Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mengetahui lingkungan keluarga siswa IPS,Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Pasir Pengaraian, (2) mengetahuiketerampilan sosial mahasiswa program studi IPS Fakultas Keguruan dan Pendidikan GuruUniversitas Pasir Pengaraian, dan (3) mengetahui pengaruh Lingkungan Keluarga terhadapketerampilan sosial mahasiswa IPS, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, UniversitasPasir Pengaraian. Variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah LingkunganKeluarga (X) dan Keterampilan Sosial (Y). Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis datapenelitian adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi sederhana. Teknik pengambilansampel yang digunakan adalah total sampel dari seluruh populasi. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa lingkungan keluarga mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Ilmu Sosialmasuk dalam kategori tinggi yang memperoleh skor rata-rata 3,73, sedangkan keterampilansosial mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Ilmu Sosial termasuk dalam kategori sedangsehingga diperoleh skor rata-rata dari 3.13. Sementara itu, pengaruh lingkungan keluargaterhadap keterampilan sosial secara signifikan mempengaruhi persentase 28,9%. Oleh karenaitu, lingkungan keluarga dapat digunakan sebagai alat prediksi untuk meningkatkanketerampilan sosial siswa.

Abstract

The writing of this article aims to find out the basic values that form the basis of tolerance and tolerance forms among Muslims, Buddhists and Christians in Pasir Jaya Village, Rambah Hilir District, Rokan Hulu Regency. The Research Participants are the Village Head, Community Leaders, and Prominent Islamic, Christian and Buddhist leaders, Youth Chairperson, PKK Chairperson and Pasir Jaya Village Community. This research site was conducted in Pasir Jaya Village, Rambah Hilir District, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, documentation and analyzed qualitatively through data analysis techniques using data reduction, data display and data verification. This study concludes that the basic values on which tolerance is formed between Muslims, Christians and Buddhists are normatively found in religious values and cultural values. Meanwhile, empirically include: human values related to help, nationalism values related to cooperation and mutual cooperation, historical values related to respect, and democratic values related to deliberation. While the form of tolerance is manifested in social interaction and cooperation which includes: (1) Cooperation in development, (2) Participation in weddings, (3) participating in events of death, (4) Attitudes of respect and respect for religious celebrations, and (5) ) Deliberation in village activities.

Abstract

Indonesia is a developing country where the majority of the population is very much using motorized vehicles, especially vocational students who drive motorized vehicles improperly run red lights, operate cell phones, design their motorbikes that are not in accordance with factory standards and even do not equip themselves with a driving license (This SIM has an impact on traffic law awareness of Zaidar Yahya Vocational School students. So the aim of the study was to determine the level of Traffic Law Awareness of Zaidar Yahya Vocational School Students. While the research method used descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection techniques used observation, interview and documentation techniques. This study shows that the level of traffic law awareness among students of SMK Zaidar Yahya is quite good. This is proven that among these students are only afraid of sanctions when raiding motorized vehicles, do not have a driving license (S IM), and do not use helmets, mirrors etc. Therefore, there is a lack of legal awareness of students in traffic, even though knowledge about traffic has been given, there are still students who commit traffic violations and are not aware of safety and security in driving.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low level of student's democratic awareness, especially the Pasir Pengaraian University Student Executive Board in participating in various activities carried out on campus, therefore it is necessary to increase students' democratic awareness through Citizenship Education as a social cultural domain which is a civil society movement. This study aims (1). To find out the condition of democratic awareness in the Pasir Pengaraian University Student Executive Board (BEM) Organization (2). To find out the process of increasing democratic awareness in the Pasir Pengaraian University Student Executive Board (BEM) Organization. This study uses a qualitative approach to the case study method. Data and information collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results of this study are: (1). Conditions of democratic awareness of the Pasir Pengaraian University Student Executive Board include: freedom of organization and the establishment of cooperation, opportunities in expressing opinions, mutual trust and mutual respect, and having equality in the organization. (2). Student democracy awareness raising at Pasir Pengaraian University Student Executive Board includes: Application of persuasive approach, conducting reasoning activities, leadership and cadre training and effectiveness of activities carried out by the Student Executive Board in enhancing democratic awareness capable of the performance of the Pasir Pengaraian University BEM board.

Abstract

Sejarah dan kebudayaan lokal perlu diajarkan kepada generasi muda di setiap daerah agar sejarah dan kebudayaan lokal tidak hilang ditelan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dan masuknya budaya asing ke indonesia, sebab sejarah dan budaya merupak ciri khas negara Indonesia yang terdiri dari berbagai macam suku dan budaya yang memiliki keunikan sendiri-sendiri, kebudayaan Indonesia berasal dari kebudayaan daerah dan kebudayaan local masing-masing provinsi di Indonesia. Daerah Rokan Hulu, Provinsi Riau, memiliki multi kultural yang terdiri dari berbagai macam suku, namun di dominasi oleh suku melayu yang merupakan suku asli di provinsi Riau. Dan juga rokan hulu memiliki banyak situs sejarah yang belum banyak diketahui baik oleh masyarakat rokan hulu.untuk itu dilakukan pengabdian masyarakat tentang pelestarian sejarah dan kebudayaan melayu bagi mahasiswa pendidikan IPS, fakultas keguruan dan ilmu pendidikan, universitas pasir pengaraian.

Abstract

In today's era of education, the challenge for teachers to understand students' characteristics that align with the changing times has become increasingly urgent. This is especially pertinent in teaching Social Sciences (IPS) at the elementary school level, where shaping behaviours and attitudes in line with Pancasila values takes centre stage. This research analyses teaching methods to enhance students' comprehension of the IPS subject within the classroom environment. The research methodology employed is a qualitative approach through a literature review, allowing for collecting information from various sources related to relevant teaching methods. The research findings reveal that several effective methods for enhancing students' understanding include Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), which connects learning concepts with everyday life; Cooperative Learning, which fosters interaction among students; Group Discussions to develop speaking and listening skills; Question and Answer sessions to stimulate critical thinking; Role Playing to understand different perspectives; and Field Trips (Karyawisata) for experiential-based learning. This research is expected to provide valuable guidance for teachers in creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences, with the potential to overcome boredom and foster creative thinking patterns among students within the classroom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai tradisi silek tari dalam upacara adat pernikahan suku melayu di rambah hilir kabupaten rokan hulu. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode etnografi. Sedangkan informan dalam penelitian ini ialah guru silek, pesilek, tokoh adat, tokoh agama tokoh masyarakat, pemuda, masyarakat, dan pemerintah kecamatan rambah hilir. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawaancara dan dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik analisis data mengunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prosesi pertunjukan silek tari dalam upacara adat pernikahan rambah hilir dimulai ketika mempelai pria di antarkan menuju rumah mempelai wanita, setelah sampai di depan halaman rumah barulah ditampilkan silek tari, pertama sombah sepuluh jai, kedua gorakan silek meliputi gorakan olang bobego, borubah tobang bopulun, tupai bogoluik, tenju, tikam, dan diakhiri salam. Sedangkan alat musik yang ditampilkan mengiringi silek tari ialah godang borogong. Serta pakaian yang digunakan baju tolukbulango dengan warna hitam dan memakai selempang, ikat pinggang dan membawa pisau belati sebagai ciri khas masyarakat melayu.
