Abstract

The implant is a contraceptive device containing levonorgetrel which is wrapped in a silastic silicone capsule and placed under the skin. Types of Case Study Research. The aim of this research is to carry out midwifery care with Implant Installation Acceptors at the Pallangga Community Health Center, Gowa Regency using a Midwifery Care approach according to the midwife's competence and authority. This research method uses Varney's seven-step method which includes identification of basic data, formulating a diagnosis/actual problem, formulating a diagnosis/problem, immediate action/collaboration, implementation intervention, and evaluation of midwifery care for KB implant acceptors and documentation. The result is that the KB implant inhibits the release of eggs and ovaries by releasing progesterone slowly in the mother's body. Progesterone thickens the mucus and makes it difficult for the uterus to accept a fertilized egg. All care is documented with the results of midwifery care in the form of SOAP.

Abstract

In Islamic legal analysis regarding the use of contraception, the majority of ulama allow the use of contraceptives as long as they are not installed permanently, and for permanent contraceptives (vasectomies / tubectomies) the majority of ulama prohibit it. Sexual satisfaction is a form of sexual closeness felt by husband and wife couples in the interpersonal area, namely in the quality of sexual communication, attitudes towards sexual relations and balance in sexual relations. This research design uses a cross sectional study design which aims to analyze the comparative level of sexual satisfaction of women who accept tubectomy and hormonal contraception. The results of this study show that knowledge is related to the level of sexual satisfaction in women with tubectomy acceptors, while there are 2 variables that are related to the level of sexual satisfaction in women with hormonal contraception, namely knowledge with and duration of use.

Abstract

Asphyxia neonatorum is a condition where a newborn baby does not breathe spontaneously and regularly after birth. Asphyxia can occur during pregnancy and childbirth. Asphyxia in newborns is a high risk because they have a greater chance of experiencing the baby's death or becoming seriously ill during the neonatal period. The aim of this research is to determine the description of the incidence of asphyxia based on risk factors for mothers, babies and birth factors at the Community Health Center. This research method was carried out descriptively using secondary data at the Community Health Center to find out the general picture of the incidence of asphyxia in newborns with research variables which include risk factors for mother, baby and childbirth. The results show that factors related to the incidence of asphyxia in community health centers are influenced by risk factors for mother, baby and childbirth.

Abstract

Oxytocin massage is also a solution to overcome irregular breast milk production. This massage is performed along the spine (vertebrae) to the V and VI costae bones to stimulate the hormones prolactin and oxytocin after giving birth. The purpose of this study was to determine the role, benefits and functions of the combination of breast care and oxytocin massage on breast milk production in postpartum mothers and to facilitate breast milk production. Quasi-experimental research method, with posttest-only control design. By using consecutive sampling technique. Interventions were given from the first day to the third day postpartum, then observations were carried out. Data normality test using the Shapiro-Wilk test, data analysis using the independent t-test. The results of the study obtained a significance value with the average number of combination groups and control groups. The conclusion of this study is that the combination of breast care and oxytocin massage is effective for breast milk production in postpartum mothers. When massage is performed on the spine, it can cause a neurogenic reflex that accelerates the work of the parasympathetic nerves to convey commands to the back of the brain. As a result of the stimulatory signal, the potential action process of oxytocin is released into the systemic blood from the posterior pituitary. In the bloodstream, oxytocin is delivered to the myoepithelial cells of the alveoli and uterus so that oxytocin will stimulate these cells which cause the alveolar sacs to be compressed and the ducts to shorten and widen.

Abstract

Deep breathing relaxation therapy is a breathing in the abdomen with a slow frequency and slowly, rhythmically, and comfortably by closing the eyes while breathing. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of deep breathing relaxation techniques on the intensity of pain in mothers in labor at the Midwife Practice. Pre-experimental design method. The population in this study were mothers giving birth at the Midwife Practice. Purposive sampling technique. The analysis used was univariate and bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study showed that before the deep breathing relaxation technique was carried out, there were 73.3% who had moderate pain and 26.7% who had severe pain and after the deep breathing relaxation technique was carried out, there was mild pain 80%. % and moderate pain 20%. The results showed that there was an influence of deep breathing relaxation techniques on the intensity of pain in mothers giving birth, which was seen from the results of the post-test, the level of labor pain decreased. The conclusion of the study was that there was an influence of deep breathing relaxation techniques on the intensity of pain in mothers giving birth at the Midwife Practice. It is expected that midwives will play an active role in providing the use of deep breathing relaxation methods during labor to reduce the level of labor pain so as to improve services for patients.
