Abstract

This study aims to determine the marketing system in the auction market and analyze marketing costs, marketing margins, marketing profits, farmer’s share and marketing efficiency at the rubber auction market in Kuantan Mudik District. The sampling method used by farmers is purpusive sampling as many as 23 people and sampling traders using the census method as many as 8 people. The results show that the auction marketing system occurs because of the problems faced by farmers, namely long marketing channels and traders can control the price of bokar due to the low quality of bokar. Farmers participating in the auction market must meet the bokar quality standards set by the Kuantan Singingi Rubber Farmers Association (APKARKUSI) and join a farmer group or Gapoktan. Farmers have limitations in marketing bokar directly to factories, therefore farmers involve marketing agencies. Rubber marketing channels in the auction market are started from farmers-big traders-factories. Farmers who participate in the auction market are subject to a 5% reduction in bokar volume consisting of 3% depreciation, 1% transportation costs and 1% group operating costs. The selling price of bokar in July 2020 received by farmers was Rp7.367,50/kg, total marketing cost was Rp1.316,56/kg, marketing margin was Rp1.596,25/kg, marketing profit was Rp229,69/kg, farmer's share 82,19% and 14,69% marketing efficiency. This auction marketing system is efficiently used by farmers in the bokar marketing process in Kuantan Mudik District, because efficiency below 50% means the lower the percentage of marketing efficiency, the more efficient marketing.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial feasibility and sensitivity to changes in input prices, output prices and the amount of production of cocoa farmers in the Prima Jaya Farmers Group. Prima Jaya Farmers Group is a cocoa farmer group that was formed in 2016. This research uses a case study method, the research data consists of primary data and secondary data. The feasibility data analysis was carried out using three investment criteria, namely Net Presen Value (NPV), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C), Internal Rate of Return (IRR). The results of the study concluded that the business activities carried out by farmers in the Prima Jaya Farmer Group were financially feasible, this was indicated by a positive NPV value of Rp. 105.097.456. The IRR value is higher than the discount rate, which is 26.65%, the Net B/C value is 3,70. The results of the sensitivity analysis based on changes in input prices by 10%, a decrease in the price of cocoa beans by 49,21% and a decrease in the amount of cocoa production by 49,15% indicate that cocoa farming carried out by farmers in the Prima Jaya Farmer Group is still financially feasible.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat terkait kurangnya konsumsi protein adalah kurangnya pengetahuan tentang sumber protein nabati yang harganya lebih terjangkau. Selain itu diperlukan ketrampilan dalam pengolahan makanan nabati ini agar penampakannya lebih menarik untuk keluarga dan sebagai peluang usaha. Pelatihan ini ditujukan untuk: (1) meningkatkan pengetahuan umum masyarakat termasuk ibu rumah tangga terkait kecukupan gizi keluarga khususnya protein nabati dan (2) meningkatkan ketrampilan pengolahan produk sosis tiruan dari bahan baku tempe dan jamur merang. Metode yang digunakan adalah kegiatan pelatihan yang mencakup penyuluhan tentang jenis dan potensi protein nabati termasuk tempe kedelai dan jamur merang serta pelatihan pembuatan sosis analog (tiruan) dengan bahan baku tempe dan jamur merang. Berdasarkan lima indikator (peningkatan pengetahuan, keaktifan, kesesuaian materi pelatihan dengan kebutuhan peserta, adanya inisiasi untuk memulai usaha dan jumlah peserta), kegiatan ini dinilai berhasil dan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan konsumsi protein nabati yang lebih terjangkau masyarakat dalam menunjang ketahanan pangan.

Abstract

Paddy is one of main farming commodity since rice is one of main food in Indonesia. Innovation adoption about paddy farming was meaningful, because there were land conversion from food farming to industrial land or plantation. This study aimed to know about the adoption of farming technical was used by farmers, then aimed to know the efficiency of farming. This study took place in Empat Balai Village Kuok Sub-district Kampar Municipality. The results of this study showed there were differences about faming technical between faming technical with SRI and conventional faming technical that was used for a long time. The differences between SRI paddy farming and conventional farming were the amount of seeds per planted hole and the use of fertilizers. The amount of seeds on SRI method was only 1 seed per planted hole, meanwhile the use of fertilizers was more prioritize on using the organic materials i.e. golden snail, rice water, and brown sugar. On the other hand, there was an increasing of paddy production from SRI method which reached the production of 3.014,51 kg per ha. The increase of production caused the increase of total net income by SRI method Rp.14.953.667,01 per ha. RCR value of this farming was 1,76 per ha, which the value of RCR > 1 then this farming was profitable categorized.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to motivation extrinsic analysis of the farmers in saving money in ukui unit bank rakyat indonesia (BRI). This article discusses about the extrinsic motivation of farmers in saving money in Ukui Unit BRI. This research is using interview method 86 selected sample by questionnaire. The data source used are primary data using a Likert's Summated Rating Scale (SLRs). This research was conducted in BRI Unit Ukui at Jalan Lintas Timur Ukui in Sub-District of Ukui, Pelalawan, and started from March 2015-August 2016. The results showed that the average of the extrinsic motivation of farmers in save in Ukui Unit BRI consisting of a service, product, promotion, interest and location are categorized as "high" with a score of 3.66. With respective scores are 4.06 for service categorized as "high", 3.51 for the products categorized as "high", 3.52 for promotion categorized as "high", 3.53 for interest categorized as "high" and 3.70 for location categorized as "high".

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the aspects of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats facing the agroindustry marketing of Dua Putri tempe chips and formulate marketing strategies Dua Putri tempechips agroindustry by using SWOT analysis. The results showed that internal factors encountered in the marketing of Dua Putri tempeagro-chips in Indragiri Hulu is Strength: choose a label and branded products, entrepreneurs have a long experience, the product is attractive enough for all people, and the products do not use preservatives. Weakness: The product can be easily damaged and destroyed, packaging using a simple wrapper, product marketing has not come out Indragiri Hulu, and promotion is still limited. External factors include: Opportunities: products already well known, a product that can compete with similar products, the market is still wide open, the exhibition and promotion opportunities. Threat; Many competitors of similar products, the market demand fluctuates, and the limitations of market information and for marketing strategies Dua Putritempechips agroindustry is to maintain existing markets and seek new markets including exhibition, the exhibition is there to improve their skills in providing products with flavor worth nutrition, make packaging more attractive in order to reach the marketing of products inside and outside the district, improve the taste and quality and maximize promotion, looking for alternative marketing channels.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSalah satu produk yang berpotensi dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan nilaitambah kelapa adalah nata de coco. Seiring permintaan dan persaingan yangmeningkat, kepuasan konsumen merupakan kunci keberhasilan pemasaran. Penelitianini dilaksanakan melalui studi kasus pada agroindustri nata de coco skala kecil diKabupaten Indragiri Hilir dan survei konsumen, yang bertujuan: 1) Mengidentifikasistrategi pemasaran saat ini, 2) Mengkaji penerimaan konsumen terhadap nata decoco merek Salju, dan 3) Merumuskan strategi pemasaran optimal berdasarkan sikapkonsumen. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan model multi atributFishbein. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap konsumen terhadap nata decoco merek Salju bernilai positif tapi kepercayaan konsumen masih perluditingkatkan. Atribut terpenting adalah harga terjangkau (ei=2,27), tekstur yang kenyal(ei=2,13) dan suhu penyajian yang dingin (ei=1,93) sehingga bauran pemasaranoptimal harus mengutamakan atribut-atribut ini.
