Abstract

PT. Petro Jordan Abadi merupakan perusahaan produsen asam fosfat di Kabupaten Gresik, Jawa Timur. Berdasarkan laporan tahunan tahun 2018, air limbah produksi semakin meningkat, dengan demikian hal ini menimbulkan oversludge yang disebabkan oleh ketidaksesuaian penginjeksian bahan kimia ke dalam bak pengolah maupun overflow debit aliran air limbah yang masuk pada salah satu unit pengolah dengan karakteristik air limbah yang belum memenuhi standar baku mutu yang ditetapkan oleh menurut Peraturan Gubernur Jawa Timur Nomor 72 Tahun 2013. Berdasarkan evaluasi yang dilakukan mengenai karakteristik dan dampak yang ditimbulkan, perlu dilakukan perancangan ulang dimensi unit pengolahan yang disesuaikan dengan kriteria desain, dan kebutuhan bahan kimia flokulan maupun koagulan. Untuk menganalisis dampak yang ditimbulkan oleh air limbah industri yang overflow, dilakukan metode pengujian sampel di Laboratorium PT. Petro Jordan Abadi. Evaluasi bak pengolah air limbah dilakukan dengan perhitungan spesifikasi masing-masing bak dan dibandingkan dengan kriteria desain menurut Metcalf and Eddy, 2003. Kemudian, dilakukan perencanaan spesifikasi masing-masing bak dan melakukan perhitungan ulang untuk memastikan bahwa perancangan yang baru telah memenuhi kriteria desain. Selain itu, juga menentukan alternatif bahan koagulan maupun flokulan yang diinjeksikan pada Primary Section dengan hasil uji jar test. Evaluasi kebutuhan koagulan dan flokulan dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan kebutuhan bahan tersebut untuk debit desain lama dengan desain baru. Hasil evaluasi mengenai karakteristik limbah yang mengalami overflow pada TK-6601 masih belum memenuhi baku mutu dan menimbulkan dampak terhadap lingkungan. Hal ini dikarenakan semua unit pengolah belum memenuhi kriteria desain. Sehingga, perlu dilakukan pembesaran dan pengurangan ukuran dimensi. Dimensi bak yang diperbesar antara lain; Bak Ekualisasi I, serta Bak Flokulasi I dan II. Sedangkan dimensi bak yang diperkecil antara lain; pada seluruh Unit Koagulasi dan Sedimentasi, serta Bak Ekualisasi II dan III. Kebutuhan Lime Milk 5604,4 kg/hari, Alum 1204,7 kg/hari, Polimer 32,5 kg/hari, NaOH 0,9 m3/hari.

Abstract

Introduction: Reservoir management problems are increasing, and tools are needed to categorize and predict their eutrophication status in order to provide technical support for the government’s decision to protect drinking water resource. Thus, this study aims to predict and classify the tendency of eutrophication level in Chengchinghu Reservoir, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan as one of major water sources for industrial and domestical needs by supplying 109,170,00 m3 for Southern Taiwan. Method: The CTSI (Carlson’s Trophic States Index, which calculated from Chl-a, TP, and transparency) datasets in winter (December-February), spring (March-May), summer (June-August), and fall (September-November) from 2000 to 2017 was collected from Taiwan Environmental Protection Administration (EPA). This study used the Classification and Regresiion Tree (CART) model provides the explicit categorical rules for Chengchinghu Reservoir. Results and Discussion: The CART results for Chengchinghu Reservoir showed the good performance of prediction since the accuracy of the CART training process value reached 61.89%. According to the CART results, the eutrophic state condition is most probably occur in Chengchinghu Reservoir when the TP concentration is greater than 22.86 mg/L or Chl-a concentration is greater than 5.2 μg/L or SD is less than 1.1 m. Conclusion: The CART result may helps the local governments to understand the pollution conditions in Chengchinghu Reservoir and take responsibility for reservoir water management and conservation. Therefore, they could make policies to treat and manage water pollution sources in Chengchinghu Reservoir.

Abstract

Sidokumpul adalah sebuah kelurahan yang berada di wilayah Kecamatan Lamongan, Kabupaten Lamongan. Penduduk Sidokumpul sebagian besar bermatapencaharian sebagai petani dan petambak. Pada musim penghujan lahan tersebut berfungsi sebagai tambak yang dimanfaatkan petani untuk budidaya ikan, sedangkan pada musim kemarau untuk usahatani padi monokultur atau padi dikombinasikan dengan ikan atau udang windu. Untuk mendukung program peningkatan produktivitas usahatani di lahan sawah tambak di Kabupaten Lamongan, perlu dilakukan sosialisasi pembuatan dan penggunaan EM4 kepada petani sawah-tambak yang tergabung dalam Gabungan Kelompok Tani (Gapoktan). Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan mulai dari persiapan kegiatan (survey lokasi, permohonan ijin, pengurusan administrasi, persiapan alat bahan dan akomodasi) pada 13 Juni 2021 hingga pelaksanaan kegiatan (penyuluhan pembuatan dan penggunaan EM4, sesi diskusi/ tanya jawab serta pemberian door prize kepada peserta penyuluhan sebagai bentuk evaluasi tingkat pemahaman peserta terhadap materi yang diberikan) pada 28 Juni 2021 yang bertempat di Sekretariat Gapoktan “Darma Sari” Kelurahan Sidokumpul. Peserta penyuluhan ini adalah anggota Gapoktan “Darma Sari” dan petani yang berdomisili disekitar Kelurahan Sidokumpul, Kabupaten Lamongan. Kegiatan penyuluhan berjalan lancar dan terlaksana dengan baik, para peserta terlihat antusias dan berharap kegiatan serupa dapat dilaksanakan pada waktu yang akan datang dan menjalin kerja sama lebih lanjut untuk pengujian efektivitas penggunaan EM4 di lahan sawah salah satu anggota Gapoktan.

Abstract

Blawi is a village where geographically located near the Bengawan Solo River crosses Lamongan Regency. During the wet season, Blawi Village often experiences flooding, however the contrary during the dry season it often experiences drought. Thus, with the background of these problems, it is necessary to carry out outreach the “Socialization and Utilization of Biopori with modification of Giving Effective Microorganism 4 (EM4)" to overcome the society problems in Blawi. This activity was held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 18.00 WIB until it is finished at the Blawi Village Hall, Karangbinangun District, Lamongan Regency. The event started with the opening, counseling, focus group discussion and question and answer sessions, until the closing. The participants of this activity were Blawi residents along with Karangtaruna and women society called PKK who enthusiastically participated in this activity. The counseling activity went smoothly and was well implemented, and it is hoped that similar activities can be carried out in the future so that collaboration between the academic community of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Islam Lamongan and the Blawi Village Government.

Abstract

One of the infectious diseases that have high morbidity and mortality rates is Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) which is transmitted through the bite of Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes. In West Java Province, dengue cases fluctuated. So it is necessary to analyze and review the influence of weather on dengue cases in West Java Province with the pattern and prevalence of dengue cases in all cities and districts in West Java Province. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research by making exploratory observations and producing something general with a Geographic Information System approach. The location of this research is in all 27 districts and cities in West Java Province. Data on dengue cases in West Java Province is accessed from the West Java Provincial Health Office on the West Java Open Data platform (https://opendata.jabarprov.go.id/). Then the population data of West Java Province can be accessed at the Central Statistics Agency of West Java Province on the https://jabar.bps.go.id/ platform. Analysis of this research data for incidence is calculated by dividing the number of cases divided by the population and then multiplying by one hundred thousand, while the prevalence can be calculated by dividing the number of cases divided by the population and then multiplying by a thousand, and mapping using QGIS 3.16. From 2014 – 2020, the highest cases were in the city of Bandung and the highest prevalence was in the city of Sukabumi. there is a relationship between rainfall and DHF cases in West Java Province in 2014 - 2020 with a moderate correlation strength where rainfall plays a role in the incidence of DHF cases but is not absolute because it can still be influenced by other factors.
