Abstract

This research was aimed to describe and to investigate: (1) the implementation of cooperative learning model of time token Arends in improving communication skill and cooperation of students; (2) the effectiveness of a model of cooperative learning time token Arends to increase communication skill and cooperation of students. The research design applied Class Action Research consisted of three cycles with 2 meetings for each cycle. Data collection technique in this research was observation sheet. The collected data were then analyzed comparative descriptive statistical technique. The results of this research were (1) an increase in communication skills and cooperation of students in each cycle by using a model of cooperative learning time token Arends. (2) Entrepreneurship learning using cooperative learning time token Arends can effectively improve communication skill and cooperation of students.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk (1) mendeskripsikan implementasi model cooperative learning time token Arends dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berkomunikasi dan kerjasama siswa; (2) mengetahui efektivitas model cooperative learning time token Arends dalam pembelajaran Kewirausahaan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berkomunikasi dan kerjasama siswa. Desain penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas terdiri dari tiga siklus dengan 2 kali pertemuan tiap siklusnya. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif komparatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) adanya peningkatan keterampilan berkomunikasi dan kerjasama siswa di tiap siklus dengan menggunakan model cooperative learning time token Arends. (2) pembelajaran Kewirausahaan menggunakan cooperative learning time token Arends efektif dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berkomunikasi dan kerjasama siswa.Kata kunci: cooperative learning, kerjasama, keterampilan berkomunikasi, kewirausahaan, time token arends

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low science learning outcomes of fourth and fifth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Tiuh Memon. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of learning styles on science learning outcomes. This type of research is quantitative with ex post facto research methods. The research population was 37 students with data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation studies. The results showed that the students of SD Negeri 3 Tiuh Memon had a Visual learning style of 54.05%, Auditory 13.5%, and Kinesthetic 32.45%. Science learning outcomes of students seen from the final semester assessment (PAS) showed that learning outcomes were in the moderate category achieved by 37 students with a percentage of 83.80% and an average of 68.70. Based hypothesis testing data using a simple regression test, it is obtained that  is 6,113 2,030. Then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, there is a positive influence between learning style variables and learning outcomes. The correlation coefficient (r) is 0.753, the correlation is categorized as strong, the coefficient of determination r square is 0.5678, which means that 56.78% of science learning outcomes are influenced by learning styles.
