Abstract

The 2010 Manila Amendment Standard of Training Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) regulation is to create and develop a system that can support the fitness of duty officers on duty. The officer's fitness is determined by the value of the heart rate at the start of watch duty. For that we need a system that can measure the heart rate quickly and precisely. This system must work effectively and accurately inform each officer's measurements. So this research was carried out with the aim of building an effective heart rate measurement. This system is supported by the Arduino Nano Microcontroller and an alarm system that provides information on the fitness of the officers. The method used is Research and Development which refers to ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The result of this research is a heart rate measuring product that works very effectively. The required input consists of a grove-ear clip heart rate sensor as a heart rate detector in the form of a pulse signal and a vibrating DC motor with a buzzer as an alarm that generates a shock for the user of the device. The indications for this tool are using Bradycardia, Normal and Tachycardia heart conditions. So that this research is very much needed in supporting the testing of the fitness of tasks in carrying out the machine guard service properly and guaranteed.

Abstract

Beban Daya Listrik merupakan semua beban yang ditanggung pembangkit listrik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk menganalisis pengaruh kondisi operasional kapal terhadap beban daya listrik di kapal, (2) untuk menganalisis pengaruh operasi generator terhadap beban daya listrik di kapal, (3) untuk menganalisis pengaruh kondisi operasional kapal dan operasi generator terhadap beban daya listrik di kapalMetode penelitian ini  penulis menggunakan metode kuantitatif mengenai pengaruh kondisi operasional kapal dan operasi generator terhadap beban daya listrik. Dengan menggunakan sofeware program aplikasi SPSS sebagai alat untuk mengolah data. SPSS adalah teknik analisa data untuk menganalisa korelasi dan pengaruh antara variabel bebas dan variabel terikat. Sumber data yang akan dianalisis dari data kapal tentang beban daya listrik.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan penulis di kapal adalah. (1) X1 berpengaruh (negative) terhadap Y, dengan koefisien determinan R squere X1 (kondisi operasional kapal) terhadap Y (beban daya listrik) ada sebesar 4,2 % (2) X2 berpengaruh (positive) terhadap Y, dengan koefisien determinan R squere X2 (operasi generator) terhadap Y (beban daya listrik) ada sebesar 1,1 % (3) X1 dan X2 berpengaruh (positive) terhadap Y, dengan koefisien determinan R squere X1 dan X2 terhadap Y ada sebesar 4,4%.

Abstract

Inert Gas System is a machine that functions as a security system to prevent explosions on tankers. Explosion prevention is carried out by introducing inert gas into the cargo tank with the aim of reducing oxygen levels in the cargo tank atmosphere so as to prevent the formation of a flammable gas mixture. Inert gas contains very little oxygen, namely 1-2% by volume. The device that produces the inert gas is called the Inert Gas Generator (IGG). The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that cause high oxygen content contained in the inert gas and the efforts made related to the factors mentioned so that the inert gas generator can work optimally. The research method used by the author is descriptive qualitative with Fishbone data analysis techniques and SWOT analysis. The results of the study stated that the factors causing oxygen content of more than 3% were dirty fuel filter, too much combustion air supply, oxygen analyzer that was rarely calibrated, flow sampling was too large, fuel quality was not good, lack of crew knowledge. to PMS (Plan Maintenance System) IGG. Efforts have been made to clean the fuel pump filter, close the air capacity valve a little, calibrate the oxygen analyzer according to the PMS schedule, reduce the sampling valve flow into the oxygen analyzer, add fuel oil treatment (additives) to the fuel, pay attention to the IGG maintenance schedule according to PMS, restore the maintenance implementation system based on the PMS inert gas generator schedule.

Abstract

ABSTRACTSteam boiler is a closed vessel that can produce hot steam with the pressure of more thanone atmosphere by heating the water within it. Water in the process greatly affect thecondition of the kettle, so the quality must always be maintained. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The dataanalysis technique used SWOT method to analyze the factors causing the decreasing of waterquality of boiler and the effort made to overcome these factors by identifying the strengths,weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that water boiler degradation iscaused by: 1) Distilled water not yet widely available on board is caused by leakage ofevaporator pipe on FWG and mechanical seal damage at distillation pump. 2) Freshwaterconditions from land are not eligible for boiler water. To overcome these factors, it isnecessary to check to determine which pipe is leaking, patching the leaking pipe using acopper plug, opening and closing the inlet valve and evaporator outlet slowly to avoidthermal shock, mechanical seal replacement of the distillation pump, and testing the boilerwater , addition of chemical dosing and water boiler blowdown.

Abstract

Tempat pelelangan ikan yang selanjutnya disebut dengan TPI merupakan tempat bagi nelayan untuk melakukan aktivitas perdagangan hasil tangkapan ikan. Tempat pelelangan ikan perlu didukung sarana dan prasarana yang memadai agar aktivitas perdagangan dapat berjalan dengan lancar. Kondisi sarana dan prasarana yang tidak memadai di TPI Jongor, Kota Tegal disebabkan oleh kurang optimalnya kondisi penerangan yang memunculkan isu permasalahan terhadap nilai sosial dan pengembangan aspek ekonomi di lingkungan masyarakat. Seiring dengan kebijakan pemerintah untuk mendorong penggunaan energi baru dan terbarukan, dihadirkan inovasi untuk menjawab tantangan dari permasalahan di TPI Jongor, Kota Tegal tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini dianalisis potensi panel surya sebagai sumber daya energi terbarukan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Maret sampai dengan Juli 2022. Penelitian ini menggabungkan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk mengetahui dampak terhadap pengembangan aspek ekonomi dan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mengetahui dampak pada nilai sosial. Data dikumpulkan dari data primer dan sekunder yang diolah berdasarkan pengamatan langsung di lapangan dengan penggunaan metode anuitas dan Likert. Responden adalah masyarakat sekitar TPI Jongor yang berjumlah 30 orang. Selanjutnya, dalam penelitian dihadirkan produk skema perkreditan sebagai alternatif pengembangan energi terbarukan untuk masyarakat sekitar dari koperasi unit desa yang merupakan lembaga untuk memberikan sarana dan prasarana pertumbuhan nilai ekonomi untuk lingkungan sekitar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perubahan faktor yang mendukung peningkatan penilaian ekonomi dan perubahan nilai sosial serta hasil penelitian yang menghadirkan produk layanan baru yang diajukan kepada koperasi unit desa untuk dapat diterapkan pada masyarakat sekitar atau anggotanya. Title: Study of The Utilization of Renewable Energy Resources in Fish Auction Market As Business Development of  Village Cooperative and Community Social ValuesFish Auction Houses (TPI) is a means for the trading activities of fishermen in selling their fish catches. TPI needs to be supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure so that trading activities can run smoothly. The condition of inadequate facilities and infrastructure in TPI Jongor Tegal City due to the suboptimal lighting conditions raises the issue of problems with social value and development of economic aspect in the community. Along with the government’s policy to encourage the use of new and renewable energy, it presents innovations to answer the challenges of the problems in the Jongor TPI in Tegal City. The study looked at the use of technology to the utilization of renewable energy resources. The study was conducted from April to August 2022. The research uses a combined type of research with a quantitative approach to determine the impact on development of economics aspect and a qualitative approach to determine the impact on social value. The data were collected from primary and secondary data processed based on direct observations in the field and the use of annuity and likert methods. In the study, respondents from the community around TPI Jongor were observed as many as 35 respondentsFurthermore, the research presents credit scheme products as an alternative to the development of renewable energy for the surrounding community from the Village Unit Cooperative which is an institution to provide facilities and infrastructure for the growth of economic value for the surrounding environment. The results of the study showed changes in factors that supported the improvement of economic assessments and changes in social values and the results of the study presented new service products submitted to the village Unit cooperative to be applied to the surrounding community or its members.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is review the cost of education on the ability to pay and assessment of student satisfaction in uni-versities, especially in the maritime field. Research is outlined in the description taken data from several information retrieval techniques, further literature studies are used as support for nar-rative development. The results illustrate students provide a good assessment of the cost of education and the quality of services held but the concept of budgeting mechanisms is still not affordable information by students. To improve the quality of service quality, in accordance with applicable regulations and policies, in the implementation of monitoring and evaluation of service quality, agencies/educational institutions are required to take customer satisfaction assessment. In the development of realizing a quality education, of course the implementation will not be separated from the financing element. In universities, the cost of education is still a major issue in the implementation of education. The benefits of the research are expected to contribute informa-tion to the mechanism of cost budgeting and improve-ment of education services as well as provide an understanding of the importance of balance of education costs, quality of education services and become a reference for further research from observations.
