Abstract

Extracurricular is an activity that is carried out outside the hours of learning. Extracurricular aims to hone the talents and interests of students in various fields of science. This study aims to describe the extracurricular activities of musical instruments pianika and any constraints found teachers in extracurricular activities of musical instruments pianika in SDN 2 Puja Mulia Bandar District Bener Meriah Regency. This research approach is qualitative with descriptive type. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis with data reduction, data presentation, data verification. This research was conducted in SDN 2 Puja Mulia Bandar District Bener Meriah Regency. Based on research data that the learning process in the extracurricular activities of musical instruments pianika in SDN 2 Puja Mulia Bandar District Bener Meriah Regency conducted in three meetings. At each meeting consists of three stages of the process learning is the initial stage, the core stage and the closing stage. At the first meeting the teacher gives only insight and basic knowledge of music. At the second meeting, the teacher taught about the technique of searching and blowing and gave the material of the song entitled “Cicak-Cicak on The Wall”. At the third meeting, the teacher repeated the song that had been taught and conducted a practical test. This test is done only to see the skills of students in playing a musical instrument pianika. The constraints on extracurricular activities musical instruments pianika there are three constraint factors consisting of factors: (1) Facilities and infrastructure factors, (2)Family Factor, and (3) Student Factor.

Abstract

This paper aims to develop and determine the feasibility of Rainbow spin learning media on interaction material between ASEAN countries at MTs Dayah Modern Arun. This research is a research development or Research Development (RD) with the ADDIE development model. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII MTs Dayah Modern Arun with 31 students plus one social science subject teacher. The instruments used in data collection used validation sheets and questionnaires. The results show (a) Analysis, at this stage the researcher determines the Rainbow spin learning media as a learning medium in overcoming student boredom during the learning process; (b) Design, researchers designed the Rainbow spin learning media design using the Photoshop application before it was made into the original form; (c) Development, Rainbow spin learning media experienced several improvements based on the results of suggestions and validators; (d) Implementation, students look active and enthusiastic in the learning process using Rainbow spin learning media; (e) Evaluation, at this stage it is known that Rainbow spin learning media is suitable for use as learning media. Based on the results of media and material validation, the values obtained were 86.25% and 95% with very feasible criteria. The percentage of teacher responses was 90% with very decent criteria, while the results of student responses got the percentage of 8.33% with very feasible criteria. This means that the Rainbow spin learning media is suitable for use as a learning medium in the material of interaction between ASEAN countries. It is suggested to other researchers that further development or changes need to be made so that the material that can be used in Rainbow spin learning media is not only limited to material interactions between ASEAN countries but also other materials.Keywords: Learning media, Rainbow Spin Game, ADDIE development model

Abstract

Teacher competence is an interesting factor to study for two main reasons, namely (1) Teachers not only play a role in transferring knowledge to their students but provide role models for attitudes, speech, and behavior because of students. (2) Teacher professionalism is not final because as a human being, the teacher always grows and changes. Therefore teachers can improve or improve their performance in accordance with the expectations of the institution. Related to Professionalism Teachers are required to have four Competencies, namely Personality Competency, Social Competence, Professional Competence, and Pedagogical Competence. On this occasion the author will examine the Competence of Economics Teachers in SMAN 1 Arongan Lambalek. This study aims to determine (1) Competence of economics teachers at SMAN 1 Arongan Lambalek and (2) Effect of Competence on Economic Teachers on Student Achievement in SMAN 1 Arongan Lambalek. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach to the type of descriptive research. The data source is students who represent each class of IPS XI and IPS XII using random sampling techniques. By using data collection techniques such as observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the questionnaire validity test of questions, normality test on student achievement, and multiple linear regression using the f test and t test. Based on the results of data analysis, the findings of this study can be put forward as follows: reliability testing on the competence of economics teachers on learning achievement gets results 0.635 0.60, normality testing 0.23 0.05. Then in multiple linear regression testing, the equation Y = 73,493 + -0,28X1 + 0,294 X2 + -0,11 X3 + -0,130 X4 is obtained. In partial hypothesis testing results obtained on professional competence of -0.559, pendagogic competence of 2,311, personality competence of -0,258, and social competence of -0,890 with a table of 1,991. Simultaneous hypothesis testing obtained F test results of 1,647 with Ftable of 2.14 Then the hypothesis testing method Ho is accepted Ha rejected.

Abstract

Kondisi sosial ekonomi  orang tua juga berhubungan dengan kemampuan orang tua dalam hal memberi motivasi sesuai dengan latar belakang pendidikan, pendapatan orang tua dan pekerjaan  juga dapat mempengaruhi motivasi belajar anak-anaknya. faktor yang biasanya dapat mempengaruhi prestasi akademik di latar belakangi oleh pekerjaann orang tua, pendidikan orang tua, tingkat sosial orang tua. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi sosial ekonomi orang tua. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Untuk pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan kuisioner. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa FKIP Ekonomi angkatan 2016, 2017 dan 2028 berjumlah 95 orang mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier sederhana, koefisien korelasi dan uji t untuk menguji dan membuktikan hipotesis penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang di peroleh, hasil koefisien korelasi r = 0,124 yang berarti korelasi antara variabel kondisi sosial ekonomi orangtua dengan variabel prestasi belajar mahasiswa memiliki hubungan sebesar 12,4%. Nilai koefisien determinasi menunjukan pengaruh kondis sosial ekonomi orang tua terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa ssebesar 0,015 atau 1.5%. Untuk menguji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini digunakan tes statistik uji t. Hasil analisis dan pengolahan data menunjukan tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara kondisi sosial  ekonomi orangtua terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa, dilihat dari persamaan regresi sederhana Y =3.038 + 0,006X. Selanjutnya uji t pada taraf signifikasi 5% diperoleh hasil thitung 1,201 ttabel 1,986 Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kondis sosial ekonomi orang tua terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa FKIP Ekonomi Universitas Syiah Kuala.

Abstract

Dropout is one of the social conditions experienced by the people of Cot Seumeureung Village, Samatiga Subdistrict, almost every year found children who drop out of school with various factors that cause it so interesting to know what exactly causes the children in this village decided to quit school. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that cause children drop out in the village of Cot Seumeureung Samatiga District West Aceh regency. This study used a qualitative approach, the type of research used is descriptive research. The subjects of this study are children dropping out of school in Cot Seumeureung Village as many as 17 people, the whole subject was made a respondent in this research. Data collection was done by interview, documentation, and observation technique. The type of interview selected is an in-depth interview. Data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative data analysis that is describing and interpreting data obtained in field from informant, with steps: data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification. The result of the research shows that the factors causing the drop out of school in Cot Seumeureung Village of Samatiga Subdistrict are five: family economic factor, lack of awareness and attention of parents of children education in Cot Seumeureung village, low interest of children for school caused by environment and friend Peers. Culture is the fourth factor, which is related to people's habits that leads their school-aged children to help earn a living, and the location or location of remote schools is the fifth factor that can lead to drop out of Cot Seumeureung Village school.

Abstract

Many learning media can be applied in the learning environment, especially for schools that are already available facilities and infrastructure can be utilised audio media made to provide flexible learning facilities. This study aims to determine the process of applying podcast-based audio learning media assisted by the spotify application in social studies lessons at SMP IT Nurul Ishlah Banda Aceh. Then to find out the student response to the application of podcast-based audio learning media assisted by spotify application in social studies lessons at SMP IT Nurul Ishlah Banda Aceh. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The subjects in this study were all students of class VIII-2, totalling 26 students. Data collection techniques in this study include observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be seen that (1) The application of podcast-based audio learning media assisted by the spotify application in social studies lessons at SMP IT Nurul Ishlah Banda Aceh has been carried out well in accordance with the steps of media application and the syntax of the learning model used, namely problem solving. This can be seen from the results of the analysis of the application of learning media obtained an average value of 85.4% and entered into good criteria. (2) The response of students of class VIII-2 SMP IT Nurul Ishlah Banda Aceh in the application of audio learning media is good.
