Abstract

Galeri Seni Kontemporer Kota Pahlawandi Surabaya ini merupakan fasilitas galeri senikontemporer yang mewadahi cabang seni instalasidan seni Video Arts. Proyek ini dilatarbelakangioleh tidak adanya fasilitas / gedung permanen yangmampu menampung seni bagi para senimankontemporer khususnya di Kota Surabaya. Senikontemporer yang disajikan dalam galeri senikontemporer ini diharapkan mampu menceritakanesensi bagi para pengunjungnya, yaitu esensi akancerita Kota Surabaya sebagai Kota Pahlawanseiring pudarnya identitas kota dari waktu ke waktu.Konsep utama yang diterapkan mengangkateksperiens ‘ruang dan waktu’ sebagai bagian dalamperjalanan pada galeri. Pengalaman ‘ruang danwaktu’ mampu menceritakan sebuah alur /sequence Kota Pahlawan melalui instalasi senikontemporer dari bangunan lama menuju kebangunan baru. Keseluruhan eksperiens perjalanandalam ‘ruang dan waktu’ ini diekspresikan melaluidetail-detail arsitektural pada setiap bagianbangunan.

Abstract

Biodiesel can be produced from either vegetable oil or animal fats through transesterfication process. Problem that usually appears in transesterification process is long reaction time because oil and alcohol are not mutually dissolved. The addition of co-solvent can help mixing the reactants. In this study chicken fat was used as feedstock for biodiesel production through transesterification reaction. The reaction of chicken fat using diethyl ether as co-solvent, NaOH as catalyst, and methanol as reactant at a ratio molar of methanol/ oil 6 : 1. Variables studied were temperature, reaction time, ratio of co-solvent to methanol, and the amount of catalyst on biodiesel characteristics. Products were analyzed by gas chromatography to obtain the composition of biodiesel. The biodiesel properties like methyl-ester content, density, and viscosity was evaluated and was found to compare well with Indonesian Standard (SNI). The results of this work showed that the use of chicken fat is very suitable as low cost feedstock for biodiesel production. The best result was obtained in a ratio of co-solvent/ methanol 0,5 : 1 (v/v), a temperature of 35oC, 20 minutes of reaction time, and 0,8 % (w/w) of catalyst amount.

Abstract

Abstrak - Meningkatnya jumlah pengguna internet memberikan dampak positif bagi perusahaan atau bisnis-bisnis yang menggunakan fasilitas internet. Di Indonesia, peluang dalam bidang ini diambil oleh salah satu Online Travel Agent (OTA), yaitu traveloka.com. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh security, brand name, word of mouth, good online experience, dan quality of information terhadap komitmen merek, dengan menggunakan kepercayaan merek sebagai variabel mediasi terhadap traveloka.com. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei terhadap 200 konsumen traveloka.com. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa brand name dan word of mouth tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepercayaan merek. Akan tetapi security, good online experience, dan quality of information berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepercayaan merek, dan kepercayaan merek berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen merek.Kata kunci: Security, Brand Name, Word of Mouth, Good Online Experience, Quality of Information, Kepercayaan Merek dan Komitmen MerekAbstract - The increasing of internet users gives advantage for companies or businesses using internet facilities. In Indonesia, Online Travel Agent (OTA) like traveloka.com, grabs this opportunity. This research aimed to determine the impact of security, brand name, word of mouth, good online experience, and the quality of information toward brand commitment, by using brand trust as the mediator on traveloka.com. This research used survey method on 200 consumers of traveloka.com. The results show that brand name and word of mouth have no significant influence on brand trust. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menguji motivasi dan tipe perilaku komplain generasi Z. Uji mean dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat motivasi dan tipe perilaku komplain generasi Z. Uji independent t-test dan one way ANOVA digunakan untuk menguji perbedaan antara motivasi dan tipe perilaku komplain generasi Z dengan faktor demografi usia, jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, dan jumlah pendapatan atau uang saku. Berdasarkan hasil uji dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Motivasi komplain utama generasi Z dalam melakukan komplain adalah mengharapkan adanya tindakan perbaikan dari pihak hotel. (2) Tipe perilaku komplain generasi Z yang paling sering dilakukan adalah menyebarkan negative word of mouth saat terjadi kegagalan jasa. (3) Tidak terdapat perbedaan motivasi dan tipe perilaku komplain generasi Z yang signifikan pada layanan hotel di Indonesia berdasarkan faktor demografi usia, jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, dan jumlah pendapatan atau uang saku. (4) Terdapat perbedaan tipe perilaku komplain generasi Z yang signifikan pada layanan hotel di Indonesia jika dilihat dari faktor demografi usia. Kata Kunci :Motivasi Komplain, Perilaku Komplain, Generasi Z, Hotel. Abstract This study aimed to examine the difference betweencomplaint motivation and type of complaint behavior of gen Zwith age, gender, education level, andtotal  income or pocket money. Mean test is done to determine the motivation and type of complaint behavior of gen Z. The independent t-test and one-way ANOVA test are used to see the difference between motivation and type of complaint behavior of gen Z with age, gender, education level, and total income or pocket money. The conclusions are: (1) Complaint motivation of gen Z is to request corrective action of the hotel. (2) Type of complaint behavior of gen Z is to spread negative word of mouth after the service failure. (3) There is no significant difference in the complaint motivation and type of complaint behavior of gen Z seen from age, gender, education level, and total income or pocket money. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan di dua hotel yang berlokasi di Surabaya dan satu hotel yang berlokasi di Semarang untuk Mengetahui Bagaimana Bullying yang Dialami oleh Karyawan Restoran di Hotel Berbintang di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif eksploratori dengan metode wawancara mendalam dan semi-terstruktur. Dalam penelitian ini, informan yang ditentukan adalah karyawan restoran yang pernah mengalami bullying di hotel berbintang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karyawan restoran yang bekerja di dalam hotel berbintang mengalami bullying baik itu dalam bentuk verbal maupun fisik yang disebabkan oleh faktor internal dan eksternal karyawan. Dan dari bullying tersebut memberikan dampak secara psikologis maupun fisik kepada korbannya.Kata kunci: Bullying, Karyawan, Restoran, Hotel Berbintang.ABSTRACTThe research was conducted at two hotels in Surabaya and one hotel in Semarang to analyze Bullying Experienced by Employee in Starred Hotel’s Restaurant in Indonesia. This research is exploratory qualitative using in-depth and semi-structured interviews. In this study, informants are the restaurant employee who are ever experienced bullying in starred hotel. The results showed that restaurant employee who work in starred hotel are ever experience bullying whether in the form of verbal and physical caused by employee’s internal and external factors. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi wisatawan pada otensititas (perceived authenticity) House of Sampoerna (HoS) terhadap niat untuk mengunjungi kembali (revisit intention) tempat wisata dengan ikatan emosional terhadap tempat wisata yang dikunjungi (place attachment) sebagai variabel mediasi. Teknik analisa data menggunakan PLS-SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi wisatawan pada otensititas HoS berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap ikatan emosional dengan tempat wisata yang dikunjungi dan niat untuk berkunjung kembali ke HoS. Ikatan emosional dengan tempat wisata yang dikunjungi juga menjadi variabel mediasi yang positif dan signifikan bagi hubungan antara persepsi otensititas dan niat berkunjung kembali.Kata Kunci : Persepsi otensititas , ikatan emosional tempat, niat berkunjung kembali, wisata bersejarahABSTRACTThis study was conducted to determine the effect of perceived authenticity of HoS tourists towards place attachment and revisit intention with place attachment as the mediating variable. The primary data collected was analysed with PLS-SEM. The results showed that perceived authenticity had a positive and significant effect towards place attachment and tourists’ intention to revisit HoS. Place attachment of tourists in HoS both showed a positive and significant mediating role for the effect of perceived authenticity on visitors’ intention to revisit HoS in the future.Keywords: Perceived authenticity, place attachment, revisit intention, heritage tourism.

Abstract

Breast cancer is a cancer caused by uncontrolled cell growth at breast tissue. One of the most common triggers of breast cancer is overexpression of estrogen receptor alpha (ER?). This researchs goal is to test the ability of coumestrol as the ligand of ER? with in silico method and to discover coumestrols binding pose inside the ER?s binding pocket. Coumestrols ability as ER?s ligand was tested using structure-based virtual screening (SVBS) method by Setiawati et al. (2014) that had been modified by Istyastono (2015). Results analysis was done using decision tree generated from recursive partition and regression tree method (RPART). If coumestrol is a ligand based on decision tree, it is concluded that coumestrol is active as ligand of ER?. At the end of analysis, coumestrols pose inside ER?s binding pocket was visualized using MacPyMol. From the test acknowledged that the smallest ChemPLP value of coumestrols pose was -83.1487. Coumestrol interacts with GLY420, ARG394, and GLU353 using hydrogen bonds. However, coumestrol were perceived as decoy according to decision tree. Hence, coumestrol could not be recognized as ER?s ligand by the protocol. Therefore, development of proper protocol to indentify ligand for ER? is required.

Abstract

This study aims to prove and analyze the effect of Current Ratio, Debt to Asset Ratio, Working Capital Turnover on Return on Assets in consumer goods industry sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017. The population in this study is 42 goods industry sector companies’ consumption listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017. Of 42 listed companies, 24 sample companies were selected using purposive sampling. The results of the discussion showed that simultaneously independent variables; Current Ratio, Debt to Asset Ratio, Working Capital Turnover with the F test, together affect the Return on Asset. Partial results with the T test, the variable Debt to Asset Ratio affects the Return on Asset, while the Current Ratio, Working Capital Turnover has no effect and is not significant on Return on Assets.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode eksperimental untuk mengkaji pengaruh kuat lentur balok beton yang dilapisi polypropylene-engineered cementitious composites yang menggunakan variasi fly ash sebesar 30% dan variasi abu sekam padi sebesar 0%, 5%, dan 10% dari berat semen. Adapun persentase serat polypropylene yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu 0%, 0,1%, 0,2%, dan 0,3% dari berat jenis serat. Lapisan PP-ECC dicor pada sisi alas balok beton yang berukuran 600x100x100 mm dengan dua variasi ketebalan yaitu 20 mm dan 40 mm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa balok beton yang dilapisi dengan PP-ECC mampu meningkatkan kekuatan lentur. Dimana kuat lentur optimum terjadi pada balok beton berlapis PP-ECC dengan variasi ASP 10% dan serat PP 0,3% yaitu sebesar 5,43 MPa untuk tebal lapisan ECC 20 mm dan 3,93 MPa pada tebal lapisan ECC 40 mm. Balok beton berlapis PP-ECC dengan tebal lapisan ECC 40 mm menunjukkan nilai lendutan akhir yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan tebal lapisan ECC 20 mm. Dari hasil pengujian ini, juga dapat diketahui bahwa penggunaan limbah organik abu sekam padi dan limbah by-product batu bara yaitu fly ash dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai material addition dalam campuran ECC.

Abstract

Samsat Mobile Jawa Barat (Sambara) is an Android-based application developed by the West Java provincial government to check vehicle taxes in West Java. This study aims to measure the usability of the Sambara application using the System Usability Scale (SUS) and USE Questionnaire methods. The SUS and USE Questionnaire methods are questionnaire-based methods with 10 and 30 questions. The study involved 42 respondents. The results of the validity test show that all data are valid so that they can be used for the research. The results of data processing with the SUS method showed an average value of 62.91. This value is categorized as OK with Grade C-, Percentile Rank 35%, Marginal Acceptability, and Passive NPS. This means that the Sambara application can be accepted by the community in marginal groups with passive users; users do not recommend the application to others. The results of data processing using the USE Questionnaire method obtained an average value of 76.1%, which means that the Sambara application is considered suitable for use. The average value of the questionnaire results is 5.32 out of 7. It means that usability of Sambara application is considered good.
