Abstract

Companies in Indonesia are currently facing fierce competition as more competitors enter Indonesia. To win the competition, the local companies have to pay attention to consumer behavior in buying a product. Factors that influence purchase decision of local products include consumer ethnocentrism and perceived value. The objective of this study is to investigate how consumer ethnocentrism and perceived value influence purchase decisions. This research uses descriptive research. Data were collected through a survey by distributing questionnaires to 200 respondents and returning as many as 197 respondents. The results of the study indicate a positive influence between ethnocentrism consumers on purchasing decisions of the local shoe. Perceived value also significantly influence purchasing decisions and perceived value proved to moderate the relationship between ethnocentrism consumers and purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The study was conducted in several private universities in Bandung that already launched a program of internationalization in response to the issue of globalization are increasingly demanding education providers increasingly globally oriented. This study aims to analyze further the factors that drive an institution to improve the quality of teaching, particularly in the preparation of curriculum arrangement and learning plans that meet global orientation by analyzing two variables that allegedly as the drivers, namely institution favorable governance and faculty’s global awareness. The research method using descriptive analysis and verificative analysis with IBM SPSS ver. 22 and IBM AMOS ver. 20 as a data processor. The results show that good institutional governance can force lecturers to develop their knowledge and global competence, without any support and strengthening in the form of legitimacy from the institute, is not able to create a globalized learning, and good institutional governance is accompanied by global knowledge and awareness, Can make lecturers a major axis in the creation of a globally oriented learning environment, especially in drafting the curriculum and globalized learning instruction.

Abstract

Most of indonesian societies consume rice as staple food and therefore need the amount of rice that meet the demand within the infinite time. Food warehouse is needed in order to maintain supplies. Rice warehouse should be located in the strategic location so that it is easy to reach and to avoid the stagnation of supply. In addition, that can also be useful for financing streamline because it can minimize the logistics costs. Dolog as a unit of the agency Bulog is responsible to maintain the stability and availability of basic foodstuffs in the region of Indonesia and to participate in the procurement and supply of basic foodstuffs especially rice. To carry out its duties, Dolog also must have an ideal rice warehouse which its capacity should meet the demand of the rice according to the market supplied. The result of cluster method used in this research suggests that there are three ideal warehouse locations to supply main markets in Bandung. If the three ideal warehouse locations are compared with the existing warehouse, proposed warehouse location donates saving about IDR 45,032,203 per year or approximately IDR 125,000 per day. So there are two solutions can be taken by Dolog that the first is open new warehouses and the second is using the old warehouse and adding the shortage storage capacity by opening additional warehouse at ± 6,000 tons.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menguji 3 (tiga) sistem manufaktur, yaitu sistem manufaktur tradisional, just in time, dan theory of constraints dalam lingkungan industri single product flow shop yang mempunyai lintasan seri dimana ketiga sistem manufaktur dipengaruhi variasi total inventory buffer dan waktu proses yang berbeda sesuai dengan filosofi dari masing-masing sistem. Adapun tujuannya untuk mengukur dan menganalisa performansi, melihat ada/tidaknya pengaruh sistem manufaktur, variasi total inventory buffer serta interaksi keduanya terhadap performansi flowtime dan throughput. Penulis menggunakan Simulation Manufacturing ARENA untuk menguji sistem nyata keadaan lingkungan industri yang dicobakan ke dalam model tiruan simulasi komputer. Di akhir penelitian ini terbukti bahwa jenis sistem manufaktur, variasi total inventory buffer, dan interaksi keduanya ternyata mempengaruhi besarnya performansi nilai rata-rata flowtime dan throughput yang dihasilkan dari masing-masing sistem yang dicobakan. Simpulan terakhir adalah filosofi SMT tidaklah memberikan keuntungan yang lebih jika dibandingkan JIT dan TOC. Selanjutnya TOC mempunyai performansi di atas SMT dan JIT pada performansi rata-rata troughput, walaupun kadang-kadang TOC mempunyai rata-rata flowtime yang lebih tinggi dari SMT dan JIT, yang mana hal ini sebenarnya menjadi atribut bahwa TOC membutuhkan lebih sedikit inventory dibandingkan dengan sistem manufaktur lainnya. Abstract

Abstract Analysis of The Entrepreneurial Intentions Emergence at Business and non-Business Students in Indonesia. Objective This study confirm empirically the student entrepreneurial intentions (SEI) related to the study program, family background, students business experience and describing the reflection of the SEI at several universities in Indonesia. Method A survey-type quantitative approach, using descriptive, contingency, and CFA analysis. Findings The Study programs have a relationship with the emergence of SEI. In addition, the family background in doing business and the students business experience did not show a relationship with SEI in business students, but against non-business students. Conclusion Not only business study programs capable of arousing SEI, but non-business study programs can also trigger SEI, even though non-business study programs do not provide entrepreneurship learning as much as the business study program curriculum. This finding is interesting to discuss because it can explore what kind of business or non-business study programs can actually strengthen the SEI.Keywords entrepreneurial intention, family background, business experience, study program, curriculum Abstrak Analisis Munculnya Niat Wirausaha pada Mahasiswa Program Studi Bisnis dan Non Bisnis di Indonesia. Tujuan Mengkonfirmasi secara empiris niat berwirausaha mahasiswa (Student Entrepreneurial Intention/SEI) dikaitkan dengan program studi, latar belakang keluarga, pengalaman bisnis mahasiswa serta mendeskripsikan cerminan SEI di beberapa perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Metode Pendekatan kuantitatif berjenis survei, dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif, kontingensi, dan CFA. Temuan Prodi memiliki hubungan terhadap munculnya SEI. Selanjutnya, latar belakang keluarga yang berbisnis, serta pengalaman berbisnis tidak berhubungan dengan SEI pada mahasiswa prodi bisnis, hal ini bertentangan dengan mahasiswa prodi non-bisnis. Kesimpulan Tidak hanya prodi bisnis saja yang mampu membangkitkan SEI, tetapi prodi non-bisnis juga dapat memicu munculnya SEI tidak menyediakan pembelajaran kewirausahaan sebanyak kurikulum prodi bisnis. Temuan ini menjadi menarik untuk didiskusikan karena dapat menggali prodi yang bagaimana yang dapat memperkuat munculya niat berwirausaha mahasiswa.Kata kunci niat berwirausaha, latar belakang keluarga pebisnis, pengalaman berbisnis mahasiswa, program studi, kurikulum.DOI http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v11.i1.202103

Abstract

Abstract: Entrepreneurship is a science that can be learned, and educational institutions have a role in increasing the number of entrepreneurs. This study aims to find out the relationship between entrepreneurial education and attitude, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and entrepreneurial intention. The population of this research was university students at Widyatama University, and the sampling method used was purposive sampling. A total of 96 cases were analyzed. The data for the current study were obtained from students who had been and were taking entrepreneurship education. In order to test the validity, reliability, and hypothesis, the SPSS model was used. The results show that attitude has a significant influence on entrepreneurial intention. Another finding shows that entrepreneurial self-efficacy has a significant influence on entrepreneurial intention. Also, the results surprisingly found that entrepreneurship education does not have a significant effect on entrepreneurial intention. After all, this study provides theoretical and managerial contributions to the literature.Keywords: entrepreneurial education, attitude, self efficacy, entrepreneurial intention.Abstrak: Kewirausahaan merupakan ilmu yang dapat dipelajari, dan lembaga pendidikan memiliki peran dalam meningkatkan jumlah wirausahawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pendidikan dan sikap kewirausahaan, efikasi diri kewirausahaan, dan niat berwirausaha. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Universitas Widyatama, dan metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Sebanyak 96 kasus dianalisis. Data untuk penelitian ini diperoleh dari mahasiswa yang pernah dan sedang mengikuti pendidikan kewirausahaan. Untuk menguji validitas, reliabilitas, dan hipotesis digunakan model SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap berpengaruh signifikan terhadap niat berwirausaha. Temuan lain menunjukkan bahwa efikasi diri kewirausahaan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap niat berwirausaha. Juga, hasil yang mengejutkan menemukan bahwa pendidikan kewirausahaan tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap niat berwirausaha. Abstract

This research aimed to build a quadruple-helix partnership model between universities, government, industry, and community from the higher education (HE) perspective in creating various innovations to support sustainable regional socio-economic development. This study used exploratory quantitative research to develop, predict the model, and explain the empirical evidence. In addition to the model, this study found that institutional sustainable entrepreneurial culture (SEC) could be developed by transforming the university into an entrepreneurial university (EU) and applying sustainable development goals (SDGs) principles to teaching-researching-community service activities, management and governance, and institutional leadership. This study also confirmed that universities with an SEC cannot directly affect the emergence of various innovations sourced from knowledge and research results but must be mediated by internal consensus within academia and external consensus among partnership actors. The research contributions are aimed at: i) HE policymakers who will transform their institutions into EU as a first step in carrying out the university’s third mission; ii) HE will build quadruple helix partnerships; and iii) Micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) which will take advantage of the innovations offered in the quadruple-helix. In addition, this research deepens the Etzkowitz partnership path model in which HE, a source of knowledge for innovation, becomes more focused in the form of SDGs-based EU.
