Abstract

The context of learning in the 4.0 revolution era is currently a challenge, especially in education at the university level. Creative learning processes need to be developed so that learning patterns need to be updated by placing students as learning subjects and applying more flexible learning media. This study aims to analyze the level of closeness of the relationship and see whether there is a simultaneous (together) and partial effect between digital literacy and students' self-directed learning. This research leads to quantitative research. The research instrument used was an open and closed questionnaire. The questionnaire used in this study was an open and closed questionnaire. The sample in this study was 33 students using the purposive sampling technique. The technique used to analyze the data is descriptive qualitative analysis, quantitative and inferential statistics. The results showed that there was a correlation that had a simultaneous effect. It can be concluded that there is a strong correlation level and has a simultaneous and partial influence between digital literacy and students' self-directed learning on the use of e-modules in evaluating the process and learning outcomes of courses. The use of e-modules can make it easier for students to learn and can improve independent learning in students.

Abstract

The use of information technology in education is a real impact of the development of science and technology. The development of technology in the field of education has led to innovations in assessment systems such as web-based assessments. The use of web-based assessment to assess student character will bring up different student perceptions which can be influenced by gender differences. Therefore, this study was designed to analyze how the comparison of students' perceptions of the application of web-based character assessment in science learning based on gender differences. This research is quantitative research with a survey approach which was conducted by filling out a student perception questionnaire containing 30 statements. The sample in this study was 120 students who were selected by purposive sampling. The data obtained will be analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with hypothesis testing in the form of one-way Anova test to determine whether there is a comparison of student perceptions of the application of web-based character assessment in science learning based on gender differences. The results showed that male students' perceptions showed more positive results than female students' perceptions of the application of web-based character assessment in science learning.

Abstract

Abstract Perceptions in the Use of Web-based Character Assessment from Gnder Perspective. Objectives The purpose of this study is to determine the perception of the use of web characters based on gender differences. Methods This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach. Participants were eighth grade students of SMPN 6 Batanghari with a sample of 140 students. The data collection technique used a student perception questionnaire. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and inferential statistics in the form of t-test. Findings The results of the study found that the value of Sig. (2-tailed) female students in grades A and B were 0.031 and 0.020 while the value of Sig. (2-tailed) male students in grades A and B are 0.033 and 0.021. Female students reported to have better perceptions than male students. Conclusion Students have varied perceptions about web-based character assessment and female students’ perception is better than others.Keywords Perceptions, web-based assessment, character, gender.Abstrak Persepsi Siswa dalam Penggunaan Penilaian Karakter Berbasis Web dari Perspektif Gender. Tujuan tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa pada penggunaan penilaian karakter berbasis web yang dianalisis berdasarkan perbedaan gender. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Partisipan merupakan siswa kelas delapan SMPN 6 Batanghari dengan sampel sebanyak 140 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner persepsi siswa. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial berupa uji-t. Temuan Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa nilai Sig. (2-tailed) siswa perempuan di kelas A dan B sebesar 0.031 dan 0.020 sedangkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) siswa laki-laki di kelas A dan B sebesar 0.033 dan 0.021. Siswa perempuan dilaporkan memiliki persepsi yang lebih baik daripada siswa laki-laki. Kesimpulan Siswa memiliki persepsi yang bervariasi tentang penilaian karakter berbasis web dan persepsi siswa perempuan lebih baik daripada yang lain.Kata kunci Persepsi, penilaian berbasis web, karakter, jenis kelamin.DOI http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v11.i2.202117

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to develop an affective assessment instrument based on Krathwohl-Anderson taxonomy in class XI on hydrocarbons and petroleum and to find out the teacher's response to an affective assessment instrument based on Krathwohl-Anderson taxonomy in class XI on hydrocarbons and petroleum. Methodology: This research is a development research with the ADDIE development model. This research was conducted at SMAN Titian Teras Jambi with 10 class XI teachers as subjects who were obtained by purposive sampling technique. The instrument in this study was a teacher response instrument in which quantitative and qualitative data were processed using descriptive statistics and the Miles and Huberman technique. Main Findings: The affective assessment instrument based on Krathwohl-Anderson taxonomy in class XI on the developed hydrocarbon and petroleum material was declared valid and feasible to use. Furthermore, the teacher gave a very good response with a percentage of 60% towards the affective assessment instrument based on the Krathwohl-Anderson taxonomy. Novelty/Originality of this study: The latest update in this research is to develop an affective assessment instrument based on the Krathwohl-Anderson taxonomy on hydrocarbon and petroleum materials. There are no studies on the development of affective assessment instruments based on the Krathwohl-Anderson taxonomy. Therefore, this study complements previous studies.
