Abstract

Pagar Alam City is one of the areas located in South Sumatra Province, coinciding at the foot of the mountains, so it has superior commodities in the form of coffee and tea producers. In addition, there are other commodities consisting of cultivating vegetables and fruits. This commodity is a source of livelihood for the majority of the population as farmers. Along with the variety of natural products available, it is felt that they have not fully developed optimally, especially vegetables, fruits and of course human resources (HR). In addition, there are still lands that have not been utilized optimally as agropolitan areas. This study aims to develop a strategy for agricultural and plantation commodities and to take advantage of food potentials, existing infrastructure and facilities. The methods used are analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the first priority results from fruits, vegetables and plantations 1) Strategies to take advantage of strengths and opportunities, namely improving small and medium enterprises, developing technology, infrastructure, human resources. 2) Strategies to take advantage of weaknesses and opportunities, namely providing venture capital / subsidies to farmers and cooperation between parties. 3) Strategies to take advantage of strengths in facing challenges, namely household product management, institutional formation in the form of cooperatives for business progress, 4) strategies to take advantage of weaknesses and challenges, namely socialization between stakeholders for human resource advancement in order to form creativity and marketing innovation in anticipation of business competition.  Keywords: Superior commodities, Agropolitan, Strategy, AHP, SWOT

Abstract

Pendidikan lingkungan hidup yang diberikan sejak dini di sekolah dasar merupakan upaya penting yang dapat dilakukan untuk menanamkan perilaku peduli lingkungan terhadap anak. Para siswa diharapkan menjadi agen perubahan yang dapat mempromosikan upaya konservasi lingkungan di sekolah, keluarga dan masyarakat. Akan tetapi, banyak kendala dan hambatan yang menyebabkan pendidikan lingkungan hidup ini tidak dapat diikuti oleh semua sekolah, antara lain: belum adanya komitmen dari pemerintah daerah maupun pihak sekolah untuk mewajibkan penerapan pendidikan lingkungan ke dalam perda, maupun pada kebijakan dan kurikulum sekolah. Selain itu, pengunaan metode dan media yang kurang aplikatif dan inovatif menyebabkan siswa tidak dapat memahami materi secara utuh. Melalui metode creative learning, kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku siswa dalam berperilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) dan kesadaran dalam pengelolaan lingkungan. Kegiatan yang dilakukan antara lain memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan PHBS dan konservasi lingkungan kepada seluruh elemen sekolah agar dapat berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan pelestarian lingkungan. Menggunakan metode kreatif berbasis permainan  diharapkan dapat memudahkan siswa memahami materi secara komprehensif dan menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

The need for pedestrian fasilities in the area of Jalan Balayudha Palembang Muhammadiyah School is very important to be fasilitated, considering the intensity of the number of pedestrian is dominated by some students from various levels,including the surrounding community to work by utilizing the raad as a means of pedestrian. The current condition of pedestrian facilities is not technically adequate, besides that the shoulder of the road is used for selling and parking vehicles. To improve service, safety and comfort for pedestrians in the Muhammadiyah School area  in order to improve the function oh the sidewalk as a pedestrian facility. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research where the community is expected to assess the condition of the pedestrian path. That the impact of the assessment can be used as a basis for planning in the provision of adequate pedestrian facilities. The purpose of the study was to determine the level of influence of respondents as road users on the condition of pedestrian facilities and to facilities the need for pedestrian facilities through pedestrian planning. This research method uses a quantitative approach by developing data from the field through interviews and questionnaires. The analysis process uses regression which aims to measure the effect of the independen variabel on the dependent variable. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that the factor of physical quality, feasibility, security, comfort, regualations and environmental knowledge have a very strong role to facilitate the need for pedestrian facilities through the pedestrian development plan at the Muhammadiyah Balayuda School Palembang with an influence level of 0.92 percent (92%).

Abstract

Walaupun berlokasi dekat dengan pusat pemerintahan di Kabupaten Musi Rawas, Desa Suro merupakan wilayah dengan tingkat kesejahteraan yang relatif rendah. Rendahnya tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat Desa Suro mengkonfirmasi isu kemiskinan yang terjadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor-faktor penyebab kemiskinan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan secara langsung di lokasi penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan beberapa aspek yang menyebabkan kemiskinan, yaitu aspek ekonomi, aspek sosial, aspek fisik lingkungan dan aspek regulasi. Masing-masing aspek memiliki implikasi yang berbeda terhadap tingkat kemiskinan, namun kesemuanya saling terhubung.

Abstract

Abstrak Desa Alai yang terletak di Kecamatan Lembak Kabupaten Muara Enim merupakan salah satu desa yang berada di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dengan potensi UMKM produk tahu dan singkong. Namun, UMKM di Desa Alai belum berkembang dan UMKM yang ada masih terbatas dengan kemasan yang kurang memberikan identitas produk. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan nilai jual produk potensial Desa Alai, Sumatera Selatan melalui labeling, packaging, dan branding. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini dilaksanakan selama dua hari dengan jumlah peserta 32 orang yang merupakan pelaku UMKM tahu dan petani singkong di Desa Alai. Hasil pelaksanaan Kegiatan menunjukkan 85% peserta merasa pelatihan sangat bermanfaat, mudah dipahami, dan memberikan wawasan baru. Kegiatan ini meningkatkan kesadaran bagi peserta tentang pentingnya pemasaran visual dalam persaingan pasar. pemberdayaan pelaku UMKM tahu dan petani singkong di Desa Alai juga dapat mengoptimalkan pemasaran produk mereka agar dapat bersaing di pasar yang lebih luas. Kata kunci: label; kemasan; merek; nilai jual. Abstract  Alai Village, located in Lembak District, Muara Enim Regency, is one of the villages in South Sumatra Alai Village, located in Lembak District, Muara Enim Regency, is one of the villages in South Sumatra Province with the potential for tofu and cassava product MSMEs. However, MSMEs in Alai Village have not developed and existing MSMEs are still limited with packaging that does not provide product identity. This socialization activity aims to increase the selling value of potential products in Alai Village, South Sumatra through labeling, packaging, and branding. The method of activity implementation used is the lecture method which consists of three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. This socialization activity was carried out for two days with 32 participants who were tofu MSME players and cassava farmers in Alai Village. The results of the activity showed that 85% of participants felt that the training was very useful, easy to understand, and provided new insights. This activity increases awareness about the importance of visual marketing in market competition. empowerment of tofu MSME players and cassava farmers in Alai Village can also optimize the marketing of their products in order to compete in a wider market. Keywords: labeling; packaging; branding; selling value.

Abstract

Abstrak Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) dalam upaya pengolahan singkong yang merupakan salah satu komoditas pertanian utama Desa Alai Kecamatan Lembak Kabupaten Muara Enim. Rendahnya pengetahuan teknologi menyebabkan pengolahan singkong yang telah dilakukan belum optimal, dimana sebagian besar singkong dijual dalam bentuk mentah dan dalam bentuk gaplek serta tapioka. Program ini bertujuan membentuk kelompok usaha mandiri dalam pengembangan olahan singkong untuk meningkatkan nilai ekonomi singkong melalui diversifikasi produk olahan berupa stik singkong menggunakan metode pendekatan yang dipakai dalam PKM yaitu metode pendekatan partisipasi kelompok atau Partisipatory Rural Apprasial (PRA), melibatkan kelompok mitra dalam kegiatan meliputi: penyuluhan, pelatihan, praktek langsung, dan pendampingan. Hasil dari program ini yaitu peningkatan pengetahuan mitra dalam mengolah singkong menjadi stik singkong, adanya peningkatan analisis trend pasar serta diharapkan adanya peningkatan pendapatan dari penjualan produk stik singkong. Keberlanjutan dari program ini mitra mampu meningkatkan kemampuan manajemen dan pemasaran serta diharapkan dapat mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal dan membuka peluang kerja baru di Desa Alai. Kata kunci: diversifikasi, pengolahan, singkong Abstract Community Service (PKM) in the process of processing cassava which is one of the main agricultural commodities of Alai Village, Lembak District, Muara Enim Regency. The low level of technological knowledge causes the cassava processing that has been carried out to be suboptimal, where most of the cassava is sold in raw form and in the form of gaplek and tapioca. This program aims to form an independent business group in the development of cassava processing to increase the economic value of cassava through diversification of processed products in the form of cassava sticks using the approach method used in PKM, namely the group participation approach method or Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), involving partner groups in activities including: counseling, training, direct practice, and mentoring. The results of this program are an increase in partner knowledge in processing cassava into cassava sticks, an increase in market trend analysis and an increase in income from the sale of cassava stick products. The sustainability of this program, partners are able to improve management and marketing skills and are expected to encourage local economic growth and open up new job opportunities in Alai Village. Keywords: diversification, processing, cassava
