Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of motivation to learn , interest in reading to the results of studying economics at class XI . The method used in this research was descriptive method verification with ex post facto approach and survey method . The research subjects were students of class XI . The population in this research were 103 students . The sampling technique in this research was Simple Random Sampling. The sample in this research totaled 83 students . Hypothesis testing was using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression . The results showed that there was an influence of learning motivation and interest in reading on learning outcomes.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar, minat baca terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa kelas XI. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif verifikatif dengan pendekatan ex post facto dan metode survey. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XI. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 103 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Simple Random Sampling. Sampel dalam penenilitan ini berjumlah 83 siswa. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana dan regresi linier ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh motivasi belajar dan minat baca terhadap hasil belajar.Kata kunci: motivasi belajar, minat baca, hasil belajar
