone pada bulan Februari mengalami penurunan sebesar 30,7%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh harga, kualitas produk, dan kesadaran merek terhadap keputusan pembelian iphone. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory research dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive dan accidental sampling. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 100 mahasiswa Fisip Undip yang pernah memutuskan membeli iphone. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan harga, kualitas produk, dan kesadaran merek secara parsial maupun secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Secara parsial harga menyumbang pengaruh sebesar 34,5%, kualitas produk sebesar 38,6%, dan kesadaran merek sebesar 30,1%. Adapun secara simultan harga, kualitas produk, dan kesadaran merek berpengaruh sebesar 51,1% terhadap keputusan pembelian. Peneliti menyarankan apple memberi potongan harga untuk iphone varian lama, meningkatkan reliabilitasnya, membuat iphone lebih bervariasi agar konsumen lebih memiliki banyak pilihan, dan meningkatkan promosi tanpa merusak citra merek.

Abstract

Technology opens new channel namely E-commerce that allows its consumer to make purchase decisions through mobile phones. Shopee revenue reported to be fluctuated and decreased at the fourth quarter of  2021 to first quarter of 2022. The company also experienced an increase in losses in the first quarter of 2020, first quarter of 2021 and first quarter of 2022. This research aims to understand the effect of social media and viral marketing toward purchase decision at Shopee. This research uses quantitative data which use questionnaire from the sample of 100 Diponegoro University Students who use Shopee. This research is using non probability sampling and data analyzed using SPSS. The discussion resulted that the social media variable have positive significant influence on the purchase decision, the viral marketing variable have positive significant influence on the purchase decision, the social media and viral marketing variable simultaneously have positive significant influence on the purchase decision.  The company are recommend to increase the social media and viral marketing also for further research it is recommend to explore more about the respondent identity.Keywords: Purchase Decision; Social Media; Viral Marketing
