Abstract

This result be influenced by some factor, among is learning strategy and learning motivation research intended to extent of the effect of :1) Applying of strategy study of question and answer inkuiri in course of higher study result learn history compared to student using conventional study strategy 2) Influence of motivation learn to result learn student history 3) See how is related of applying of strategy study of question and answer inkuiri and motivation learn to result learn student at student history subject. This research type is experiment quasi with model of randomized Control Group Pretes-Postes. Population in this research all class student of XI IPS SMA N 1 Lubuk Alung which enlist at semester 2 school year 2015 / 2016. Sampel taken with chosen Purposive sampling tekhnik so that class of IPS1 with amount of student counted 29 people as experiment class and class of IPS2 with amount of student counted 30 people as control class. At experiment class given by treatment of strategy study of question and answer inkuiri and class control only applying of conventional study strategy. Analysis Tekhnik the used is ANOVA. Type Data is primary data and data of sekunder. Technique data collecting of motivation learn to be conducted by propagating research enquette, while to result of learning in the form of tes in the form of multiplechoice which given is final of study. Result of research indicate that: ( 1) Student using strategy study of higher question and answer inkuiri of result learn him than student which learn to use conventional study strategy which with probability of signifikan (0,001<0,05). ( 2) Student owning higher high motivation of result learn him compared to student owning motivation learn to lower using strategy study of question and answer inkuiri which probability of signifikan (0,005 < 0,05) ( 3) There are related between strategy study of question and answer inkuiri and motivation learn to result learn student history which with probability value (0,165<0,05). Pursuant to result of this research of writer suggest to teachers to be can take care of and also improve motivation learn student one of them by applying study strategy which vary one of them aplying of strategy study of question and answer inkuiri.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze how the implementation of character education and the factors that influence the implementation of character education in SMA INS Kayu Tanam, Padang Pariaman Regency. This type of research is a qualitative research conducted at SMA INS Kayu Tanam with the research informants being the principal, the assembly of teachers and students or students. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research obtained in the field show that: 1) The implementation of character education at SMA INS Kayu Tanam can be said to be good by means of habituation carried out by students while in school and dormitory, 2) The factors that influence the implementation of character education at SMA INS Kayu Tanam can be divided into two groups, namely: a) There are those who are said to be supporting factors which include commitment and good cooperation from all parties in the school environment, both school residents who are within the school environment and parties outside the school such as the surrounding community in the school environment, b. There are what are said to be factors that hinder the implementation of character education in schools including unsupportive links, lack of school funds, lack of intense communication between the school and parents or guardians of students, lack of awareness of students who are rooted in comfort has not been able to adapt to the new environment and the lack of supervision from the school. In this case, the author suggests that the implementation of character education through habituation at SMA INS Kayu Tanam can be further improved so that the expected goals of the school by balancing brain abilities with morals can be realized.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills need to be instilled in the learning process in junior high schools. In this case, a teaching method that can improve students' critical thinking skills, namely the problem based learning method, is needed. The purpose of this study was to examine whether problem based learning method was able to improve the critical thinking skill of students in junior high school in the subjects of Social Sciences. The research method is quantitative. The research instrument used a test at the beginning and end of learning. The data collecting technique used test. The data analysis of this study used a partial test. The results showed that the problem based learning method had an influence on the critical thinking skills of students with t table 3, 902 t count 1.669. Thus, there is an effect of the problem based learning method on the critical thinking skills of junior high school students.

Abstract

The low student achievement in social studies topics motivates this research. This is because the teacher's learning process still applies the conventional learning model. So academic performance in social studies topics is low. The Cooperative Script model is very appropriate to improve student achievement in learning process, as this model can encourage cooperation and student activity in mastering lessons to achieve maximum academic performance. The purpose of this study was to examine the efficacy of the script-cooperative learning model to improve social studies for SMP N students in Rokan Hulu Regency. This type of study is a two-group pretest posttest design research experiment. Population and sample were second-year students of SMP N 12 Tambusai Utara. Data collection method through written testing. Type of statistical analysis was using t-test. Results showed that the cooperative learning model of script is more effective than conventional learning model to improve student learning outcomes. This study focuses on the script cooperative learning model to improve student achievement in junior high school social studies subjects. The results of this study can be used as reference material for further research using different variables. Such as a cooperative script learning model to increase student learning activity.

Abstract

The problem in this study is weather to use the method of every one is teacher here can improved the self- confidentand learning outcome in the educational Indonesia history. The purpose of this reseach is to description weather the every one is teacher here methods can improve self- convidence and student learning outcomes in the educational Indonesian history. The method is descriptive method, the form of reseach is classroom action reseach, the nature of collaborative reseach, data analysis technique using the average calculation. The result showed that the educational hindonesian history using every one is teacher here method can improve students learning outcome. Can be seen 1) The self confident by using the method of every one is teacher here first cycle average 2,22, the self confident by using the method of every one is teacher here second cycle average 3,22. 2) The learning outcome of student in the educational Indonesian history by using the method of every one is teacher here first cycle average 61,90. Second cycle student learning outcomes on average 81,33, learning out comes of student increased by 31,43.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan agar proses pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir analisis dapat memberikan hasil dan prestasi yang baik bagi generasi bangsa dan negara. Proses pembelajaran harus disertai dengan strategi pembelajaran, yang mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir siswa, terutama kemamuan berpikir tingkat tinggi yaitu berpikir kritis analisis dan kreatif. Salah satu kemampuan berpikir yang akan dilatihkan analisis siswa yang meliputu orientasi, merumuskan hipotesis, mengumpulkan data, menguji hipotesis, merumuskan kesimpulan. Semua aspek tersebut memberikan peranan penting dalam proses pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir analisis. Dengan adanya strategi belajar dan pembelajaran diharapkan proses belajar maupun pembelajaran IPS dapat terlaksana dengan baik sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir analisis siswa. Kemampuan berpikir analisis dapat mempermudah individu dalam menyelesaikan permaslahan dan meningkatakan hasil belajar siswa. Seiring perkembangan teknologi dan zaman, hal tersebut juga menjadi motivasi agar pembelajaran IPS lebih bermakna dan terpakai dalam berkehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the theory and practice ofthe Method of Practice Style and Guided DiscoveryStyle and the Basic Technical Skills of BadmintonAthletes. The method used is descriptive analysis fromseveral read literature. The conclusions of this articleare: 1) There is the influence of the Practice Stylemethod on the skills of the basic badminton technique,because based on the hypothesis test obtained tcount(8.97) which is greater than t table (1.75). 2). There isthe influence of the Guided Discovery style style methodon the skills of the basic badminton technique becausebased on the hypothesis test obtained tcount (9.06)which is greater than t table (1.75). 3) There aredifferences in the effect of Practice Style with theGuided discovery style style method on the skills of thebasic badminton technique with the mean difference(average) 2.56 with 2.63. Where the Guided Discoverystyle style method is more effective than Practice Stylein improving the skills of basic badminton techniques.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakngi diberlakukanya kurikulum 2013 edisi revis di semua jenjang pendidikan baik sekolah menengah pertama dan yang lainya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaiamana kendala guru dalam menerapkan kurikulum 2013 edisi revisi di SMP N 8 Rambah Hilir, Populasi penelitian yaitu semua guru di SMP N 8 Rambah Hilir, sampelnya berjumlah 6 orang guru, jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatatif, dengan metode penelitian deskriptif. Hasil dari Penelitian ini adalah implementasi kurikulum 2013 di sekolah menegah pertama 08 Rambah Hilir kurang mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang diharapkan dan memiliki beberapa kendala seperti kurang cukupnya waktu dalam proses pembelajaran, sarana dan prasarana yang kurang memadai, serta system penilaian yangkompleks yamg membutuhkan waktu yang banyak.

Abstract

Sejarah dan kebudayaan lokal perlu diajarkan kepada generasi muda di setiap daerah agar sejarah dan kebudayaan lokal tidak hilang ditelan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dan masuknya budaya asing ke indonesia, sebab sejarah dan budaya merupak ciri khas negara Indonesia yang terdiri dari berbagai macam suku dan budaya yang memiliki keunikan sendiri-sendiri, kebudayaan Indonesia berasal dari kebudayaan daerah dan kebudayaan local masing-masing provinsi di Indonesia. Daerah Rokan Hulu, Provinsi Riau, memiliki multi kultural yang terdiri dari berbagai macam suku, namun di dominasi oleh suku melayu yang merupakan suku asli di provinsi Riau. Dan juga rokan hulu memiliki banyak situs sejarah yang belum banyak diketahui baik oleh masyarakat rokan hulu.untuk itu dilakukan pengabdian masyarakat tentang pelestarian sejarah dan kebudayaan melayu bagi mahasiswa pendidikan IPS, fakultas keguruan dan ilmu pendidikan, universitas pasir pengaraian.
