Abstract

Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer that occurs in women and in developing countries including Indonesia. VIA examination is an alternative screening that has several benefits when compared to existing tests, namely effective (not much different from standard diagnostic tests), easier and cheaper. This study aims to analyze the factors related to the participation of WUS in the VIA examination at the Paal V Health Center, Jambi City. This type of research is analytic observational with cross sectional design. This research was conducted in September-December 2018 involving 81 WUS who visited the Paal V Health Center. The dependent variable in this study was the participation of women of childbearing age in the VIA examination while the independent variables were knowledge, attitudes, roles of officers and family support. Data analysis using chi square with a significance level of 95%. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between knowledge (0.223), attitude (0.081), officer role (0.745), family support (0.003).

Abstract

The use of VCT clinics is very important because it is the most important “entrance” to prevention, care, support and treatment services including prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV which is an important component of treatment with ARVs. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors related to the behavior of using VCT services. This includes observational analytic research using a cross sectional study design. This research was conducted at the Kenali Besar Health Center, Jambi City in February-July 2019. This study involved 93 participants in the form of pregnant women who made antenatal visits, namely pregnant women in the 1st to 3rd trimesters. The instrument is a tool used to collect data. The type of instrument used in this study was a questionnaire sheet. Then the results of filling out the questionnaire were analyzed using a distribution table which was confirmed in the form of frequency distribution, percentage and narrative. The statistical test used was chi square at a significant value = 0.05. The use of VCT is related to knowledge (0.000), attitude (0.000), and service personnel (0.000). VCT utilization behavior will be carried out if knowledge is good, positive and has a good service role. It is hoped that health workers will increase public understanding of VCT services in the form of socialization and counseling.

Abstract

Data from the Office of Religious Affairs, Mendahara Ulu District, Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency, through an initial survey, there were marriages of less than 20 years of age, teenagers who married under the age of 19 in 2017 reached 142 out of 1,066 teenagers Early marriage is a problem that can have an impact on the mother, the occurrence of miscarriage in the first child, giving birth to the first child with low birth weight and giving birth with obstructed labor. The background of early marriage is due to economic status, socio-culture and parental support. This research is a qualitative research with in-depth interviews and focus group discussions. This study aims to analyze socio-cultural, family and economic support for early teenage marriage in Sinar Wajo Village, Mendahara Ulu District, Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency in 2019. The method of taking informants is by strata random sampling, the informants in this study were 26 people consisting of 1 village secretary, 1 KUA officer, 6 parents whose children marry early, 6 parents whose children do not marry early, 6 teenagers who marry early and 6 teenagers who do not marry early. The research was conducted from January to June 2019 using research instruments in the form of in-depth interview guidelines and FGD guidelines. The results of the study showed that early teenage marriage in Sinar Wajo Village, Mendahara Ulu District, Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency in 2019, marriage in Sinar Wajo Village was supported by family, socio-cultural and economic status. It is hoped that there will be cooperation between health workers and KUA officers in providing counseling on the dangers of early marriage, including CA. Cervix, giving birth to a low birth weight baby, obstructed labor and easy miscarriage in the first child.

Abstract

Globally, 52% of pregnant women in developing countries are anemic. This figure is greater than the rate of anemia in pregnant women in industrialized countries which is only 20%. The countries with the highest prevalence of anemia were India (88%), followed by Africa (50%), Latin America (40%) and the Caribbean (30%). The WHO report in 2008, the incidence of anemia in Southeast Asia was 48.2%, Indonesia was ranked 58th with an anemia rating of 44.3% in pregnant women. This community service activity is in the form of HB checks, counseling on the impact of anemia and pregnant women can use the compliance application to consume blood-added tablets in Penyengat Olak Village, Jambi Luar Kota, Muaro Jambi Regency in 2021. The results of this community service are a minimum HB level of 7.3 g/dl and a maximum of 11.2 g/dl before using the compliance monitoring application to consume FE tablets, the implementation of counseling on the impact of anemia on pregnant women in Penyengat Olak Village in 2021 to 30 pregnant women, as many as 24 (80%) respondents were obedient in consuming FE tablets and levels Minimum HB 7.6 gr/dl and maximum 12.2 gr/dl after using the compliance monitoring application taking FE tablets. It is hoped that this community service activity can increase the knowledge of pregnant women about anemia in pregnancy, increase the compliance of pregnant women in consuming FE tablets, and increase the HB levels of pregnant women who obediently consume FE tablets.

Abstract

The application of ANC visit behavior according to the protocol is certainly strongly influenced by the knowledge of pregnant women about ANC during a pandemic. One way that can be done to increase the knowledge of pregnant women about pregnant women's health services is by providing online health education. One of them is by providing e-book media or electronic books. This study uses a pre-experimental design that is one group pretest-posttest to see the effect of health education using e-book media on the knowledge of pregnant women about antenatal care services during the covid-19 pandemic. This research will be conducted at the Putri Ayu Health Center, Jambi City in February-June 2022. The population of this study was all pregnant women at the Putri Ayu Health Center, which were 104 people. The sample size using the Slovin formula as many as 57 people, taking the sample using the Quata sampling technique. The instrument used in this research is filling out a questionnaire or questionnaire. The data analysis in this study was univariate and bivariate using the T-test. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that before being given health education using e-books, most of the respondents had low knowledge of 44 respondents (77.2%) and after most of them had high knowledge of 31 respondents (54.4%). The results of the statistical test are known to have an p-value of 0.000, which means that there is an effect of health education using e-book media on the knowledge of pregnant women about antenatal care services during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Putri Ayu Health Center, Jambi City. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an effect of health education using e-book media on the knowledge of pregnant women about antenatal care services during the covid-19 pandemic at Putri Ayu Health Center, Jambi City.

Abstract

The problem faced by the Indonesian government is the high prevalence of anemia in pregnant women. One of the factors causing anemia due to lack of iron intake in food consumed every day which is characterized by hemoglobin (Hb) levels below normal. This study aims to analyze the effect of giving e-books to the knowledge and adherence of pregnant women to consume FE tablets. This study uses a pre-experimental design that is one group pretest-posttest which was carried out at Pematang Rahim Village Assistant Health Center in March-July 2022 involving 31 pregnant women. The instruments used in this study were filling out questionnaires and observation sheets. The analysis used is univariate and bivariate analysis with statistical tests used to analyze the data for the two variables using T-test with a significance level of 5%. The results showed that the knowledge of pregnant women about Fe tablets before being given an e-book, most of the respondents had sufficient knowledge of 14 respondents (45.2%) and after being given the e-book most of the respondents had good knowledge of 20 respondents (64.5%) with P- values ​​< 0.05. The conclusion of the study is that there is a significant effect between the provision of e-books on the knowledge and compliance of pregnant women in consuming Fe tablets in the Working Area of ​​Pematang Rahim Village Assistant Health Center.

Abstract

Vaginal discharge prevention behaviors are one of the priorities to optimally improve reproductive health in adolescents. This research is an analytical descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study was young women at SMAN 3 Jambi City in 2022 as many as 400 respondents, sampling using random sampling techniques using the Solvin formula as many as 80 respondents. The study was conducted from January-June 2022. Data collection is carried out by filling out a questionnaire using a google form by respondents. Data processing in this study used univariate and bivariate analysis with Chi-Square statistical tests. The results of the study obtained as many as 70 (87%) respondents behaved well, as many as 70 (87%) respondents had high self-motivation, as many as 74 (92%) respondents had high perceived benefits, as many as 44 (55%) respondents had high family and peer support, as many as 57 (71%) respondents had a strong commitment to action, there was a relationship of self-motivation, perceived benefits, family and peer support, and commitment to actions towards whitish prevention behavior in young women at SMAN 3 Jambi City in 2022. It is hoped that the results of this study can provide information for SMAN 3 Jambi City about the incidence of vaginal discharge and can immediately carry out early detection, especially for students at SMA N 3 Jambi City, as well as be used as a reference source regarding the analysis of vaginal discharge prevention behavior in young women based on the Health Promotion Model Theory.
