Abstract

Since the outbreak of Covid-19, the popularity of herbal medicines has increased. The use of TOGA is strongly influenced by public knowledge and how to use each herbal medicines for various different diseases. The use of traditional medicine must also consider the appropriate dose/dose and processing method so that the therapeutic objectives are achieved. However, not many people know how to make good traditional medicines, starting from the parts of medicinal plants that are taken to the processing stage. This study aims to see the effect of education on increasing public knowledge of the management of TOGA as a traditional medicine. The study was conducted using a one group pre-post test design. The population of this study was the community in Pajangan village who were members of a group of 36 herbal medicine entrepreneurs. The sample was taken using the consecutive sampling method. toga processing training for 3 weeks. In the fourth week, the gown processing questionnaire was again distributed to the respondents as posttest data. The effect of TOGA processing education on TOGA processing knowledge was analyzed using paired samples t-test. The results showed that education and training on TOGA processing had an impact on people's knowledge about TOGA management. The increase in knowledge measured shows that most of the respondents' knowledge has increased, from low knowledge to high knowledge. with a significance value of 0.003 which means that there is an effect of education and training in increasing public knowledge about traditional medicine processing.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Introduction: Students have many tasks, especially in nursing students but not a few students who often delay doing tasks. This is called the habit of academic procrastination. An important factor or triggers the habit of academic procrastination, one of which is time management. This research aims to analyze the relationship of time management with academic procrastination habits in nursing students. Method: This study uses analytic correlation design. The sample was taken with a simple random sampling technique that is as many as 110 respondents. Data collected from respondents using questionnaire sheets, then tested using spearman rho test. Results: The results showed that 77 students (70%) had adequate time management. Student prokrastization is in the moderate range, which is 72 students (65.5%). Spearman Rho test obtained a value of P = 0.000, so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between time management and the academic procrastination habits of nursing students. Conclusions: A good timing management such as preparing to make a list of everything that will be done which is arranged according to their level of importance, arrange activities to be carried out so that they are self-disciplined, determine task priorities according to their vital level of importance, arrange what is being done today and tomorrow will have an impact on the low habit of academic procrastination. Student can practice to do time management well, so that students can achieve good academic goals with many extracurricular activities

Abstract

Lavender oil and lime oil contain linalool which has a relaxing effect. This oil has potential as a fragrance in antiaging body lotion products containing Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) in the Nanostructured Lipid Carriers System (NLC). This study aimed to analyzed the physical characteristics and consumer preference level for anti aging body lotion containing NLC-CoQ10. NLC-CoQ10 was prepared using the High Shear Homogenization method. For F1 (Formula 1), NLC-CoQ10 is mixed with a gel base and lavender oil. For F2 (Formula 2), the type of essential oil added is lime oil. These two forms when compared with F0 (Formula 0 = formula without essential oils). The physical properties observed included organoleptic, pH, homogeneity, spreadability, and viscosity. Organoleptic test and homogeneity were analyzed descriptively. While the pH, spreadability, and viscosity were analyzed using One Way Anova. In the preference level test, the aspect that is assessed is aroma. This test was analyzed statistically using the Univariate method. Based on the physical characteristic test, it is known that the three formulas have the same color, consistency, and homogeneity. The difference between the three formulas lies in their aroma. F0 is unscented; F1 has a lavender scent; F2 has a lime scent. The viscosity of the three formulas is also different but does not affect the spreadability value. Based on the aroma preference level test, it is known that F2 has the highest value. The type of essential oil affects the aroma and level of preference of the panelists. The most preferred formula is a formula containing lime oil.
