Abstract

The purpose of this study (1) to test the effectiveness of the Group Investigation learning model with Hands on Activity assisted by teaching aids on conceptual understanding (2) to describe the understanding of the concept of class V students in terms of students' curiosity. The method used is the research Mix Method, and the design Concurrent Embedded. This research was conducted at the Semarang Elementary School Lab. The population of this study was the fifth grade students of the SD Lab School Semarang in the academic year 2017/2018. From the V classes at the Semarang Elementary School Lab 2 classes were randomly selected to get the VA class as the experimental class subjected to the learning model Group Investigation with Hands on Activity assisted by teaching aids and the VB class as the control class subjected to the expository learning model. Learning Group Investigation assisted by Hands On Activity with teaching aids on volume material and beam surface area in class V students proved effective. Students with high categories with high curiosity have been able to reach all four aspects of the ability to understand mathematical concepts; students with curiosity are able to achieve three aspects. the ability to understand mathematical concepts, and for students with low curiosity can only achieve one aspect of the ability to understand mathematical concepts.

Abstract

AbstrackThis study has purposes, namely to test the effectiveness of the MMP learning model on problem-solving abilities and to describe problem solving abilities in terms of self-efficacy. The benefits of this research are (1) Students get meaningful knowledge to develop problem-solving skills through the MMP learning model (2) Teachers can choose the right learning model to develop problem solving abilities (3) Provide an overview to the teachers about problem solving abilities in terms of self-assessing student’s efficacy. The results showed that: (1) the MMP learning model was effective on problem solving abilities, (2) a) high self-efficacy’ students could understand problems, plan problem-solving, and implement problem-solving plans, as well as re-examine correctly and completely. b) moderate self-efficacy’s students could understand problems, plan problem-solving, implement problem-solving’s plan correctly but not yet completely, re-examine but not yet able to use other methods. c) low self-efficacy’s students could understand problems and plan problem-solving correctly but incompletely, less able to carry out problem-solving plans, but unable to re-examine and use other methods. Based on data and research findings regarding problem-solving abilities in terms of student self-efficacy in MMP learning, it can be recommended: (1) Teachers should guide and help developing the low self-efficacy’s students problem-solving abilities to further improve their abilities. (2) Measuring the students’ self-efficacy even involving a psychological institution in every school is important, so that each school has self-efficacy’s data to provide treatment to the students. (3) The low self-efficacy’s students need further treatment by cultivating confidence and giving direction that they are able to learn mathematics, improving problem solving skill and not prioritizing memorization in learning mathematics.

Abstract

This service is aimed at Grade 4 students at SDN Jubelan 01, Sumowono District, Semarang Regency. The problems faced by partners are that students are not equipped with knowledge about life skills education, have not been empowered to grow vegetables and fruit in pots, and students' knowledge is only limited to planting plants in pots without paying attention to plant needs. The methods used are socialization, demonstration and practice as well as monitoring and evaluation. The results of this training activity participants have experienced an increase in PKH by an average of 92.17%, namely student knowledge about PKH 100%, knowledge about tabulampot 83.49%, student skills in planting tabulampot 93.76% and student knowledge about plant care 91.44%. Therefore, the results of this health literacy training activity can be said to be successful in the very good category. Petadampot media helps students in taking care of plants so that they can improve student survival education, especially in terms of food security. This activity is expected to be one of the school's flagship programs that can be a source of school income.

Abstract

Pemahaman remaja tentang seks dan seksualitas yang sehat  masih sangat kurang, hal ini di buktikan  masih ada sekitar 60% remaja mengaku telah mempratekkan seks pra nikah dan 50% dari pengidap HIV dan AIDS adalah kelompok usia remaja. Rasa penasaran dan ingin tahu remaja tentang sex, menggugah perilaku  pada perbuatan –perbuatan yang mengarah pada percobaan dan bahkan melakukan perbuatan sex pranikah.. Siswa SMA muhammadiyah Sumowono, Kecamatan Sumowono, Kab Semarang termasuk kelompok remaja yang perlu mendapatkan pendidikan kesehatan terkait seks dan kesehatan reproduksi karena mayoritas masyarakat wilayah Sumowono menganggap tabu apabila berbicara tentang seks dan kultur budaya masyarakatnya masih minim untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang masalah seksualitas dan kesehatan reproduksi. Tujuan dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian ini  agar para siswa mendapatkan informasi yang benar  tentang seksualitas dan kesehatan reproduksi untuk mencegah terjadinya perilaku seks bebas dan dampak penyakit yang bisa ditimbulkannya. Metode pendekatan yang dilakukan yaitu memberikan pendidikan kesehatan tentang seksualitas dan kesehatan reproduksi.Siswa sebelumnya dievaluasi pengetahuanya tentang seksualitas dan kesehatan reproduksi pada remaja. Pendidikan kesehatan diberikan secara daring dengan bantuan media sosial yang dimiliki siswa. Hasil dari pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilakukan didapatkanhasil sebagian besar siswa pemahamnanya baik tentang pendidikan seksualitas dan kesehatan reproduksi sebesar 40.5 %, pemahamnan sangat baik 35.2 % serta yang pemahanya cukup 24.3 % Kesimpulan pengabdian kepada masyarakat  pada siswa SMA Sumowono Kab. Semarang terjadi peningkatan pemahaman dan pengetahuannya tentang pendidikan kesehatan seksualitas dan kesehatan reproduksi remaja untuk mencegah  perilaku seks bebas dan penyakit yang ditimbulkannya.Kata kunci: Seksualitas, kesehatan reproduksi, perilaku seks bebas.

Abstract

Peranan guru atau pendidik sebagai fasilitator sangatlah mutlak diperlukan dalam setiap proses belajar mengajar khususnya di tingkat Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar (SD). Para pendidik memerlukan berbagai macam bentuk strategi dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa akan numerasi, literasi dan teknologi. Ada beberapa metode yang dapat diterapkan sebagai upaya untuk memfasilitasi guru, siswa maupun orang tua akan pengetahuan terkait numerasi, literasi, dan teknologi khususnya ketika pandemi COVID 19 berlangsung. Pada tahun 2021, Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset dan  Teknologi (Mendikbudristek) meluncurkan beberapa jenis program terkait pendidikan dan pelayanan masyarakat, salah satunya adalah Program Kampus Mengajar II (KM). Kampus Mengajar merupakan suatu terobosan dalam dunia pendidikan yang berdampak pada pengangkatan kualitas sekolah-sekolah yang berada di daerah 3T (Terdepan, Terpencil dan Tertinggal) yang salah satunya adalah SDN 84 Gresik. Tujuan utama dari penulisan artikel pengabdian masyarakat dalam bidang pendidikan ini adalah untuk menjabarkan kegiatan yang telah di implementasikan oleh mahasiswa bimbingan dan Dosen Pembimbing Lapangan (DPL) dalam mengembangkan pengetahuan akan numerasi,literasi dan teknologi bagi siswa, guru maupun orang tua wali murid di SDN 84 Gresik selama progam Kampus Mengajar II berlangsung. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui proses teknik pencatatan selama observasi, tanya jawab, diskusi serta dokumentasi di setiap kegiatan selama kurang lebih dua puluh minggu. Dari program tersebut dapat disimpulkan jika kurangnya pengetahuan akan numerasi, literasi dan teknologi bagi siswa, guru, maupun orang tua/wali murid di SDN 84 Gresik memberikan dampak yang signifikan pada akreditasi sekolah. Sehingga diharapkan agar Kepala Diknas Pendidikan Dasar (Kadin Didkas) Kabupaten Gresik ikut berperan dan memberikan dukungan demi kemajuan SDN 84 Gresik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Keefektifan Model PBL berbasis games berbantuan Media Brain Math Puzzle Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD di Gugus Gedongsongo Kecamatan Sumowono. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Jubelan 01 dan 02. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan Penggunaan Model Problem Based Learning Berbasis Games Berbantuan Media Brain Math Puzzle terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis. Hasil uji paired sampel t-test menunjukkan taraf signifikansi < 0,05 yaitu 0,00 < 0,05, maka ???????? diterima.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop the electronic student worksheets (E-LKPD), based on the Science, Environment, Technology, and Society (SETS), in improving the learning activities of elementary school students. In this Research and Development (R&D) designed research, the data collection techniques used were the questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The data was analyzed with SETS elements, the e-worksheet validity test was measured by the experts validation, the learning practices were measured using the student and teacher observations lists, the effectiveness of the e-worksheet was tested using the independent sample t-test and the students' cognitive mastery test scores. The results showed that the SETS -based e-worksheet was valid, practical, and effective in increasing students’ learning activities. It can be concluded that: 1) the e-worksheet is valid as the average score from the expert validation resulted 93.5% in a ‘very good’ category and can be used without revision; 2) the e-worksheet is practical, proved by the observation result in the experimental class students that reached  88%, compared to the control class with 72 % score. The results of the students’ responses scored 81% in ‘good’ category and 93% in the experimental class in a ‘very good’ category; 3) the e-worksheet proved to be effective shown by the t-count which was higher than the t-table (2.619 > 1.995), that made the H0 was rejected, that suggested there was a difference in the result of cognitive learning in the experimental (91.4% ) and control class (80%).

Abstract

This purpose of this research was to know the effect of the AIR (Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition) learning model assisted by media cartoons math on the problem solving abilities of fourth grade students in SD Negeri Kupang 01. In this study used a quantitative Quasi-Experiment research approach. The population in this study were all fourth grade students at SDN Kupang 01 totaling 49 students and the sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique where in class IV B was the experimental class with 23 students and class IV A was the control class with 26 students. The data was analyzed by normality test, homogeneity test, simple linear regression test and independent sample t test. The results of the study: There is an influence of the application of the Auditory Intelectually Repetition learning model on the problem solving abilities of fourth grade students in SD Negeri Kupang 01 as evidenced by tcount 6.614 > ttable 2.074 and a significant value < 0.05, namely 0.000 < 0.05 using a simple linear regression test

Abstract

ABSTRAK Karya ilmiah merupakan laporan yang berisi hasil penelitian atau pengkajian yang dilakukan oleh seseorang untuk memberikan sebuah temuan dari suatu objek atau permasalahan. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini secara khusus bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada mahasiswa mengenai bagaimana menulis Karya Ilmiah, meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam menulis, dan meningkatkan kualitas hasil KTI mahasiswa. Peserta pelatihan yakni 28 Mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Ngudi Waluyo. Materi yang disajikan pada saat pelatihan meliputi Konsep Dasar Penyusunan KTI, Penggunaan Bahasa dalam KTI, dan Tips Mengatasi Plagiasi dalam KTI. Metode yang digunakan pada saat pelatihan yakni ceramah, demonstrasi, diskusi interaktif dan pembimbingan. Hasil dari kegiatan PkM ini yakni mahasiswa mendapatkan pengetahuan dasar tentang penyusunan KTI seperti artikel, proposal dan skripsi, dan mahasiswa mampu menyusun KTI yang sesuai dengan sistematika dan kriteria penulisan, serta mahasiwa mampu menulis KTI yang berkualitas. Kata Kunci: karya tulis ilmiah, plagiarism, parafrashe ABSTRACT Scientific work is a report that contains the results of research or studies conducted by someone to provide findings from an object or problem. This Community Service (PkM) activity specifically aims to provide students with an understanding of how to write scientific papers, improve student skills in writing, and improve the quality of student KTI results. The training participants were 28 PGSD students from Ngudi Waluyo University. The materials presented during the training included the Basic Concepts of Preparation of KTI, Language Use in KTI, and Tips for Overcoming Plagiarism in KTI. The methods used during the training were lectures, demonstrations, interactive discussions and mentoring. The results of this PkM activity are students get basic knowledge about the preparation of KTI such as articles, proposals and theses, and students are able to compile KTI in accordance with the systematics and writing criteria, and students are able to write quality KTI. Keywords: scientific writing, plagiarism, paraphrasing
