Abstract

The purpose of holding this program is the understanding of adolescents about the dangers of drugs, the importance of limiting and monitoring the use of technology from parents to children, the importance of English in this globalization era, and increasing children?s knowledge of English. The method of this program was carried out in the Panglong village RT 04 RW 11 ( socialization, material, and understanding provided ). The result of this program is that local residents are more aware of the dangers of drugs, increased knowledge of English and insight on understanding the use of technology.

Abstract

Obesity has become a global issue. Previous studies in Bali reveal an increase in the proportionof obesity in adolescents. Obesity causes hypertension; hence there should also be an increase inthe prevalence of hypertension as well in Bali. Hypertension in obese adolescents could be causedby various factors, hence identification of the risks factors is crucial as a preventive approach.The aim of this study was to prove an association between obesity and hypertension in adolescents,and to look for the risk factors. We used an analitical cross sectional design conducted to 12-14years old samples. We took body weight, height, waist circumference, hip circumference, andblood pressure measurements with appropriate devices and asked for information regarding lifestyle and familial history by a questionnare filled in by the samples. The association of obeseadolescents with hypertension and their risk factors was analyzed by Chi-square and multivariatetests. A total of 225 subjects from Santo Yoseph junior high school students, west Denpasar,Bali, met the inclusion criteria. The proportion of obese subjects in this study was 25.7%. Wefound that proportion in familial history of obesity was greater in obese than non-obese subjects(70.7 % vs 41.3%). Logistic regression test revealed that obese subjects with hypertension had abody mass index (BMI) > 30 with odds ratio of 7.3 (CI 95% = 1.8 to 28.8) and P = 0.005. Weconcluded that there was an association between obesity and adolescents with hypertension,and BMI > 30 could be a risk factor for obese adolescents with hypertension.

Abstract

Materi pembelajaran pada Kurikulum Kejar Paket B dan C di Kelurahan Gayam dan Bandar Lor Kecamatan Mojoroto Kota Kediri memfokuskan pada materi pendidikan formal. Usia siswa Kejar Paket B dan C yang bervariasi, mulai dari usia sekolah hingga usia produktif, tingkat perekonomian siswa yang berada pada tingkat menengah kebawah, serta minat dan kebutuhan siswa untuk menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang siap diaplikasikan di dunia kerja, mengharuskan siswa untuk menambah pengetahuan dari sumber lain selain dari Kurikulum Kejar Paket B dan C. Kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membekali siswa PKBM dengan pengetahuan bisnis dan aplikasi komputer yang banyak dibutuhkan dalam berwirausaha maupun sebagai tenaga kerja pada perusahaan maupun instansi. Aktivitas yang dilakukan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah dengan memberikan beberapa pelatihan kewirausahaan yaitu : sablon dan usaha kue kering beserta simulasi bisnisnya, Pelatihan desain dengan CorelDraw dan Photoshop tingkat Pemula serta Pelatihan Blog desain untuk pemasaran online. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan pentingnya kegiatan pelatihan kewirausahaan dan pelatihan aplikasi komputer yang banyak dibutuhkan dalam dunia usaha dan kemampuan berjualan online bagi siswa PKBM. DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v3i0.2667

Abstract

Let G = (V, E) be a simple and connected graph. For each x ∈ V(G), it is associated with a vector pair (a, b), denoted by S x , corresponding to subset S = {s1 , s2 , ... , s k } ⊆ V(G), with a = (d(x, s1 ), d(x, s2 ), ... , d(x, s k )) and b = (δ(x, s1 ), δ(x, s2 ), ... , δ(x, s k )). d(v, s) is the length of shortest path from vertex v to s, and δ(v, s) is the length of the furthest path from vertex v to s. The set S is called the bi-resolving set in G if S x ≠ S y for any two distinct vertices x, y ∈ V(G). The bi- metric dimension of graph G, denoted by β b (G), is the minimum cardinality of the bi-resolving set in graph G. In this study we analyze bi-metric dimension in the antiprism graph (A n ). From the analysis that has been done, it is obtained the result that bi-metric dimension of graph A n , β b (A n ) is 3. Keywords: Antiprism graph, bi-metric dimension, bi-resolving set. .

Abstract

A graph is embeddable on a surface if it can be drawn on that surface without any edges intersect. The cycle graphs can always be embedded on the plane and the torus, but this is not occurred for their complements. We prove that the maximum order of cycle graphs such that their complements still can be embedded on the plane is 6. But, the maximum order of cycle graphs such that their complements still can be embedded on the torus is 9. Also, the crossing number of complements of cycle graphs which can’t be embedded on the plane with minimum order will be presented.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Persepsi positif konsumen terhadap suatu produk dapat dipengaruhi oleh branding, karena konsumen dapat mengenali nama, desain, atau merek suatu produk melalui brand tersebut, sehingga produk kita dapat membedakan dengan produk pesaing. Pemasaran, merek, desain, dan pengemasan produk UMKM adalah masalah yang sama. Berdasarkan analisis masalah ini, tujuan utama dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan bisnis UMKM minuman Cincau dengan menggunakan branding kemasan digital untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan membuat. Diharapkan dengan membangun branding untuk produk cincau ini, konsumen dari berbagai daerah dapat membeli dan membagikannya kepada orang-orang di seluruh dunia di tempat pemasaran minuman cincau di Desa Haurwangi Kecamatan Haurwangi Kabupaten Cianjur. ABSTRACTConsumers' positive perception of a product can be influenced by branding, because through a brand consumers can recognize the name, design or brand of a product so they can differentiate our product from competitors. The same problems found with MSME products are product marketing, branding, design and packaging of MSME products. Based on the analysis of these problems, the aim of this community service is to improve the MSME business of grass jelly drinks by creating a digital branding for grass jelly product packaging that can increase competitiveness in the market and make. By creating a branding for grass jelly products, the author expected that in the future this grass jelly product will not only be marketed only in the area around the village, but can be purchased and made into souvenirs by consumers from various regions who stop by at the marketing location for grass jelly drinks which is located in Haurwangi Village, Haurwangi District, Cianjur Regency.
