Abstract

Since the outbreak of Covid-19, the popularity of herbal medicines has increased. The use of TOGA is strongly influenced by public knowledge and how to use each herbal medicines for various different diseases. The use of traditional medicine must also consider the appropriate dose/dose and processing method so that the therapeutic objectives are achieved. However, not many people know how to make good traditional medicines, starting from the parts of medicinal plants that are taken to the processing stage. This study aims to see the effect of education on increasing public knowledge of the management of TOGA as a traditional medicine. The study was conducted using a one group pre-post test design. The population of this study was the community in Pajangan village who were members of a group of 36 herbal medicine entrepreneurs. The sample was taken using the consecutive sampling method. toga processing training for 3 weeks. In the fourth week, the gown processing questionnaire was again distributed to the respondents as posttest data. The effect of TOGA processing education on TOGA processing knowledge was analyzed using paired samples t-test. The results showed that education and training on TOGA processing had an impact on people's knowledge about TOGA management. The increase in knowledge measured shows that most of the respondents' knowledge has increased, from low knowledge to high knowledge. with a significance value of 0.003 which means that there is an effect of education and training in increasing public knowledge about traditional medicine processing.

Abstract

Abstrak: Jamu adalah minuman herbal tradisional khas Indonesia yang masih ada sampai zaman modern. Desa Kuluran kecamatan Kalitengah memiliki potensi sumber daya alam yang melimpah dalam penyediaan bahan baku jamu, masyarakat desa biasa memanfaatkan sumber daya alam tersebut untuk membuat jamu sebagai upaya menjaga kesehatan. Permasalahan yang sering dihadapi oleh mitra adalah Kurangnya antusiasme generasi muda dalam konsumsi jamu dan menganggap jamu merupakan minuman yang kurang menarik dan tidak kekinian , adanya inovasi dalam pengolahan produk jamu dinilai sangat penting sehingga kawula muda lebih tertarik untuk mengkonsumsi ramuan tradisonal. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan TOGA dalam inovasi jamu kekinian, sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan perekonomian masyarakat. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahapan metode mulai dari identifikasi kebutuhan masyarakat, khalayak sasaran, rencana bentuk intervensi, Pelatihan pengembangan dan pembuatan inovasi jamu milenial, serta Pendampingan Pembukaan Gerai jamu milenial. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menghasilkan produk inovasi jamu Milenial golden yoghurt, jaman batu dan temu teman. Kemampuan mitra dalam memproduksi jamu kekinian menunjukkan dalam kategori sangat baik (>80%).  Abstract: Jamu is a traditional Indonesian herbal drink that still exists until modern times. Kuluran Village, Kalitengah sub-district has the potential of abundant natural resources in the provision of herbal raw materials, village people usually use these natural resources to maintain health. The problem often faced by partners is the lack of enthusiasm of the younger generation in consuming herbal medicine and considering herbal medicine to be an unattractive and unattractive drink at this time, innovation in the processing of herbal products is considered very important so that young people are more interested in consuming traditional herbs. The purpose of this service is to optimize the use of TOGA in today's herbal innovations, so as to increase productivity and the community's economy. This community service is carried out in several stages, starting from knowing the needs of the community, target audiences, form of intervention plans, training on the development and manufacture of millennial herbal medicine innovations, as well as mentoring for the opening of millennial herbal medicine outlets. This community service resulted in innovative products of herbal medicine Millennial golden yogurt, stone age and friends gathering. The partner's ability to produce herbal medicine is currently in the very good category (>80%).

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TBC) is one of the deadliest infectious diseases in the world. Adherence to TB therapy is critical in achieving successful treatment outcomes, controlling transmission, and preventing the development of TB drug resistance. Compliance with taking antituberculosis drugs is closely related to the patient's quality of life, but the number of cases of recurrence should be a source of thought whether the patient's adherence to taking the drug will have a significant impact on the patient's quality of life. This study aims to analyze the relationship between medication adherence and the quality of life of tuberculosis patients in Lamongan. The research design is a descriptive collaborative with a cross-sectional approach. Sampling by purposive sampling with a total sample of 60 respondents. Compliance with taking medication was obtained through the MARS-5 questionnaire and quality of life using the SGRQ questionnaire. The data obtained were then analyzed with the Chi-Square test. The results showed that 70.0% of respondents had high medication adherence, and 60.0% experienced a good quality of life category. The results of the Chi-Square test showed that there was a relationship between medication adherence and the quality of life of tuberculosis patients at the Lamongan District Health Center. The more obedient the patient is in taking the drug, the better the quality of life.
