Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui terdapat tidaknya Efektifitas Model Pembelajaran Direct Instruction Terhadap Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematika Siswa Pada Materi Bilangan Pecahan Kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah-25 Rantauprapat Tahun Pembelajaran 2017/2018 dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Efektifitas Model Pembelajaran Direct Instruction Terhadap Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematika Siswa Pada Materi Bilangan Pecahan Kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah-25 Rantauprapat Tahun Pembelajaran 2017/2018. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi-eksperimen (quasi experiment) dengan rancangan pretest-postest dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah 25 Rantauprapat yang terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu kelas VII-A sebanyak 30 siswa dan VII-B sebanyak 31 siswa dengan jumlah seluruh populasi adalah 61 siswa. Sampel penelitian diambil kelas VII-B yang berjumlah 31 siswa, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling (sampling pertimbangan). Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes pemahaman konsep dalam bentuk essay sebanyak 5 soal dan angket respon siswa sebanyak 7 pernyataan. Data rata-rata pre-test kelas eksperimen adalah 9,13 dengan standar deviasi sebesar 1,43. Setelah diberikan perlakuan diperoleh data rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen sebesar 16,00 dengan standar deviasi sebesar 1,44 dan mengalami persentasi kenaikan sebesar 75,25%. Pada penelitian ini teknik yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah dengan menggunakan skala likert dan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil angket respon siswa terhadap model Direct Instruction terhadap diperoleh rata-rata  persentasi sebesar 84,60% yang artinya sangat suka. Pada hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t diperoleh nilai sig < taraf sig yaitu 0,0000 < 0,05 pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dan dk = 29. Dengan demikian Ha diterima yang berarti terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Direct Instruction terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas VII-B SMP Muhammadiyah-25 Rantauprapat Tahun Pembelajaran 2017/2018.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the learning cell learning model on the mathematical communication skills of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Torgamba. This research includes quantitative research. The population in this study amounted to 160 students. The sample in this study was class VIII-A and VIII-B, each with 32 students. The sampling technique used in this research is cluster random sampling, which is the taking of sample members from the population by randomizing classes. The results of this study indicate that the sig value in the regression analysis is 0,000. This value is less than 0.05 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The decision is that there is an effect of the learning cell learning model on the mathematical communication skills of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Torgamba. The effect of the learning cell learning model on the mathematical communication skills of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Torgamba was 72.1%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in students' mathematical communication skills using Expository and Inquiry Learning Strategies in Pythagorean theorem in MTs. Muallimin Aek Raso for the 2019/2020 academic year. The population in this study were all students of class VIII MTs Muallimin Aek Raso which consisted of 2 classes, namely class VIII1 and VIII 2. The sample in this research was using cluster random sampling, taken 2 classes, namely class VIII1 with a total of 20 students using a strategy. Expository learning and for class VIII2 consisted of 20 students using inquiry learning strategies. The instrument in this study consisted of a description test of 10 questions which were first tried out in another class whose aim was to see the quality of the test in the form of validity, reliability and difficulty level of the questions. From the data analysis, an average count of 84.15 was obtained with a standard deviation of 7.7 in class VIII1 while the average count was 75.45 with a standard deviation of 6.5 in class VIII2. From the Hypothesis Test Using the Anova Test at Level 5 % obtained tcount ¬ 1.75 and t table ¬ 0.444 Ho is rejected and Ha dite rima. Thus, the conclusion is that there are differences in students' mathematical communication skills using Expository and Inquiry Learning Strategies in the Pythagorean theorem in MTs. Muallimin Aek Raso for the 2019/2020 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze conceptual understanding and increase student interest in learning by using assignment techniques in the form of material and SPLDV questions and also an assessment questionnaire. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects who were the research targets were class VIII in MASS PP IRSYADUL ISLAMAH totaling 35 students. The research instrument used was an assignment questionnaire and an interest in learning outcomes. The material is used to provide understanding of the assignment and see the students' interest in learning the assessment subject. Seeing the interest in learning in student assignment techniques in solving problems with SPDLV Mathematics learning questions, students were given an assessment questionnaire on how the teacher applied Mathematics learning. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in student interest in learning, The increase in research resulted in 11 highest numbers of learning interest, 21 moderate numbers and 3 were in the lowest numbers in student interest in learning. From the results of this study the researchers succeeded in suppressing the lowest number and increasing the highest number of students' understanding and interest in solving problems in learning mathematics. The results of the student's interest in learning obtained an increase in interest in learning by 6.58% in MASS PP IRSYADUL ISLAMAH.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine students' mathematical connection abilities in the application of problem-based learning models and to determine the effect of student learning using problem-based learning models at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Utara. The research method used is quasi-experimental research, The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Utara for the Academic Year 2021/2022 as many as 288 people, then from 8 classes, two classes were selected as samples, namely class VIII-2 which consisted of 36 students who were taught by problem-based learning model, class VIII-5 consisted of 36 students who were taught by conventional learning model.The analytical technique used is descriptive analysis to describe student activities, teacher's ability to manage learning, and student response processes. The results of the analysis of the Gain data for the problem-based learning model class with the conventional model class using the t-test obtained the value of tcount= 8,54 from the distribution list t for  = 0,05, and dk = n1 – n2 – 2 or dk = 70 obtained ttable= 1,959. By comparing between ttable and tcount obtained tcount > ttable then Ha is accepted. Thus, the results of this study can be stated that there is an effect of problem-based learning models on increasing students' mathematical connection abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the learning outcomes of students who are taught with the Problem Based Instruction learning model on reasoning abilities in learning mathematics are better than the learning outcomes of students who are taught without the Problem Based Instruction learning model on the subject of the Pythagorean Theorem. The population of this study were all grade IX students of SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Utara. The research sample was taken by random sampling as many as two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The experimental class was treated with the Problem Based Instruction learning model for class IX-1, amounting to thirty-two, while the control class was taught using the Conventional model for class IX-3, amounting to thirty-two.The data used are student learning outcomes collected using tests that have been tested for validity, reliability, level of difficulty and differentiating power. The data obtained were analyzed by one-sided t-test after being tested for normality and homogeneity. From the research, the average pretest value for the experimental class was 44.22 and the control was 43.91, while the average post-test value for the experimental class was 79.53 and the control was 65.00. There are pretest and posttest data for each class, then the gain is calculated, by first testing the normality and homogeneity. From the calculation of the average gain, an increase in student learning outcomes was obtained. The results of the calculation on the t-test based on the students' mathematical reasoning ability obtained thit = 8.26 and ttable = 1.699 at the significance a= 0.05 with dk = 62. These data indicate reasoning ability students' mathematics with the PBI learning model is better than the conventional learning model.This means that tcount > ttable, thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students who are treated with Problem Based Instruction learning model on reasoning abilities in mathematics learning are better than learning with conventional models on the subject of the Pythagorean Theorem.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning media and teacher supervision on student achievement in class X SMA Kemala Bhayangkari. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method with the class action method. The population in this study were all students of SMAS BHAYANGKARI 2 RANTAUPRAPAT class X-IIS-1 and X-MIA-1, totaling 50 students divided into two classes, namely class control and experimental class. The sampling technique used is probability sampling using cluster sampling (area sampling). The instrument and data collection technique used in this study is a multiple-choice test to measure student achievement. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative with descriptive statistics such as descriptive analysis, normality test, paired sample t-test, independent sample t-test on the results of pre-test and post-test then presented in the form of tables and graphs. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the average value of student learning outcomes before and after the application of learning media and teacher supervision on student achievement is 42.56 and 50.56% to 79.16% and 71.44%, respectively. The difference in student learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class is 15.72% and the effect of learning media and teacher supervision on the learning achievement of class X students at SMA Kemala Bhayangkari is 36.6% and the ratio of improvement between the experimental class and the control class is 7.72%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika pada pokok bahasan bangun ruang sisi lengkung siswa kelas IX-4 SMP Negeri 3 Kualuh Selatan dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Example Non Example. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan secara kolaboratif. Partisipan adalah siswa kelas IX-4 SMP Negeri 3 Kualuh Selatan, sebanyak 35 siswa. Tindakan dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Example Non Example, observasi terhadap siswa dan guru, tes tertulis, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa materi bangun ruang sisi lengkung dikelas IX-4 SMP N 3 Kualuh Selatan yang terbukti adanya peningkatan hasil penelitian pada setiap siklusnya. Peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa dimana pada pra siklus dengan rata – rata kelas 53,21, persentase ketuntasan 42,85% mengalami kenaikan pada siklus I dengan rata – rata kelas 80.54, persentase ketuntasan 80.3% dan pada siklus II dengan rata- rata kelas 86,11 persentase ketuntasan 86%. Hasil tersebut juga menunjukkan bahwa penelitian tindakan kelas ini mencapai indikator ketuntasan yang ditentukan yaitu ketuntasan yaitu ketuntasan diatas 85%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dan aktivitas siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran scramble di kelas VIII SMP Swasta Anak Bangsa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan berjumlah 45 orang. Populasi yang juga merupakan sampel pada penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas yakni kelas eksperimen VIII-A yang berjumlah 25 orang dan kelas eksperimen VIII-B yang berjumlah 20orang.Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes, angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil nilai tes analisis statistik menunjukan bahwa nilai Sig.(2-tailed) < dari 0,05 sehingga terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan antara nilai berfikir kreatif kelas eksperimen dan kelas control. Dari lembar angket dapat dilihat adanya peningkatan aktivitas siswa di kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran scramble, berarati hasil analisis berada pada daerah Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dengan diterimanya Ha berarti peningkatan aktifitas di kelas eskperimen melalui model scramble lebih tinggi dari pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematika siswa melalui model pembelajaran konvensional di kelas VIII SMP Swasta Anak Bangsa.

Abstract

Penelitia Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran handbook materi lingkaran berbasis kontekstual terhadap minat dan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Swasta Anak Bangsa di Desa Sumber Sari. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan berjumlah 45 orang. Populasi yang juga merupakan sampel pada penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas yakni kelas eksperimen VIII-A yang berjumlah 25 orang dan kelas eksperimen VIII-B yang berjumlah 20orang. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) penggunaan media pembelajaran handbook materi lingkaran berbasis kontekstual berpengaruh terhadap minat dan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Swasta Anak Bangsa. Hal ini dibuktikan dari perolehan skor angket dan tes dengan analisis regresi. Dimana analisis regresi pada nilai angket sebesar 0,000 dan pada nilai tes sebesar 0,003 sehingga diperoleh hasil sig. < 0,05 yang menyatakan bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak; (2) Besar pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran handbook materi lingkaran berbasis kontekstual terhadap minat dan hasil belajar dapat diketahui dari model summary analisis regresi yakni dengan melihat nilai R square. Adapun pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran handbook materi lingkaran berbasis kontekstual terhadap minat belajar sebesar 27,1 %, sedangkan terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 19%.
