Abstract

Learning competence as an indicator of learning process achievement must be supported by appropriate learning media. There is little innovation in the development of geography learning media, and geography teachers' use of technology is still limited and ineffective. Making Augmented Reality-based learning media is one option for achieving the desired competencies. Geo-Augmented Reality technology is developed in stages, including the study of Prototype design theory, sketching out the Prototype, and continuing with the prototyping process. The Prototype is then used in conjunction with offline learning designs to provide a detailed model of field conditions for Geo-Augmented Reality media. Implementing this media-based learning is critical in order to meet the predetermined indicators of achievement of the geography learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of Project-Based Blended Learning Models Using Geo-Augmented Reality on Geography Learning Outcomes of Class X Students at SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. The research method used is quasi experiment with a quantitative approach. The population in this study was all class X IIS students at SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP which amounted to 121 students. The sampling technique used in this study was Purposive Sampling, which was 60 students from class X IIS 1 and X IIS 3. Data collection techniques through observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique is an independent sample t-test (t-test) technique. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the influence of the Project-Based Blended Learning learning model using Geo-Augmented Reality on Basic Competence 3.7 (Hydrosphere Dynamics) is better than conventional learning models. With a value of Sig. (2- tailed) of 0.000 which is less than 0.05, so it can be decided that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

Relevant media is needed to support the achievement of indicators in the learning process. The purpose of making the Geo-Augmented Reality SOP module is that schools will be skilled in using and utilizing Geo-AR media in geography learning. This Geo-AR media really helps students and teachers to understand teaching material better and it is hoped that making modules in the use of Geo-AR can make it easier for Geo-AR media users. So, it is necessary to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) based on 4D development that support learning. The aspect of internalizing understanding of material and values will increase as the Geo-AR media used can be felt and used by students in 4 Dimensional form. Devotion in the form of developing SOP Geo-AR is used to make it easier to prepare learning designs that can provide an overview of field conditions in real time. Making this media-based learning module is urgently needed to achieve indicators of achievement in the geography learning process that has been designed. The results of this development are module products, training and socialization to community service partner schools.
